  I use Adobe 10 and I am trying to copy a PDF file that contains an image and then paste into excel. However, I want to choose only a part of the image and not the whole of the PDF document. When I do, and I tried all the options available, that it will stick to all of the data associated with the image in 1 column in excel. What I want, is to paste only the part I selected and copied into Excel as an "image." This used to work in an earlier version of Adobe, but I can't understand the do in 10.

  You probably want the instant tool that is not installed by default in Acrobat X (don't ask me why).

  To put it in your toolbar, right click on your toolbar. Select Edition > take a snapshot.

• CTRL C and CTRL V (copy and paste does not) in excel

  Today, we had a unqiue request saying a user is unable to use CTRL C and CTRL V (copy and paste does not) in excel after installing the smartview. However, he is able to paste using the Edit-> Option paste.
  
  Ago also much excellent leaves open while the user is facing this problem with some of them having Macros enabled.
  
  Is expereinced bythe user mainly due to multiple excel question, or is it a problem with the excel user settings.
  
  Please let me know the solution or workaround for the problem expereinced.
  
  Its 9.3.1 Hyperion Essbase with MS office 2007 version.

  The solution is to create or change an existing excel shortcut to start Excel with the /s switch:
  Excel.exe/s

• Dreamweaver cs5 change copy and paste does not work

  Dreamweaver cs5 Edition copy and paste does not work,

  So Windows 7 SP1. I tried to rename the follder config and start again and it does not work.

  Problem is when I select a file from windows Explorer, then go to Dreamweaver, choose the destination folder and editing/paste is disable, reverse operation is the same, selecting file in dreamweaver, editing/copy, go to the folder of windows Explorer and paste doesn´t work too. Anyone have the solution? (Sorry my English)

  My copy of DW also works as you describe, I think it's just "the way that it is" in DW.

  To copy a file from another location on your computer to your site, copy it from the original location and paste it into the site folder within windows Explorer (do not use DW at all).

  You can also drag a file from your desktop to your files window in DW to make a copy.

  Try to copy and paste from the Edit menu or the command bar to see if it could be your keyboard and your mouse.

• Problem with copying and pasting the bottom like a layer

  I use Photoshop elements 14.  I used the Polygonal Lasso to select part of an image and to turn off the Cup in a new layer.  I opened the image I want to use as the background to place the cutting on.  I select all and then copy and paste it into the file with the cutting.  What appears as a layer of this background in cutting a file image is a tiny part of the original image.  For example, the original image is a photo of the entire landscape and all that glue in the bottom layer is a small part of the sky.  I changed the resolution of the original background photo and the file with the cutting at the same resolution and that did not help.  How can I get the whole background photo to appear as a layer of the file cut on the Photo?

  If I understand your problem, using this example, I selected the background flower later and placed on a new layer, layer 1. Then I selected the field of the whole flower to another image and and copy/pasted on layer 2. The problem is not so much the resolution of 2 photos but rather their pixel dimensions. In this example, the dimensions of the field of flowers were much smaller than the image of the close-up.

  Perhaps it would be easier to pick the flower of the image enlarged and paste the selection in the field of flower photo. Then, you can resize and reposition the flower according to the needs:

• Sequence with copy and paste data

  My effect plugin implements the sequence data to save and retrieve a string like the PathMaster example. Indeed, the code is pretty much cut and paste from this example. Everything works fine for the backup and the opening of a file, but when by copying and pasting the effect, it seems I'm getting data corrupted for the flattened sequence data. I see that AE deploys the following calls in the order:

  PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_FLATTEN

  PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP

  PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP

  PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP

  It's on the third PF_Cmd_SEQUENCE_RESETUP that the sequence_data is not correct. I've seen similar to this issue positions, but it was never answered.

  I realized that it was. My data structure was not correctly sorted. The sequence data must be structure so that your unflatten/flattened flag arrived until all data needed as pointers for flattening when RECONFIGURE them gets called he can ride correctly and can detect if the sequence data is flat or not. Previously, my data structure was as follows:

  And it should be like this:

  Which makes me wonder if the unflat data get past to RECONFIGURE an error must be returned or simply do nothing?

• Need help with sizing and save files in batches

  Hi need help with a project.

  I have thousands of vector files that I need size of 350px X 350px, and then place it on a work plan x 600px-600px.

  Then I need to save it to the web as a PNG with a transparent background.

  Could I do a script for? or is there another way to do it in batches?

  I wouldn't have to open them one by one and resize the work plan then the image and save it one by one as that would take forever.
