  I got my Curve 9300 stolen last Sunday and immediately called my service provider to block the sim card and blacklist the phone.

  Now I have a new 9360 I used to restore contacts, etc. of the BB Desktop Software. I'm confused that I can still chat with my BBM contacts without changing the pin to the new code.

  Is it correct that I thought that the PIN was ONLY linked to the old phone?

  If you have restored a backup of your phone, it have restored to backup your BBM contacts. As part of the restore lists the process it would update your contacts with your new PIN.

• Contacts disappeared, but available in Messages?

  Late last fall, I realized that all my contacts disappeared from my iPhone 6. I had done a backup before a trip and all my music, photos, everything was still fine but I realized once I got to my destination that all contacts were missing in the Contacts menu when you click on the phone icon.

  Here's the confusing part - if I go to my Messages and open a new message, I can type the name of whoever I'm eager to get my hands on and their information displayed always up there, so of course, the coordinates are stored on my phone somewhere. So if I want to call them I just open a message, then click on their name to access their information and then to place a phone call. But of course, it is a roundabout way much more than just find in the Contacts menu.

  I don't know if I've changed a setting or done something when you back up my phone, or how it happened, but I hope someone here will know how can I restore the contacts on my Contacts page! I'm not sure if restoring from a previous backup will work as this happened if long ago and I don't want to ruin all my photos and music if I can avoid it.

  I saw an article online that suggested to create new contacts, based on the mail page, I can access the information there, but it would be a painful process. I can certainly do that if it's my only option, but I'm puzzled why the contacts do not appear in the mail and not in the Contacts menu.

  It seems that the contacts are hiding in iCloud and contacts for iCloud, on the device is off.

• I found a Visual bug using the latest Firefox and several add-ons, who do I contact to talk about?

  I would illustrate it rather using a screenshot that describing it. Anyway, I don't know what add-on, or a combination, but the first line under the 'View' menu bar element is empty, that's it - a minor problem. I do not know who to contact to display this glitch, is there anyone open to or interested by this feedback?

  We are interested, but you're going to have to help us. We are just a group of volunteers here balance our busy lives while offering support for Firefox. Since you already have all the addons installed, it will be much easier for you to understand who is the cause of this parasite.

  This is no easy task for us. If you are going to need know exactly what addon is causing this problem if you want to be just about that and give a decent chance to resolve this to the author of the addon.

  Since you have so many addons, I is advisable to disable at least 5 addons at once, restart Firefox and then check "Show" to see if the problem has disappeared. If Yes, then you need to focus your attention on individual activation & deactivation these 5 addons until you see the glitch to return. Then you know what addon to blame. I bet it's Menu Icons Plus or personal Menu.

• iCloud contacts do not sync on all devices

  can someone help me understand why iCloud contacts are not sync on all devices?  I confirmed that keep the changes via my macbook on the iCloud touch shows almost immediately changes on some devices, but not all.

  A comment interesting, devices do not receive the change are the same Member of the family.  so I can't assume it's a matter of iCloud.  I ran a backup restore on one of the devices affected with no resolution.

  I fear I am missing something so basic, but at this point, I am really puzzled.

  So all the machines in question are signed on the same iCloud account, and they have all Contacts enabled in settings > iCloud?

  If so, what is the level of iOS and the model of the device that is not synchronized? What is model level and iOS, other devices?

• IPHONE 5 problem with contacts

  Hello people... I'm puzzled. I asked this question a few days ago. Got a lot of answers THANK YOU ALL... nothing worked.

  Problem in short... CONTACTS iphone 5 release 9.2 (13 c, 75).

  I had the phone in 2014 and loaded with my CONTACTS. I used to 2015 at the beginning, then I do not have my OLD business contacts I did a montage.

  Everything was fine, until last week, I added all new personal and professional contacts.   Something's happened.  I don't know if the battery was low and it may be off. I rebooted and powered. MY CONTACT list came BACK TO APRIL 2014. My OLD contacts. and each of them is in DUPLICATE. I now 204 contacts. I think that before I could have 100 or more.  Have I badly synchronized with an old file from the computer? OR?  HELP > thanks Chris

• Google Contacts deleted on Google do not remove pre

  Hi all

  I'm pretty impressed with the pre. I have a problem nagging here, and I hope that someone has faced the front.

