• MacBook Pro won't feed - need to disconnect/reconnect the battery.

  I have a 'early 2011' MacBook Pro 17 "which does not illuminate when the power switch is pressed.    He worked normally in the last time it was used.

  12. Back in the connected battery system board connector.
  13. Joint a/c adapter and the system performed a reset, then IPL upward and ran normally.
  14. System "Shut down" and then press the power button - would not be back.
  15. Removed the a/c adapter and pressed the power button - still wouldn't back off.
  16. Disconnected a/c adapter, disconnected the battery, battery reconnected to the system board.  Power button - will not turn on.
  17. Repeat the procedure which worked previously - a/c offline, disconnected battery system board, connected a/c, press button power (no signs of activity), disconnected a/c, battery reconnected to the governing body of the system, reconnected a/c and it reset and power!
  18. Let system and then "reset" (instead of closing) - it restarts correctly.
  19. Shut down the system and then I tried to power - will not turn on.
  20. Bottom line: it seems that the procedure which will get the system starts, after it is closed: disconnected a/c, disconnecting the battery system board, connected a/c, press power button (no signs of activity), disconnected a/c, reconnected battery to the system board, reconnected a/c and it resets and starts.

  OK, so you MacBook Pro experts out there... what seems to be the problem and what measures would you recommend I take?

  Apparanlty is a global settings and get a call, no matter if client Skype or number, will get on.

  I had the same problem. I tried to install Skype several times with the same result. Then I went to the start page, held my pen on the tile of Skype until the options menu. An option has been uninstall - I did. Then, I went on the site of Skype and downloaded the Skype Setup file. Once downloaded, I double clicked and was able to install Skype.

• Skype crashing whenever I start it.

  After that I updated to Skype to the newest one, it crashes whenever I start it. I tried to look for further discussions on this forum and tried like 50 different things (IE cleaning, decommissioning, IE, etc etc) now the problem is, Skype 6.14 works fine for me, but in general, the next time I start my PC it auto updated Skype 7.0.0.102 and it works fine, does not crash but my MAIN problem is I can't join some calls because it says I need to put updated my Skype. How in the world I am supposed to "update" my Skype and use it when I can't even it starts without it crashing?   Start > Search > cmd > righclick cmd run as admin > sfc/scannow (leave running until the end and hope that all errors are recovrable)

  I have a problem with my iMac restore from a Time Machine backup, and I was wondering if anyone else had the same problem already.

  I had to reinstall OS X El Capitan from scratch, based on education, I received Support from Apple. That worked without problems and my iMac works fine. However, I wanted to restore it to how it was before, using Time Machine. I keep my backups on a LaCie 5big Thunderbolt 2 and never had any problems with it.

  To restore the system, I followed the instructions on the Support page. I restarted my system in recovery mode and selected the "restore from Time Machine backup". Unfortunately the LaCie 5big does not appear on the list of drives, so I'm stuck... When you use the system in normal mode, the external RAID is visible and Time Machine stores backups on it without any problem.

  Any of you are familiar with this problem? I would be very grateful if you could help me with this problem!
