I'm unable to connect my smart fone of samsung Galaxy S2 to Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. Please suggest a work around

Well, I have a problem with my Galaxy S2 with laptop (Windows 7 Professional 64 bit).
It gives the following error.

"Device driver software was not installed successfully.
MTP USB device failed"
When tried to install the driver manually, the detailed error was code 19 error with the registry entry. Yes I tried to delete the registry entry corresponding to the DPW Samsung device, it didn't always work

It worked very well in another Windows 7 machine.

Please suggest how to minimize this problem.

NB: My fone running Android Ice Cream Sandwich

Galaxy S2, comes with Samsung's Kies software.

Install the Kies software on the software cd you need to have received when you purchased the galaxy s2.

or download the latest kies from Samsung Web site. (http://www.samsung.com/us/kies/)

Once installed, open the Kies application and connect your galaxy s2 to the laptop.

  • DesignJet 600 Plotter connected to Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. Will it work? HP says sales will not work.

I have an old Designjet 600 Plotter (model C2848A).  I have it connected to several new computers over the years with great success (using different OS, Win 95, 98, etc.  It still works very well with windows XP.  Now, I have three new stations using Windows 7 Professional 64-bit.  Sales of HP told me this plotter will no longer work with Windows 7 (and want to sell me a new tracer).  I find that hard to believe.  Does anyone have experience with this?  I was going to try to buy a 36 parallel PIN to USB connection and just plug in on my new PC.  But HP said that it does not work so I have not tried.  I guess I would need a driver to work properly.  Any suggestions?

For 64-bit systems, you can Download the XP x 64 drivers from here, then unzip the files into a new folder.  Then go to the file devices and printers, add a printer, select the appropriate port, and then select "Have disc" and point to the folder where you unzipped the files.

USB to parallel converters can be problematic.  If you get a course it is supported on Windows 7 x 64.  The models in the posts here have been identified to work with W7 x 64

I don't know if the Designjet 600 has a slot for an optional jetdirect card, if so it might be a better option.  I picked up a jetdirect card suitable for my Designjet 650 c on eBay for less than $15 (shipping included) and have it running on the network here.

  • Unable to connect my iPhone hotspot 5S for my computer in Windows 8.

My iphone 5 s personal hotspot (wifi) can not connect to my computer laptop under windows 8 System. I bring my iphone & lap top to Apple Service Center. Apple take my iphone to connect another laptop or a PC with windows XP is no problem, cannot connect to wifi. After Apple said that is Windows 8 can not confrigration with the iphone. Ask me to contact Microsoft. Help, please.

My version of the software: iOS 7.1.2 iPhone5 and Win 8.1 on Lenovo

Today I feel like a genius. I've been struggling with this problem for over 4 months and none of the forums on MS or Apple have this properly resolved. The resolution I found is quite simple and stupid:

On your iPhone, go to settings-> General-> about-> name

Make sure the name of your phone is not a single word with number of the apostrophe or special characters. Make sure NO SPACES.

If you change the name on the phone, just disable the personal Hotspot and turn it back on. Go to your laptop and now connect to the Hotspot IPhone with the new name.

I wonder why Win8.1 is unable to use a device name that includes spaces. It is pretty stupid IMHO.

  • Unable to connect to my new router cable, my XP and Windows 7 machines

Vista, wireless router Netgear, no link, please help

No matter what I try, I can't connect to my new router cable, my XP and Windows 7 machines work fine but the Vista laptop are it. Have searched the web, looked at this site and the forums, but nothing does not jump and helps me solve the problem. I use a HP Pavilion DV9000 laptop, all service packs updates and so forth... any ideas?

I suggest that you contact your ISP and get their help in setting up the Vista machine so it connects properly.  They know the right settings for the access provider, while we do not have and that there may be something else you need to do with Vista which is different of the other two systems (and hopefullly the ISP will also know and be able to talk you through the process).  I call my ISP all the time and they are VERY useful and have ALWAYS resolved any problems, I called (even if sometimes he had a visit from a technician).

