    Hey, Clement,.

El Capitan cause strange behaviour, especially problems with older software. As you may know, CS5 is end of life and has not been tested on the latest operating systems like OS X 10.11. There is no warranty, so that it will work. That said, there are several things we can try.

First, El Capitan has caused some problems with the downloads due to its default security settings. Sometimes the questions like the one you experienced when you tried to download direct updates can be corrected by changing the settings temporarily.

    1. Go to the Apple icon in the menu bar and select "System Preferences."
    2. Click the "Security & Privacy" and make sure the "Général" tab is active.
    3. If the lock at the bottom of the menu is closed, click Unlock. You may be prompted to enter the password for your computer.
    4. Under "allow downloaded applications from" check the rocker next to "Anywhere".

Once you have made this change, try again to download the updates manually from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/. If you are able to apply updates, don't forget to reset your security settings to your preferred level, once you're done.

Still no luck? Let us know if you receive any kind of change in the error message or if it's exactly the same thing, and then we will continue accordingly.

  • not able to download via documents in content Server Manager.

I have running on another machine with weblogic as username admin Complutense University of MADRID.

I have JDeveloper and webcenter on my machine as the default domain.
created a simple application, but the link with the University Complutense of MADRID as a content server. I drag Manager document, provide the details of the connection and the way etc...

When you run this application in defaultdomain in my machine with weblogic as the admin user name.
I can see the files, folder in document Manager, but I'm trying to download files, it says that you do not have permission.
How do I remove the readonly access and get full access. Can I create a folder, files in the content server using loggin to it.

Please suggest how can I download files?

I will sugest create you security in your application and create the same user that you log in UCM to connect to your portal.

When you create a connection from the University Complutense of MADRID, you can choose if you want to propagate the credentials or based in external application, if you choose to propagate credentials the login of the Complutense University of MADRID will be the same as Portal login, you must create a user at startup.

If you choose the external application, you must create an external application for UCM passing the login of the Complutense University of MADRID and then sign in with the user of the Complutense University of MADRID.

If you don't want to do anything, you can create a folder in the records of contributions to the University Complutense of MADRID and give full access to the guest user.

  • Some, but not all, programs in CS6 Master Collection is more open, inviting the Adobe Application Manager

Here's my problem. I bought the CS 6 Master Collection when it came out. Everything was fine until recent months when some, but not all, programs won't open. When I run CS 6 Illustrator, Creative Cloud Adobe Application Manager opens. To renew your subscription? When I Subscription Manager, I said I have a free subscription to creative cloud. Agents chat Adobe told me that my creative cloud subscription is good.

What is strange, but I thank you, is that other programs, such as Photoshop CS6 and Dreamweaver CS6, open very well, without the detour over the impasse of Adobe Application Manager.

Through four chat sessions, I have been ordered to take various measures, which none have worked. The fuller was an uninstall of all Master CS6 Collection, run a cleaning of Adobe tool, then a reinstallation is complete. It took a while, but left me at the same place: Adobe Application Manager opens for 6, Illustrator CS, but CS 6 Dreamweaver and Photoshop 6 CS open very well.

After several tries, I somewhat lost a little confidence in agents chat for Adobe. Does anyone have a solution for this?

    Hello

I checked with your Adobe ID here on the forums, there was a creative cloud subscription that is now closed there ended in August 2014.

Uninstalling CS6 will not help you will need to remove the Creative cloud completely from your machine first.

After that reinstall CS6 from - applications download Creative Suite 6

    Please follow the steps; below

    MAC:

1 force quit Adobe all processes in the activity monitor (for example, CC, Core sync, the broker CC library, Office, Adobe, Adobe CPI, demon Adobe Crash etc..)

2-go to: Finder > Applications > utilities > Adobe installer > uninstall Adobe Creative cloud (if problems uninstall Trash)

3-go to: Finder > Applications > utilities > (delete these two folders - creative cloud Adobe and Adobe Application Manager)

    4. then run the cleanup tool to remove the clouds creative and Adobe Application Manager (if it remains in the machine)

5 right-click on the icon in the Finder, then select 'Go - To' folder.

    6. you will get a text box, type in the following command and then press 'return '. ("Not to be missed ~ symbol")

~/Library (it will open the folder of the user's library.)

    7. browse to the Application Support > Adobe > OOBE folder and folder AAM Updater so trash

    8. new > right-click on the icon in the Finder and select "go to" folder option. > you will get a text box, type in the following command, and then click 'Return' key. / Library (it will open the library system folder.)

    9. browse to the Application Support > Adobe > trash folder OOBE and Adobe Application Manager / after that, rename the SL-STORE like SL-STORE_OLD

Adobe 10 - run cleanup tool. > If so, select "Adobe Application Manager for Mac OS X 10.6 ' and then click on"Clean up selected. "

11 - click on the link below and download Creative Cloud Installer file and use them to install the creative Cloud Desktop application.

  • Acrobat Standard DC requires Adobe Application Manager, which does not install

  • Adobe Application Manager does not display that Acrobat Pro XI is installed when it was

Adobe Application Manager does not appear that Acrobat Pro XI is installed when it was installed by the Adobe Application Manager. I tried clicking on the button in the application manager Adobe who installs the program again and gives a key to launch the installation program. But the next time Adobe Application Manager starts, it said: Acrobat Pro XI is not installed, when it was installed (and working). I am a subscriber of creative cloud on the Mac (MacOS 10.8.3). platform Adobe Applicationa Manager is version 7.0.0.324.

How can I get Adobe Application Manager to show that the program Acrobat Pro XI is installed?

    Thoughts?

    -john

I tried the suggestion Greg_M #1 first - without success. Then tried the suggestion #2 of Arpit - also without success. However, I discovered that the uninstall program running in 'Applications-> Utilities-> Adobe Installers folder' had not removed the file Acrobat Pro XI (he was still in his file in the Applications). Finally, what worked manages the uninstall program that was in the folder ACROBAT PRO (NOT the utililites folder). When I ran the uninstaller program, I had also ticked the box in preferences to delete (not sure if that matters).

All is well now. When I run Adobe Application Manager it says correctly that Acrobat XI is "installed".

Greg and David thanks for your help/suggestions!
