I need to remove windows sign in assistant so I can reinstall windows live

I already posted a problem with movie maker with a problem I can not remember the error code as I deleted it, but what happened was when I open movie maker a box pops up with a code 0x00 and said that I had to restart but when I closed this filmmaker locked box, I got answers proposing me fixes that did not work and was the last post I had to uninstall Essentials and reinstall it is what I try to do, I uninstalled the mail and other programs, but he is a stubborn that won't let me not uninstall the 2 remaining programs windows live and a box to keep telling me that I can't remove them becauwse they are opened in windows live sign in assistant, I searched this file with no joy. I tried to reinstall live essentials of your site and box emerged by asking who I would like to install programs and I clicked on a box then popped up saying essentials has been repaired almost in a Flash he said essentials had been installed as I already know it t5akied a good 10-15 minutes to install cosequently when I checked none of the programs installed. So I'm completely puzzled. Allan

Hi all my microsoft technicians, I took your advice and do a clean install and everything including the building windows live movie are ok now, I'm now wondering if you still found a cure for error code 0 x 80070057 yet it seems to be a thorn in the foot. Anyway thanks for your help and I know where to go if I'm stuck again. Allan

Well, I'm glad to hear it and I thank you for letting me know.

What do you do when the error code 0 x 80070057 appears?

Do you receive a message as follows:

Error: The parameter is incorrect
Code: 0 x 80070057

    Hello again,

Another reason for not getting answers in due time, it's that you post in the wrong forum in "answers". This should really be posted in this forum...

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/windowslive/Forum/Messenger

.. because Windows live call is part of messenger. By posting your question in the wrong forum you not reach the largest selection of possible contributors, perhaps even eliminate everyone with the appropriate knowledge.

You have already been informed of the connection of Windows live call with messenger by Srinivas KR in your original question.

In short, most of the lack of response, you have found is down to your own lack of knowledge about the best way to get results. If you want to use a new tool, it is always a good idea to do some research before you use it so that you can get the best out of it. "Answers" are your information tool and will make you much better work for you if you are reading this...

    http://answers.Microsoft.com/en-us/page/FAQ

.. .in conjunction with the link I gave in another of your questions.

    That said...

It doesn't seem like Messenger have the ability to disable this option. Editing the registry appears as a possible solution. Editing the registry when done incorrectly can have serious detrimental effects on your system. Do so at your own risk. I can say that I followed the instructions here...

    http://www.mydigitallife.info/how-to-remove-Windows-Live-call-entry-from-new-ShellNew-menu/

.. .and they worked on my PC.

Of course, if you do not use Messenger, you could just uninstall as advised previously by Srinivas KR.

  • You need to remove Windows Embedded dual-boot system.

Original title: replacement of the Windows XP boot manager.

    Hello

A few days ago, I installed Windows Embedded Standard on a PC that already had Windows XP on it. But (Windows Embedded) has been installed with a lot of system files missing (Task Manager, System Configuration and even the application to activate Windows was absent).

The Windows boot manager that came with Windows Embedded could not be successful because I could not access "msconfig". It doesn't even have a "repair" advanced option.

"Windows Embedded would be useless in 30 days, so I formatted the disc that contains the" management of the computer "in Windows XP.

But Windows Boot Manager Embedded stayed with Windows Embedded as one of the options (Option low said "Earlier Version of Windows". This driver for the Windows XP boot manager).

Is there a way I can get rid of him?

    Thank you

    DOM

    Hi Dom,

Did you uninstall normal Windows XP or Windows Embedded Standard?

If you have removed Windows Embedded and normal Windows XP still installed, you can use FIXMBR and FIXBOOT from the Recovery Console to restore the boot loader.

For more information, please visit this link: Description of the recovery Windows XP for power users Console

If you have removed the normal Windows XP and Windows Embedded, you can ask your question in the MSDN forums for assistance.

    http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/windowsembedded/standard/dd673653

Hope the helps of information. Please post back and we do know.

  • How to remove Windows Live Messenger sign in box?

I have windows 7 (64-bit) and every time I start the computer I get the sign in the box open and I don't want it. I checked msconfig and unchecked returned a few programs Windows Live and it worked for a startup, then the pop up. When I checked the config, one of the programs that United Nations checked, I had been checked again. I guess all I have to do is uncheck an item and click on apply.

I don't use the program and would remove from the Control Panel / Add Remove Programs, but don't know what its name.  The closest I see is "Windows Live Essentials" I use Hotmail, but this seems to be an instant messaging application.

I found the answer. do you this via the Remove programs and it is the program "Windows Live Esentials" and you will be asked to remove several components and instant messaging is the one I choose and now the box pop up seems to be gone for good... fingers are crossed.l

  • Need help with Windows Live Mail password

Microsoft support told me that the only way to get help with my last password is by e-mail or forums and I recorded many positions and got no response.  I gave them all of my personal info to my email account and no response. I called in and no response.  Should I give up on this account?  I got it for more than three years and many court and legal emails were sent there I need.  Please notify.

I guess that you have a Live account Windows that you do not manage to connect to for various reasons.  Can clarify you what the case, and you can specify that you forgot your password or your user name?

If you talk about this type of Forums (below) then they are very busy, but eventually you should get a response from Microsoft.  If the problem is that I'm guessing that this is so only Microsoft can fix the problem for you, posters not Microsoft, as we find in this Forum won't be able to do much for you other than to advice on a course of action to follow.

If I remember the way Microsoft handle such problems with the "lockout", it's that they contact you by E-mail (an address that you can still access) and either reset your password or clear the problem after having proved to their satisfaction that you are the owner of the blocked account.  The process is a lot easier if you have (in the setup) provided them with another email address, or installed (and remember) secret an answer to the Question.

Unfortunately, the whole process may fail and you may forever lose this account.  If that were the case, you should start now to try to get duplicates of important emails from the original sender.
