  I am having trouble doing something that seems very basic. I can't set up my microphone to record in the hearing. I am a total newbie to any form of sound recording and don't know anything about. I'm going to be as specific as possible to help someone help me.

  I recently bought a microphone condenser Neewer NW-700. I have it running in a mixer Behringer Xenyx 802 via XLR to 2.5 mm (with a 3.5 mm adapter). Mixer does not have a USB connection so I ran it on my computer (Macbook Pro running OS X El Capitan 10.11.3 at the end of 2011) through a Behringer U-Control UCA222 USB Audio Adapter RCA.

  I went into Preferences > hardware Audio selected USB Audio CODEC for my default entry and exit and did the same thing in the settings of the sound of my Mac.

  When I went to Audition for record, the wave was flat and I could not hear everything that comes out of the speakers. I went to the Audio devices page on my Audio Setup and lunch where I was able to adjust the volume of Audio Out but not Audio In.

  This is as far as I'm away. I've been Google searching for about a week now and nothing has worked. I'm not sure it's a computer problem, a hardware problem or a hearing problem -as I said, I don't know anything about this kind of stuff.

  I just googled your microphone and ryclark is spot on.   The XLR Plug to 3.5 mm cable included with microphone is completely useless - there are several videos that appeared on my taling research on this subject.

  You need an XLR - f for XLR - M cable to connect on your mixer, turn on the Phantom, follow-up instructions that I proposed above.

  I also write a letter to Neewer asking a discount because they provide a cable can possibly use.

  After recently to buy a NW-700 Neewer and set up, I plugged it on my which seems to me to be a model 2012 or 2013 the Mac Book Pro, only to see that he has been received as headphones and tab out of my sound preferences. I don't think that there is something wrong with the microphone as I had also bought and hooked to a phantom power source. After you pass the cables through the power source, I plugged my card TRS in a TRS FosPower additional to the PLUG adapter, knowing that Mac does not accept audio TRS jacks. And then after all that, I plugged this card into my computer which was accepted as a helmet instead of a microphone.

  I have a theory, that the FosPower adapter converts only the input signals and the computer then thought of as a helmet. What do you think?

  I understand that you are having trouble to get your microphone Neewer NW-700 to be recognized as a device on your MacBook Pro.  If the TRS FosPower to adapter PLUG does not work for you, have you tried using an audio interface with standard XLR connections for your audio configuration?    Which application you use on your Mac?  No matter what settings are you using in the Mac system preferences should also be done in the settings of the audio application as well.  I will include information for GarageBand below for your reference.

  I found the Web site of the manufacturer of your product and enter the SKU for the microphone Support page, but they do not have a manual available at the moment.  So, if using an interface standard audio does not resolve the problem, you will need to contact Neewer for more information.

  Plug in a microphone

  You can connect a microphone to your computer to record your voice, an acoustic instrument or any other sound on an audio track in GarageBand. You can connect a microphone to the port of audio input of your computer, a USB port, or, for better audio, an audio interface connected to a FireWire or USB port on your computer. You can also use your computer's built-in microphone to record sound.

  After you connect a microphone, you choose the input source for the range that you want to save in, and then turn eventually followed. Monitoring allows you to hear you play so you can hear the part you want to record as well as the rest of the project.

  Connect a microphone to your computer

  Do one of the following:

  • If you use your computer's built-in microphone, select the Microphone as the source of entry into GarageBand > Preferences > Audio > devices.

  • Plug the microphone on your computer audio input port (if she has a), then choose integrated input as input source of the track.

    

• Connect a USB microphone to a USB port on your computer. Choose the USB microphone as input source of the track.

     If the integrated entry does not appear in the menu, choose GarageBand > Preferences, click Audio / MIDI, then choose enter integrated in the context menu of the Audio input.

   • If you use a microphone connected to a USB port, select the microphone.

   • If you use a microphone connected to an audio interface, choose the number of the channel for the microphone.

     If channels audio interface do not appear in the menu, choose GarageBand > Preferences, click Audio / MIDI, then choose the audio interface in the context menu of the Audio input.

   Make sure the format matches the microphone or instrument. Choose a mono for monophonic instruments (with a single channel), then a stereo input to stereo devices (with a pair of channels).

4. Drag the recording level slider to change the level of input to the sound source volume.

   If the recording level slider is dimmed, you cannot change the volume of entry in GarageBand. In this case, use the volume control on the unit.

  I have a Mac book Pro with the retina display running on OS X version 10.9.4. and I can't get to run mini-Bridge.  Adobe tells me everything first the problem was with Apple, I contacted Apple and the problem was not with them.  Adobe told me that the problem was with my ISP and passwords and firewalls on my internet connection, check with Rogers and no problem.  Now I am told by Adobe, this problem is with Concierge (Adobe's owner).

  I tried all that on the FAQ page to fix the problem and I also spent days on the phone with Adobe.  They had uninstall me and reinstall all my programs Adobe several times and I have spent hours on the phone trying all kinds of "corrections."  Adobe told me three times that they have intensified this problem at the highest level of technical support and I still have no resolution. We (me and Adobe) have been at this for well over a month now and he got well, now, Adobe is not still remember more.

  The reason why I have so need this problem is, as I explained to Adobe, I'm night school (now) for Photoshop and I need mini-Bridge classroom.  I hope that someone else out there there was this problem and knows what the fix is because I have no options open to me this time.  When Photoshop is launched and I clicked mini-Bridge, I see expected Bridge CS6... Nothing happens more, Photoshop is version X 64 13.0.6.  I stayed at home the past that repeatedly Adobe said they would call and nobody called, it gets expensive to work.

  I got my Mac book Pro for Christmas 2013 and initially had no problem printing wireless to my HP Envy 110F, but for some reason, I keep getting problems with printing to the envy of 110. We don't have printing problems with our Ipad for this printer.

  I can connect the printer to my Mac book Pro by putting 192.168.1.72 IP address in a web browser, but I get on the symbol bit offline when I print the urge. Last night I reinstalled the printer to print wireless on my mac pro book using a printer cable, which then worked well, but today the same problem reappeared.

  I'm starting to think that the problem may have started with the latest version of the update of the operating system to the Mavericks 10.9.4.

  Since you are able to print from the iPad to the wireless printer, I suspect you have to something. I think that the question has something to do with the communication between the printer and the computer and not between the printer and the router. Please use the following document to solve the problem; "Printer is off-line" Message appears on the computer and the printer does not print: Mac OS X.

  If the problem persists, do not give up hope, let me know and we will work through it together.
