• Period of notification of the request for more information

  We have implemented a notification of approval for our client who is at a high level,
  
  applicant-> 1 - > 2 approver approver
  
  Once a request is made, the notification 'approval' goes to approver 1 track 2 approver. The application is approved when both approve to approve the request. If no action is taken by the approvers, the original notifications are cancelled and escalation notification is sent to the approver supervisor 2.
  
  We have a deadline of 48 hours for initial approval notifications sent to the approvers (1 & 2). Where 2 approver prays for more information using the "Request for information" button, the TIMEOUT clock does not reset itself and the notification is cancelled after that even if 48 hours, the notification is in the queue of the applicant.
  
  It is originally the notification of escalation become approver supervisor 2.
  
  The question is why does the timeout clock not reset when the notification back to the applicant for more information. Is this the behavior of the workflow notification standard oracle? Is it possible to customize and to achieve this goal?

  I received numerous emails saying that they come from Windows Live Hotmail, asking for personal information, including my password, date of birth, etc. The messages say that they update of files and I need to send this information, or my account or my account will be deleted. Do you really send these emails, or is this some kind of scam? Computer experts I spoke say that these messages would be never sent any reliable organization and will never respond to these requests for information. What do you know about this?

  Its a common phishing scam. Do not answer. Mark the email as spam and delete it.

• Can I open EGGS in the Workstation 7.1.4 - failed at the source of the request for more information

  When I click on file-> open, there is an option to open the file OVF and EGGS but when I select my OVA file, I get error message saying

  "The source of information query failed."

  I tried another way in the menu by going to file-import and export and follow the prompt on the screen and I when I chose this OVA and click Next, I received an error different message saying:

  "The descriptor of the FVO could not be parsed."

  I download/install the latest OVF tool and manually unzip the OVA.

  Do not reply to this message - this looks like a scam to get information from you.  Do not click on links or open attachments in the e-mail either little matter what they say (they can be malicious software).

  If you are worried, connect to your Live Hotmail account (I don't want to say through your e-mail program, but through the access online program) and check the status here.  If you are about to be abandoned, you are sure to have a message any on the screen when you connect to the account.  I am sure that there will be no such message.

  I don't know that this is not true - the real company would never need reveal you such information.

  Is there such a thing as Technical Support for Internet Protocol for computers? I got a call (Friday, September 10, 2010) a business (have the name and number) informing that they received our Support for Internet Protocol details and virus/malicious Trojan horses have been making my computer that caused our Microsoft programs down and they would help solve the problem.  I refused the offer - took the name and number (has managed to find the name/site of the company on the Internet).  The Internet provides support and they would use other companies to communicate with customers to fix their computers.  Either way, we ran a scan on the computer ourselves and found no viruses etc.

• ShadowProtect - failed to query the Source for more information

  I am running VMWare Workstation 6.5.1 on XP SP3.

  I created a few disk (file extension .spf) with ShadowProtect Desktop images.

  They advised me to http://www.StorageCraft.com/ProductTours/ShadowProtect_VMware_Workstation.ASF only by clicking on 'Open VM or existing team', location of the image of the spf, it converting the image into a virtual machine.

  But when I try, I get a VM error: failure to the source of the request for more information.

  I am also unable to import files the.spf using files & gt; Import / export... I get a "could not load the VM source or image." The file may be corrupt or in an unsupported format. »

  I am new at this and will post the logs if necessary, but I suspect I'm missing just something simple. Thank you.

  According to the Release Notes, there are some limitations to the use of images of StorageCraft ShadowProtect.  The following apply to you?

  The file > open and file > import controls have several limitations of StorageCraft ShadowStore images (files .spf) and Symantec Backup Exec System Recovery of images (files .sv2i). The limitations are:

  -No support for dynamic disks.

  -The images related to the backup of the same machine must be in the same folder, without other images placed there.

  -All volumes on the disk until the active devices and the system must be saved. (For example, say there are 4 (1-4) partitions on a drive, partition 2 is the active volume and partition 3 is the system volume. Volumes 1-3 must be saved.)

  -If this is an incremental image, so 16 incremental backups are supported.

  -In addition, for images of StorageCraft, it has no support for systems of logical drives if the logical drive is also a volume of system/active.
