I'm unable to open documents on my mac iCloud drive
I'm having a problem where I am unable to open documents stored in iCloud drive on my MacBook Pro. I already could solve this problem of disconnection and return in my iCloud desktop account. This step doesn't work anymore. When I try to open any file stored in iCloud, I get a message saying "the file _ could not be opened."
Example: I opened the Pages. When I try to open a file through this program, it will not be open. If I try to open the file in the Finder, the same result happens. This applies to the files of numbers and .pdf files.

Looks like you are having some problems at the opening of documents stored in iCloud drive. If you do not already done, please go to iCloud.com and connect see if you are able to open the files there. If you are able to open the documents there, the next step would be to start the MacBook Pro in Mode safe and see if you can open documents from your iCloud drive it. A time tested, and then restart the MacBook Pro and try to access the iCloud drive as you normally would.

The error means either that the document no longer is located in the folder it was when it was finally opened or the location that the file was initially located in is no longer in the same place.
Example 1: I open a document in the My Documents folder, then after closing the document, I moved manually the file to the desktop.
Example2: I open a document located on a removable hard drive. After the closure of the paper, I then disconnect the removable hard drive of the PC.
In these two examples, Windows would be able to find the Document using the "Recent Documents" list
Step 1: I recommend that you check the trash or see if the document is located on a removable hard drive (or USB key) that is is more attached to the computer.
Step 2: Use recovery software of the third party to recover the document.

I use Acrobat DC and I'm unable to open a PDF file on a Web site. Whenever I click the link it says that my drive is not updated. I've updated the player several times now and it always used open. Other documents open on this Web site. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1344E.pdf
It is an XFA file that is not detected by the PDF viewers in the web browser.
Please right click on this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM1344E.pdf & select ' Save As... ', now, to save the PDF file to your desktop & open with Adobe Reader.
I'm sure that it will work as it worked on my end.

MacBook air crashes, I'm unable to open all the applications but Safari. I can still access the app store to download some antivirus software. I downloaded AVG hoping it might cure the problem, unfortunately it made it worse. I got this macbook for about 3 years and I have not had problems. I recently opened safari on another user and he came with a message saying that you have now received a virus. I don't know what to do, or how I can fix this problem. The office is constantly freezing as well, I'm out of options!
Determine if you can start up your Mac in 'safe' Mode. Read how here: OS X El Capitan: safe mode. If you find that the document confusing or difficult to follow, please write back for instructions.
After you have determined how your Mac works in 'Safe' Mode, restart normally.
Regarding your other concerns:

Unable to open external drive XLSX files

I have a macbook El Capitan having installed Office 365, with the latest version of excel running. Recently, I have been unable to open excel (.xlsx) files from my external hard drive because it gives me a message stating that it is corrupt and offering a repair option - which also fails. I can however;
-Open the same file on a windows PC 10
-Open the file in numbers
-Open any other file on the hard drive (document images, PDFs, Word etc.) in native mode without any problem
-C' is essential, I can copy the file to the desktop and it opens in Excel without any problem.
I am at a loss of what it might be.

It seems that there is a problem with the Mac from Microsoft Excel version, opening files from an external drive. Looks like a Microsoft problem that should be reported to them.

Cannot open documents CS3, I created previously with CS3
I have InDesign CS3, said 3.0.1 when it first opened. I used it for several years, but not for about 4 months. Suddenly I'm unable to open previous projects, that I created with this program. I have an error of the same content manager as if I was trying to open a document in CS3 with CS2 - update your plug-ins or download the new version. If I click on configure plugins, everything seems fine. If I click on update, it says that there is nothing to update.
