I'm a wi - fi connection, but "limited access" to the internet - which translates into NO access. I am running Windows Vista. Any help?

  I would start by temporarily disable encryption on your wireless network wireless. Once you do, try to see if your iBook can connect now. If so, the AirPort card built into your iBook isn't able to connect to networks wireless using WPA or WPA2. It depends on the version of the card itself.