If the ISP Can ' t/don't/can't help you, then after coming back here and we'll try to go through it step by step, even if we cannot have all the information we need.  But I am sure that they will be able to help you more quickly and more effectively and with greater chances of success.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • Unable to connect to the internet after the system restore and Windows Installer (Vista)

    Hello

I have recently restored the whole system on the HP to my sister a virus that I was unable to remove it manually.
The system restore went well until it has reached the point where he was going to reinstall Windows. The computer just turned itself off and the software installation was not complete. I am able to reinstall again. I must therefore hold the CTRL + alt + delete, go to Task Manager, click on audit.exe and complete the process to turn on the computer. But I can't do anything with it in safe mode. The main problem is: I can't connect to the internet! Even if the network discovery is on it will not find my wireless network. What can I do on the internet? And is it possible to install Windows again without the CD?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    ·        You are able to boot to the desktop in normal mode? If this isn't the case, then you get any code or message?

    ·        How did you did system restore?

    ·        Are you referring to the system recovery using the recovery partition or the drive?

I suggest that you start in safe mode with network and check if you can access the internet?

  • Pavilion 14-ab051tx N4G24PA: unable to connect to any wireless network after the upgrade to Windows 10

I recently bought a 14-ab-51tx Pavilion N4G24PA, this is my first laptop from HP, it comes with Windows already installed 8.1 and it worked fine.

The thing is, I kind of get used to using Windows 10 on my previous laptop, so without further hesitation I upgraded to 64-bit Windows 10.

    Here's what I did wrong:

Instead of update Windows 8.1 for Windows 10, I indeliberately he installed fresh, with couple of mouse clicks, I didn't realize that I also remove the recovery partition.

I realized only after the installation process is complete, but then it was too late. I look forward to using my laptop with Windows 10 freshly installed inside to make some games just noticed that I couldn't connect to any network without wire, House or public. It recognizes my wifi at home, but the signal bar is bizarre, there is only 1 bar of signal even if the wireless router is only about 10 feet from him, so I checked my other computers and smartphones, but the signal on them is ridiculously high (full bar), it also detects another wireless network that are further away than my wireless router.

But back to my HP laptop, I tried to connect to my home network despite the signal bar with the right entry security key, but it does not connect, it says "Cannot connect to the network".

Tried updating drivers with HP Support Assistant and no luck, the problem persists, tried all the solution on the internet, int ip reset, reset winsock, checking and unchecking, always without success.

    Can someone help me please...

    Hello:

The BOM indicates that your laptop comes with a Broadcom wireless card.

Have you tried the last W10 driver for this card to support your PC and driver page?

This package contains the Broadcom Wireless LAN drivers for the laptop models running a supported operating system. Broadcom wireless LAN drivers are required to activate the built-in Broadcom wireless LAN adapter.

You must install the necessary drivers.
For internet connection, you will need to install the LAN and WLan driver.
To get the best display resolution install display driver

  • Unable to connect to the internet with the NETWORK card and Windows Millennium Edition.

    Hello

I turned on my old computer yesterday, who has installed Windows Millennium Edition. At the back of the computer is an Ethernet port which is marked as LIEN ACT. The NIC with this port is Realtek 8139 PCI Fast Internet Adapter. I spend two hours on the Internet configuration and I did and finally got connected, but then, a few hours after, something went wrong and the Internet and the NETWORK card has stopped working! And the card has disappeared from the Device Manager, but he's still showing in network in Control Panel. I opened the computer and I reconnected it to the slot, but it did not help. At the back of the computer next to this port are two LEDs - green indicates the power that lights up when I plug the Internet cable and the other orange indicates actual connection. But now these two LEDs are not indicating something even when I plugged in the cable to the Internet, which comes from my router. In the computer a Dial Up connection PCI is installed too, but I disabled it. I used Dial-Up in 2002. So, I need help.
But I know that I can connect with this Ethernet card to the Internet because it worked for 3 hours, I've loaded the pages and downloaded programs.
Please don't point, should I upgrade Windows!
    Thank you.

    Hi friend,
You can try a Bing search on connectivity to Win ME, I don't know there are still a few old sites that are not taken down you will find a few FAQ on.
I saw not a ME machine in too many years to count!
    Good luck on your adventure.
