I get "Internet Explorer has stop working and stop" whenever I leave internet.
I just wanted to know if this can be fixed before it needs of a GEEK!
Go to start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > Internet Explorer (No Add-ons)
If you encounter a problem with any Add - ons, use Manage Add-ons from the Tools menu to turn off half of your modules. If the problem persists, disable half of the other add-ons. Continue in this way, activation and deactivation of the modules, until you identify the add-on that is causing the problem. Then check the updates for the module or uninstall it.
If the problem does not seem to be linked to modules, use the startup procedure to identify the cause of the problem. http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Microsoft Explorer has stopped working
I have Vista premium 64 bit which worked well for 8 months. Now, I'm getting Microsoft Explorer has stopped working suite by Microsoft Explorer restarts. In this case problably 10 to 15 times a day when I try to perform a task that requires exploring. In addition, IE explore has the same problem (I was using IE7 32 bit until he leaves then I installed IE8 - worked for 3 days of work, then he started too fault, I tried the 32-bit versions and 64-bit - same problem). Firefox works fine! I tried to do a restore, but crashes with a blue screen of death each time. I have a Dell 430 quad-processor with 8 GB of ram. Any suggestions that I have not already tried another that reformat and reinstall the OS?
Hello
IE and Explorer are closely related, so things that affect one affect both.
Try these and it can also be a good idea to update your main drivers later. The General corruption can also play a
role in this issue. And even the TCP/IP stack might need to be refreshed. What antivirus/antispyware/security products do you have on the machine? Be one you ALREADY had on this

IE - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced - tab click on restore, and then click Reset - apply / OK

Close and restart IE or IE with no addons

Windows Explorer has stopped working vista 64-bit
This is a random error that continues to be. I wonder if I want to seek a solution, when I do, it seeks a minute then quits or restart the program, when I do closes. It's random, seems to happen with windows internal programs, it happens more with I click, right happens again and again, but I'm going to work if there is more then a why to open a program like: go to control panel and double click on Device Manager, I get Windows Explorer has stopped working, but I can't get to the system hardware tab Device Manager and it opens fine. I can do a restore and I don't know that I don't have a virus or spyware on my computer. I can't say at this point when it started, cause I just thought it was a freak thing. Maybe something to do with the UAC. There must be an easy fix for this. Please help, going nuts about it.

"Windows Explorer has stopped working" - help!
Running Vista HP, sp 2.
Firewall on the router & McAfee.
WE automatic updates of windows
In the last two days, I get "Windows Explorer has stopped working" pretty constantly. Not the kind of endless loop, just whenever I try to use it, it will give the errmsg, close, claim that it restarts and fail to do so.
I've had a scout quick tour here for solutions and tried all that is obvious:
(1) run the System File Checker (Nothing found)
(2) run chkdsk (Nothing found)
(3) installed and run a-squared (found nothing)
(4) off the display of thumbnails (past again)
(5) started in SafeMode (past again)
FWIW, a few other applications have the same problem, for example Adobe Acrobat will crash all trying to save a file, to the point where it's the folder view. And Acrobat and Windows Explorer are broken only if you try to display all drives on the computer. If you start to US at a lower level, in 'my documents' therefore very well with what he shows you. If you then scroll down to 'computer' and click to enlarge, this is the point where it crashes.
However, other applications (such as Word) can access and save items to this level, for example I can save a word doc on my phone as another drive of the word itself, although if I tried to slide anywhere in US it would be crushed before I could even see the phone was there.
My hunch is that it started with what seems to be a Windows Update absolutely unrelated to C++ security two days ago. But it could be a complete diversion.
Any ideas? I'm reaching the end of my tether here.

This problem may be due to one of the following problems:
- You are using an outdated or corrupted video driver
- System files on your PC can be damaged or do not correspond with other files
- You may have an infection of viruses or malware on your PC
- Some applications or services that are running on your computer may be responsible for Windows Explorer to stop working
Try the following steps:
Method 1:
Try the steps of error: Windows Explorer has stopped working
Note: the data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means there is a risk of data loss.
Important: the data available on bad sectors may be lost when chkdsk attempts to repair your hard drive.
Note:
Ignore them perform a upgrade in Place the link above.
Also ignore the safe mode and clean boot.
Method 2:
We will try to start the computer in mode low resolution and check the status of the issue.
Low resolution starts Windows using your current video driver, and using the parameters of frequency low resolution and refresh. You can use this mode to reset your display settings.
Refer to the section:
Turn on the video resolution (640 × 480)
You can also check: why is my screen black when I start Windows 7?
Registry warning: the following steps include changing the system registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click on the number below to view the article:

Hello
Sorry we don't communicate via this forum.
You need a real antivirus because these are the two antispyware. You have the PCtools antivirus
on the computer or just their toolbar in Internet Explorer?-------------------------------------------------
If there is no antivirus on the computer here is what I use and recommend (except for one
program like Prevx, you don't want more than one antivirus on the computer program
much less running because they interfere with each other and lower security). Each combination
of her below you will warn of malware without toolbar from PCtools running online. Here's what I use and recommend: (these are alll free and very effective versions.)

