  More detailed description... This seems to be a MIME type problem with APEX (or maybe DB) release management.  The following code works as expected when run in mode ' 4.1 Pre'-IE.» It displays a PDF document in Acrobat appropriate / another plugin in several browsers (Firefox, Opera, Chrome, IE).  But just by changing 'Compatibility Mode' TI ' 4.2 "(ou encore «4.1"), then download the file but it appears like a bunch of random characters, and the web page header type MIME is "text/HTML". "."

  Note: this also happens with other types of files such as doc/xls/etc, but I would expect pricing PDF should also fix these.

  I'm a bit of a loss as to where this is the case, it seems that there is a difference in "Compatibility Modes" between the creation of the header HTML using "OWA_UTIL.mime_header" or the path of the component it goes through before coming to apache.

  The only other thing I could think is that we do a little redirection to display the PDF file, although it seems like it might be a Kipper.  Basically, we use page 560 as a container and then view the PDF with page 561 in an embeded frame within page 560.  So we have, on page 560, which is the one that we reference throughout the application, a region with a source of "& lt;" IFRAME src =? p = & APP_ID.:561: & SESSION.height = "500" width = "700" & gt & lt; / iframe & gt < / pre > '.  Then on page 561, in a process "We charge - before header", we call 'DOWNLOAD_APPLICANT_PDF' code (below).

  Note: I tried to call "apex_application.stop_apex_engine" after "DOWNLOAD_APPLICANT_PDF", as suggested by a few threads, but it does not solve the problem and caused some low-level system errors.

  History...

  I saw a tutorial online on how to change the icons of any file (text, folder, programs)
  In addition to the normal way to do it:

  The normal route was right - click folder, text, program or folder etc-> choose Properties > then choose Change icon

  The new way that I learned how to do that was - go to folder options in the control panel > choose the 'file types' tab > find folder icon, click on it > choose Advanced Options > then choose Change icon.

  The reason for me wanting to do other then the normal way is because I would like to point out that all RECORDS USE DIFFERENT TYPE of ICON RATHER THEN DEFAULT UGLY OF THAT folder BROWN ICON that windows XP USES

  the problem starts here... to (go into folder options in Control Panel > choose the 'file types' tab > find folder icon, click on it > choose Advanced Options > then choose Change icon.)

  Note that these are two icon files: the 'Change icon' button is available and highlighted on a launched the Advanced button, but not on the other...

  After messing around with New both of these icons of specific folder "Advanced settings" after closing and the application of the setting.

  What is happening now, it is that each folder I usually double-click thanks to my system all what happens is that the search method appears average while displaying no other files in the folder it self.

  I'm expieranced and you wrote the parameters passed to each "type of file"setting"for this purpose he adjusting back to the past and yet nothing happens...

  If you select the data cells on the Bulletin Board of cube and click the toolbar with the 00 and arrow from left to right, this will add a decimal point, if you keep clicking top will add another etc.

  However when compiling, error comes which says 'incompatible data types' that is the integer and the number are not compatible.

• EPMA - invalid member for Plan Type problem

  In the dimension of the Version, we have a member named "Flash worm". We want that it to be valid for the Type of Plan 2 only not Plan Type 1. However the boxes to change this are 'grey '. Any ideas how to fix this?

  I do not think the scenarios or Versions can be isolated to a single plan type. What is the business case behind it all? I wonder if there might be a workaround solution related to safety.

• Doc type problem?

  Hi, I have a gallery of images generated by Adobe Bridge (using a flash viewer) and do not display in all browsers.  I suspect it is to do with the type of document.

  Leaving the total work for all browsers except Opera and IE8.  Strangely, the gallery itself is very well in these two, but as soon as I build the rest of the page around him, he collapses.

• SE MIME type problem

  I use class in Flash FileReference to download a file with a ColdFusion page. I use the cffile tag in coldfusion and I can determine what files will be accepted with 'accept' argument. But Flash is sending as application/octet-stream content type always! It is not safe to watch the extension only. It is therefore misleading to coldfusion!   Is there a solution to this issue?

  Flash always uses the MIME type of the octect stream whatever the file is transferred.  You should not rely on the MIME type or accept attribute of CFFILE to safety.  The MIME type is set by the client to submit the file.  A malicious user could drop a CFM file with a different MIME type and bypass the safety devices that rely on the verification of the MIME types.  You should check the file extension and/or the content of the file on the server side.

  You cannot use local collection types in SQL. You must create a bin_array of type like nested SQL table type. In addition, depending on the version you will not cast:

  When you use a pointing device, you must disable the Touchpad on the laptop.

  I have a few wheelbase where I created outlines. I'm saving this doc to PDF and exporting as a jpg, so that others can put in different types of documents. I want to do a second version of the graphics by inverting the type on a dark bkgrd. The PDF looks and prints well but the type does not appear in the jpg file. (All the nonserif as well as the italic serif has no problem). So I thought I would put a white line around the wick of the type problem. The white line appears in the jpg file, but it seems as if it was a white line around dark type, instead of a white line around white type, which is how it appears in Illustrator and Acrobat and print as such. But once she passes in jpg format, this problem occurs. I messed up with the 'piercing group' command in the transparency palette, but nothing helped. He has really left me speechless. Can anyone help?

  Yes, you have the white set to overprint I select the letter attributes and uncheck the option to overprint the white.

• Bad high and low value with the varchar2 data type

  It is an application on e - biz on database 9205, with inventory module.
  
  In one of the mtl_txn_request_headers of the table, the data for the number of application type is varchar2 (30). When I checked the low_value & high_value in dab_tab_columns, I see that the low_value is 100001 (6 digits) and high_value is 99999 (5 digits).
  
  I used the utl_raw.cast_to_varchar2 (low_value) to convert the value.
  
  In our case, we save a large part of the value in incremental number and some of our query will be in the predicate of the range (between).
  
  How should I handle this kind of situation and which option do I?
