  Please click on the first " Finder " icon on the dock (toolbar below) on your screen, in the left panel, you will see an option, click on 'Applications' on it.

  Under the present, you should be able to see Lightroom if it is properly installed.

  The usual policy of Adobe in the past, it's that if you buy a version of Lightroom and within 30 days a new version comes out, they will give you a free upgrade. The problem is Adobe never pre announcement when the new version comes out. (And of course, Adobe could announce a different strategy for Lightroom 6)

  Personally, I would install just without turning off. Worst thing that will l be happen you will need to disable a. Does not mean that you must uninstall just disable and when you need it, just disable one of the other and activate the current.