Avast - home - free - 5.x stop shields you do not use (except files, Web, network, &)
Shields of behavior) - double click on the icon in the Notification area - real time Orange - click on the
Shield that you want to stop - STOP. To stop the Orange icon to show an error indicator-

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.
-
You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type CMD in the search box, right-click on CMD. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.
-
Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To do that click on start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.
`
When you get your system in good working condition, I invite you to back up your system up to an external hard drive and make it regular periodic updates.

I hope this helps. Good luck.

Why you are posting in the forum, IE? Maybe the reason why you try to use the CP is to enter Internet Options? If so, you can do it without the help of Windows Explorer (at least on your operating system) starting (using the Task Manager if necessary): control.exe inetcpl.cpl
Otherwise what your problem probably means is that you have added something new to the root of the control panel which is not compatible with your OS, causing thus the Windows Explorer (not IE) crashing. In this case, the same way you could get in Add Remove programs without involving Windows Explorer by starting: control.exe appwiz.cpl
You can get help more informed by post on a forum that specializes in performance and Maintenance of your operating system.
Good luck

Internet Explorer has stopped working and causes windows close program Pavilion QU297AA #ABG
I have a HP Pavillion QU297AA #ABG running on Windows 7. Since the first day of installation I click the links and get the message
Internet Explorer has stopped working. A problem caused by the OTS program works correctly. Windows will close the program & warn you if a solution is available.
I know this isn't not my internet as my laptop when used on my connection Wireless at home I have this problem & no more than my previous desktop that I have improved. Also, I don't think I have a virus I have an antivirus AVG (the paid version) set up scan to run daily to detect problems. It's so frustrating can anyone offer a solution I have had this problem since I plugged in my new office building.
Hello
Please find the link given below might help you solve your problem.
Troubleshoot Internet Explorer
-
When I click on the address bar, I get a message that "internet explore has stopped working". After that it stops working, it reopens to my homepage. Sometimes it is OK, but usually, I need to go get put in a website and go that direction.
Hello
Try resetting Internet explorer.
From the below link you can use Microsoft fix it to reset IE.
-
Whenever I try to update, I get the message "windows Explorer has stopped working". It then seeks a solution, restarts, and immediately stops again. No error, just a constant circle of shutdown and startup code. This has happened for days. I am running windows 7.
I think that norton or mcafee may have been preinstalled as trial versions, but I've never actually used them. Unfortunately I can't use the windows Explorer, so I can't check if they are still there.
We will cover all the possibilities.
1. download each of the tools for deletion below, save it to your desktop:
Norton Removal Tool: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe
McAfee removal tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe
2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).
3. After completing some you have a copy of your handy product key, uninstall all software (including LiveUpdate and Add-ons of Norton) Norton through Control Panel | Programs | Uninstall a program (or Control Panel |) Programs and features, if you are using the classic view)
IMPORTANT! => Activate the Windows Firewall immediately after the restart.
IMPORTANT! => Now you're "working without a net": no to ANYTHING else online (e.g., navigation, reading e-mail, chat) until you have completed the steps #4, #5 and #6 below!
4. right click on one of the files that you saved in #1 above and select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.
5. Repeat step #4 for another removal tool.
Tips:
-Online use another computer to download the removal tool, if necessary, then transfer it to the computer via CD, DVD, or a USB brand new, never been used (flash drive), or a summer freshly updated in shape.
-Online start the problem in Mode safe computer, if necessary, proceed as above.
-Online after completing all of the above, uninstall AVG Free & reboot. Now do a new installation of AVG Free 9.0, this time select the CUSTOM installation option and do NOT install (uncheck) Linkscanner Search-Shield, Active Surf-Shield, security or the email of crawl components toolbar.

Programs like Windows and Internet Explorer explore the host of other programs. When the addon programs have a problem the explorers blame themselves because they are the host.To disable addons for Internet Explorer.First test IE without any addins loaded: start - programs - Accessories - System Tools - Internet Explore (No. Addons). In Internet Explorer, click on Tools in the bar commands, and then Internet Options and click the Advanced tab, and then click reset. To manage addons on an individual basis in Internet Explorer click on Tools button on control bar - Manage the Addons - Activate or disable Addons. -

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.
This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.
