  Please close Lightroom and then go to the following location in the Explorer: C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets\User Presets

  Paste the predefined settings file in the location above, then try to open Lightroom and control the Module Development, if you are able to display Presets or not.

• How to stop the image on my screen sliding upwards

  In Safari, the image on my screen often slides up under the menu bar leaving a single line that can be clicked to restore the image. Although this may seem a minor issue it is intensely irritating and help to stop the problem would be much appreciated.

  I don't know what happened but recently when I snaps a picture it is resized to the size of the entire window of photoshop. The outline of the picture stops on the left toolbar, but on the right it goes under my panels. Another thing that started at the same time is a problem with mini bridge, as you can see it is attached to my group, but when I click on the arrow to decompress it pushes the rest of the Panel to the right and off the screen.

  Also I had problems with the button "adjust the screen. I used to be able to have the window of a certain size and when I hit screen adjustment the window would keep its size, but the image would zoom so there were these areas of shade around the image, now when I did the screen it resizes the window as well. I checked the Zoom option resizes the window is not checked, but nothing works. Help, please! I know that there is an option of enforcement for Mac framework that supposedly corrects these problems, but I'm on a PC (Windows7) so I did not have this option.

  

  If anchor you the panels on the right (layers, etc.) as the Toolbox is anchored to that stop at the image to go under the panels.

  When I plug my CF card reader into a Firewire port on my iMac, it insists on opening the Canon's Image browser. It was very well in the past, but since I installed Adobe Lightroom CC - I want the application to open. In the preferences of LR CC, I checked the button for it to 'See' the import dialog when a memory card is inserted, but the system insists on giving me that Canon's Image browser. If LR CC is already running, the import dialog box appears, but does the Image browser. Could be a problem for Adobe, could be a problem of Cannon, could be a problem with OS X. thinking I'd start here - ideas, until I visit the other sites?

  As usual, five minutes after the announcement of this question, I found an answer - on the website of DPreview.com. And the answer was NOT very intuitive. Open the image transfer application, highlight of the CF card, click on the small icon in the lower left and tell him "other application". You can then choose which application you want. In my case, it was Lightroom CC. Good grief - who would have thunk it would be here!

• Sequence video Previews and GPU settings?

  Dear PrP CC users,

  I wanted to get a few related that information to the sequence settings.

  In the bottom of the sequence settings box: video Previews. There are three boxes of UN / tick:

  Maximum depth

  Maximum render quality

  Linear color composite (requires a GPU acceleration or rendering quality max)

  Normally, I check all of them. I have an active Windforce GTX 770 4 GB CUDA mercury engine. I also updated rendering optimizes for: Performance.

  My questions are these.

  -These selections make the final output of a delivery schedule, or is it just for during regular and rendered reading preview?

  -Also when I export using Media Encoder through dynamic, is links - this misuse previews for a faster export, often I export to ProRes4444 for classification, I heard the preview files will differ as its created by the GPU and may slightly change color depending on the GPU, you have, so it is better to export and to allow him to perform a new made using the CPU in Media Encoder (I have always set the maximum depth and quality)?

  -Finally, in the export process, when I select the maximum Bit depth, there are options in the value of depth of bits (32, 48, 64) does it become redundant since I checked the maximum depth?

  The first two boxes only affect previews.  The boxes of same in the export settings dialog box will be replace those and determine the output.

  Using previews for export is generally not a good idea, that doing so will incur an additional compression stage.  The exception occurs when the previews are lossless (or almost, as with DNxHD).

  Not working not with ProRes, I've never seen these options.

  Startup.homepage_override_url and startup.homepage_welcome_url

  Double-click on each one and delete the text string. Close and reopen the window to check that it worked.

  As I deleted them both at the same time, I'm not sure who was the culprit. So, I suggest starting by striking first and tests before deleting this one.

  Ah, brain lapse...

  Even if the dimensions of your HDV clip are 1440 x 1080, full frame, it is actually 1920 x 1080. So, your file 1600 x 1067 (probably with square pixels) is going to 'float' in the middle of your monitor for the program. You will have to step up or redraw your chart to be at least 1920 x 1080 with square pixels (or 1440 x 1080 with a 1.333 NORMAL) to completely fill the screen.

  Note that you cannot interpret just your 1600 x 1067 with a NORMAL 1, 333 - well, you could, but you will get stretching distortion.
