Satellite A200 - power outage

As to buy an A200 laptop last year burned three adapters Toshiba provided, it has been referred to Toshiba for repair but they insist that the fault was with the adapters. It has been six weeks since the 'repair' now, this one blew as well. I contacted Toshiba who to be honest could cared less offering just another collection of repair or another PSU (which will probably last a few weeks).
I tried to be reasonable with them, because it is obvious even to me that the laptop has a fault for which they are unable to diagnose, but they refuse to replace the unit or act takes responsibility what so ever for the problem he has had since just after the purchase.

I can't afford to continue to send it back for repair or waiting for new adapters happen because it's mainly my phone son and he is a student of special needs at home, there only 6 hours a week tutoring and skills handwriting are inhibited the laptop is essential if it wants to follow.

My questions are:

1 everybody knows this problem
2 has anyone else had a similar experience with the customer service
3 all opinions on the question of whether I should cut my losses and buy her something more reliable account of the situation.

I think you should just contact the ASP and take the new adapter.

    I m not quite sure what could be the reasons for this problem but as far as I know, you can assign the different parameters of basic installation of Power Saver, which could affect the performance of the laptops.
    For example; Control method of the CPU, the processing speed of the CPU, cooling method.

    Please check what power profile was chosen after that the AC adapter is plugged in and if necessary modify some parameters mentioned above.

    I have a satellite A200 age of 5 years.

    First, remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter.

    I just bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A200 23W a few hours ago.

    After the installation of Vista finishing it asket to resturn laptop and from that moment, the laptop is "dead".
    After pressing on restart the computer (from Vista) computer turns off without problem, but he never did it again!
    After a few minutes of waiting, I tried to start it by pressing the power button.

    Now when I press the power button, I can hear the HDD work and most of the time until I see something on the screen of the laptop computer stops!
    Now, I noticed that both the battery indicator AND the DC IN light are hot flushing and stop Flash at times.