  Almost all my pre contacts come from google/gmail. When I update a contact on the Meadow, or via the interface of gmail (web), they are properly replicated. When I delete a contact from the pre, it is correctly deleted out of my gmail (web) interface.

  On the other hand, when I delete a contact from gmail via the web on a standard computer, it NEVER gets deleted on my pre.

  It's kind of a pain because you go through your contacts, trying to weed out the old/irrelevent ones, it is easier to do via the web interface of google on the pre.

  I contacted Palm support and they seem puzzled ("should work" etc.)

  Thanks, I actually tried to remove and re-add my gmail account... seemed to fix my problem for a couple syncs, but then stopped the synchronization again... pending the results of your trouble ticket...

• Could not import the vcf for Contacts - Win 7

  I have a vcf file created from 3 Samsung Galaxy s.  I want to import the file into the contacts list on Win 7 (C:\Users\920040000XX7\Contacts).  I can open the vcf well, and each contact record opens in a separate dialog box that I have to "approve" and it is added to the list of the contast folder.  However, to halfway through this tedious process an error message: "Application of error in Importer DLL C:\program files\Windows Mail\wabimp.dll.

  The error does not appear in the same place in the list whenever I try to import the vcf file.  I'm puzzled.  Why is the application error that happens and how to fix or work around this problem?

  I don't know why this fault arises with your "portmanteau" VCF file There is no doubt that Contacts Windows expects the VCF files only contact, but the fact that your file is partially read indicates wab.exe knows a little how to handle.

  You may have better luck using this excellent small online utility that can convert your VCF file of multi-entry to a CSV file, ready to be used elsewhere: vCard, LDIF/CSV Converter

  I was wondering how I could allow users to see what their friends scored on a game app. Is there access to a list of contacts?

  Take a step away, just a possibility, I think about everything, but is there a way for users to share created contained with friends? that is, the app allows you to design a level puzzle or something and you could send just a small data file to a friend to download their application, so that they can now play the level of their designed friend.   at the present time, we cannot access data privacy of the device such as contacts. hope that this feature will be available very soon. That being said, you can create and manage your own contact list using any sort of data storage (e.g., SQLLite, storing files, ShareObject, etc.). Once you have that you can store the names of emails and such, and your application can access these data.

  Now from what I recall AS3 has not built in order to send an email directly from him. Better to use an online method as mentioned by willyyr in the post above me. Use the URL Loader object and send a request to your website or a website form mailer. Your idea of emailing the file, however, can be a little difficult because this would imply creating an attachment you will need to attach it to an email. an easier option would be to have a Web site where you store a central database of cards created by the user and the content. As mentioned before, you can send these cards and content to your Web site by using the URLLoader object.

  All that would require that you have a server configured to be able to handle such requests. It can be any host or domain as long as you have access and are able to create scripts with a language online such as PHP, ASP, Java, etc.

  P = 2 second pauses

  In the last part of the entry (xyzab), they are all the numbers and have several 0 in the entry.

  When I look at the entry in the contacts, it is showing correctly.

  When I call the contact, 0 are ignored and no-0 entries are sent.

  Does anyone have any ideas on how to correct this problem and get all the numbers to send?

  I tried to be recessed to the part of the problem of registration to (), but that has not solved the problem.

  I took the phone to a local Verizon and puzzled the personal store.

• BlackBerry Smartphones enhancement request: ability to ring 'default' by type of notification on alert Contact

  I love my new 9700 but I have enormous frustration and looking at the comments of others that I met today it seems I'm not the only one.

  My problem is with the 'new' added when you set up an alert to Contact. I've been using a curve and the only option was a ringtone custom for phone calls, now when I activate a Contact have a custom it alert automatically grabs all types of message, it is a huge problem for me.

  I like the feature, but the implementation goes against productive as it is designed.

