  I looked for the program in the start menu and windows Explorer. only place I found it was in the region of uninstaller in the control panel. In my view, what could of happened is it could have been deleted and sent to the trash to recycle but it has never been uninstalled.   Was what progran? It's a stand-a-alone program or something that runs in another
  program as an add-in for IE or MS Office program?

  Start - type is to search for the name of the program and then look at the top of the list. If then there
  Tab right click - Properties - shortcuts will show where it is. Double-click on the program to
  the top of the list to run it.

  In addition to programs in other folders as user name most likely C:\User\Your is documents or
  downloads. It could be anywhere but.

  It is also possible that he was moving to your TEMP folders and it has since been removed and it must be
  re-installed.

  Read online somewhere that there is a program of "Windows Easy Transfer" of the program, which was set up to manage the transfer programs/files from a pc to another.  My challenge going on my desktop XP files/programs to a new laptop to Windows 8.   From now on...   If that you cut is not available to paste, you're out of luck. It's is not just about anywhere you can get it from. You will need to go back in the premodifie file.

  Looks like you have made incorrect changes in system configuration utility.
