This message came whenever I opened it and tried to use Thunderbird today, it's driving me crazy. Also, it is not the first time that this has happened

Then delete the Thunderbird folder

Restart and reinstall

Count 08/04/2014 Thunderbird has stopped working in my PC somehow. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro x 64. Before that day, everything was ok and Thunderbird was not working. I asked a few friends using Windows 8 and they have the same problem. Thunderbird load e-mail accounts and will not send and receive all of the emails. It won't even add a new e-mail account. This is the message received when you try to add a new account "sorry - we are unable to communicate with our server subscription. Please check your connection. ». If we're going to try to go forward and add a new account anyway the answer will also be that Thunderbird can not connect to any server. We have uninstalled Thunderbird and install several times in the last days without success. I was trying to delete the folder Thunderbird of the t in Program files, but I can't. Uninstall it and install new procedure including the deletion of folder was a solution a few years but it seams that now no longer works.
Over the last 2 weeks Thunderbird started working only for a few hours and we have the same problem again. I asked about 10 people working with Thunderbird and they have the same problem right now and they have had the same problem during the month.
Of course I turned off windows firewall and test if Thunderbird will work, but it was not a solution. I am running windows 8.1 Pro x 64. Thunderbird is not on the list of authorized or unauthorized software through the firewall, and I can't find any option to add the Thunderbird to the list to try to resolve the problem.
I use BitDefender Antivirus and I disabled the BitDefender firewall and the same thing happens. I also disabled the whole antivirus functions after and the same thing. I turned from bot windows firewall and firewall BitDefender or off all BitDefender and the same thing happens. I checked the BitDefender firewall and the Thunderbird has full access.
Also, I checked the Windows updates. I am not usually accommodate updates in my PC. I remember I have choose to not install Microsoft updates ever. I checked the State and he is near the top is not to install Microsoft updates. I also checked the "update history" and empty status is "you have not tried to install updates on your computer.
I started windows 8.1 Pro x 64 in safe mode with network and started Thunderbird while windows is in safe mode, and it has the same problem.
I am trying to add Gmail and AOL accounts in Thunderbird. The emails are all browser set correctly and working well or another e-mail client.
Today (21/04/2014) Thunderbird has the same problem.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Desktop icons not working/Getting Internet Explorer has stopped working Message also
I'm having a problem with my desktop icons. The first time, I use a desktop icon to enter a site when I first you register my lap top everything works but when I close the site and try to open another icon on my desktop, icons no longer highlight or open. The problem seems to be related as a result of security Kaspersky you use. Try to disable Kaspersky and reload the game (s).

Keep getting 'command line' has stopped working
When I try to turn on windows Defender - will work a few minutes then I get the error message the command line has stoped working and leaves the program - it won't turn after I restarted my computer - but maintains it of the thing happens - I have to run a malware scan - but just Defender will not stay
If you have Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, McAfee, Norton, etc. installed, they have a conflict with Windows Defender, or turn it off.
Microsoft Security Essentials has its own integrated version of the defender and should automatically disable the version of Vista in Windows Defender.

Looks like you have an unwanted kind of crapware on your computer.Delete Adware & puppies with these tools. Check the updates first and then analyze with each of them at a time until your machine is clean.

I get "windows update has stopped working".
It is said further than a problem caused blocking the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Check please the RAM to find errors. Please download memtest86 + [1] write a new bootable CD (use a CD - RW if possible) of ISO (download and use ImgBurn [2] for this), restart your PC and scan your RAM 4-5 h to find errors.