  First of all, messages must be detailed by type as they are under profiles, you must each defined Messaging service, as well as mms, PIN, sms.

  Second, each of these categories need to be able to set the tone by default profile, just as every other parameter in the contact alert can be defined in the default profile.

  Is a huge control and puzzle for me because I have forwarding rules on our BES that takes some emails depending on the subject and students at priority level 1, but now I hear is more my level 1 ringtone, it's completely productive contrary to one of the best features of the Blackberry, the ability to filter and change the emails through the rules!

  You can set a distinctive ring for this contact, the ringing of messages, so your custom phone ringing is not the same thing as ring customized to the messages of the same contact.

  Forum greetings... I've always had a lot of help here with my "BOLD" and cutting with a torch comes with a new set of problems. million thanks for all those who have helped before and all that tried and took there time to read this post and many others.

  I am with a carrier called Etisalat Egypt, 2 days ago, I found a retailer that sells at & t phones claiming his open, so I said what marked the hell I'll try my SIM etisalat Egypt and if I get a "invalid sim card" then its coastline... .and if it worked then I would buy it, and I turned on with my SIM inside he agreed and I saw the name of the carrier on top as a normal device tried a few calls and they crossed flawless... .He never asked me for a "network MEP code" or any other kind I thought open sound and bought.

  next day I called the carrier my and activated my unlimited plan BIS, I sent my self a pin to ensure message than the active service and I received it, also, I've added a few contacts to my BBM and we chated am so that the service is online... .but then I tried to launch the browser and it shows a message "no browser configuration contact service provider to send service directories.

  and that's where the puzzler... .my service provider claims (Etisalat Egypt) that this vendor id (102) does not work with their network and all related services BIS should not and won't work!

  and since it is Egypt I feel that they don't know what they're talking about to because I have already established that the BIS service works and BBM and PIN messaging is functional and that the question is associated with service book... BUT THE CARRIER IN SUCH A COUNTRY DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS A SERVICE BOOK ENTRY!

  I'm sure that if there's someone who could shed some light on what is happening on its going to be here in the forums.

  Stand-by for weighing to detailed non-automatique operation because I don't have the camera on me right now.

  never mind I got it working here is how:

  First, I put my sim card data plan in my BB Torch and added my emails and registed in a network in my case Etisalat. Then I took the torch and put it in a different BB that I used my 9000 "BOLD" where can I use my data sim card. I waited for 6 minutes and waited until I was able to use the browser on my BB Flip, then I went to Options, advanced options and Table of host routing, then you press the key menu, one with bb sign little and pressed register now. After that I got the message saying: I was enrolled in a wireless network, I went to Options, books Service, and inside this folder, I pressed and held ALT while I typed the letters sbeb Yes sbeb it you should see legacy SB restore active just press ok and then connect to Desktop Manager and back up only the service books , you can choose what you want to return to the top in the custom settings just select the Service books and write browser configs for torch so that you know than to use.

  Then, I took the sim card from my BB "BOLD" and put in my flashlight, once the lit torch, I went to Options, device, Service books and in the folder I typed again all by pressing ALT sbeb like I did before and press ok. Then connected the torch to the Desktop Manager and restored the file that you create with the configs of browser name for my flashlight, then I turned off the torch and when I turned now, here, I could use my browser.

• BlackBerry & Smartphones Photos Contact names ceased to show (9650)

  Hello:

  Earlier, I added photos contact to all my BBerry Contacts.  It worked perfectly for quite a while.

  But the last 2 weeks (or more), when I get a call I get no resources and no contact photo.  Just the number, which, if I don't recognize, I'm going to ignore.

  (The reason why I have the names and photos is so I don't have to memorize numbers.  )

  The contact photos are always in my contacts list, so nothing happened to them.  And ss as much as I know I haven't added new applications.  So I'm puzzled as to why they would suddenly stop showing when I get a call.

  Anyone know how I can make them work properly?

  I would recommend to check if you have encryption enabled on the BlackBerry smartphone or press card. Go to the Options-Security Options. If it is enabled, disable it and try again then take out the battery.
