Problem of Flash animation

I can't get a FLV (Insert |) Media | Animation Flash file) to be seen on a clients website. I spent the day through lynda.com for this training, and I'm sure that I did it correctly. But obviously not 100% correct. Preview the files just fine on my local machine, but I can't seem to post on the web.

The homepage below, has an FLV on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a MIME type problem with your server.

  • Flash animations will not play after the flash update

    Hello

    It's really weird, but flash animations on most sites (sites like Ustream) will not play after that I updated the flash player. The funny thing is that on youtube play very well. I've tried disabling the addon of shockwave, relocation, etc., but nothing works. This problem is with firefox only because as the Chrome and Explorer the flash player works fine.

    Thank you.

    Thank you. In fact, it was not necessary because I have disabled protected mode flash and who did it. However, seems like it is not the best option but average tiem, I guess I have no choice.

  • Kindly can anyone provide info on Flash animations? I'm creating a Web site in Dreamweaver and I intend to use Flash to draw animations to put in the site...?

    I do not know who to choose - whether HTML5 canvas or ActionScript 3.0 - in order to have the animations run smoothly on the browsers (while not giving users to pop-up messages to modernize their plugin to see my animations).

    If not, is there a way that I could use Edge animate to do the job? For example, you could import the flash animations in Edge animate and then import the edge Animation in Dreamweaver?  If I do this, the animations will work without problem most of the time, regardless of the type of plugin users can have?

    Thank you, in advance.

    the decision on whether or not to use html5 is based if you want mobile phones without flash (like ios devices) to 'see' your Web site.

    If you want to use html5, you can use flash or an edge.

  • Problem publishing Flash Movie

    I have an assignment for my college web design class in the flash section. We had to create these flash animations to teach basic skills. I finished the project very well, and it plays when I test in flash professional, and when I test the publication of it in HTML format. It does not work in any of my browsers once I publish it. My teacher is of course not answer my questions.

    Other flash movies work in my browser just not these. I am sure that the problem is publish because it works when I test it. I have Flash Professional CS 5.5 on my computer at home. I can't get a free trial of CS6 because two of my computers running Vista. Is the problem that I CS 5.5 and not 6?

    It is not sensible for me since I have done a few years ago a CS5.5 flash animation and it still plays to this day? I'm kinda in a panic because my assignment comes tonight and it will not publish, but it works when I test it! The computers at my University have CS6, but I can't get there in time, I was hoping to hear the Professor, but which is not the case unfortunately.

    I hope it's a small mistake I do and not the problem of it is is not the latest version of flash.

  • Urgent: How to export a Director cast members - in this case it's a flash animation?

    Hello

    I have a problem - of course, that's why I'm here.

    My problem is that, in my film Director (version 11.5), a flash animation is a member of the distribution list (sorry, I don't know the words German and hope totranslate correctly!). There is no source URL in its properties. It must therefore 'in' the film the Director somehow.

    Unfortunately the original file is lost. Now, I need to have this flash animation in a flash animation, not as a member / cast. Is it possible to get the film off als Director a file?

    Thanks a lot for your help!

    Kind regards

    Where and how did you run the code you posted?

    I would say open your Message (CTRL + M) window with your manager the file open in the authoring environment and does not. Then run the following in your Message window (type/copy & paste in the upper pane and press ENTER):

    put exportSWF (member ("Player"), _movie.path & "output.swf", TRUE)

    If you still get an error 'undefined Manager', then you have placed the xtra in the wrong directory. It should go in something like (changing based on your system language and the installation folder):

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Director 11\Configuration\Xtras\Scripting\

  • Implementation of my flash animations in my game

    I'm working on an independent game project.  I'm the artist, and my partner is the programmer.  We are using java.

    I have been using after effects to create my animations and export my creations to a png sequence so that my programmer can simply sequence through them to make the animation in the game. Well, since our graphics are HD (at least, they are not SNES) this method has become rather taxing on our loading time.  We have only a fraction of the animations, we plan to have and load time are get up for a minute.

    So, I was watching the games that usually have the same kind of graphic and animation that we are going to, and I found Castle Crashers.  It turns out that they use flash.  So, I'm looking to Flash to solve my problem.  Problem is, I'm new with it, so I know exactly how you GET your animations made in the game without going through a png sprite sheet.

    By the way - important detail - all my assets animation are files HAVE, so that they are vector images (at least until they're pixelated in sequels).

    Basically, my question is - is there a way traditional or generally accepted rendering of flash animations in a game?  I know that Castle Crashers stores their .swf animations, then when the game is loading, she rasterizes them.  It's way above my head, and they only did it to conserve hard drive space.  This isn't my problem.  Loading time is my problem.

    While flash can be used to create vector graphics (bitmap graphics) and it does not (IE, there is no point in using flash) because flash is a lower quality tool (illustrator to create less than photoshop and vector graphics to create bitmap graphics). and that's the only way flash fit into your workflow if you continue to use java.

    Flash is used to create games and applications (with relatively small file sizes and made effective) displayed in the flash player in a browser, mobile or desktop.  (the latest versions of flash also have a rudimentary ability to create applications html5.)

    I understand that you have encountered a problem with java, and a solution would be to stop the development of java and create your flash game, because the reduced file size is one of the main advantages of the flash animation. but you're not going to realize any benefits of small file size using the flash in your workflow and still create a java game.

  • Flickering flash animation at the beginning

    Hello

    IM new to flash animation. I'm using adobe flash CS5, my animation flickers at the beginning, anyway to remove this? Thank you

    Twinkle seems to be an empty picture frame being included in the animation at the beginning or at the end.   If you can't tell by looking at the calendar, just manually scrub the timeline and see if you can spot where it is... either at the beginning or at the end.

    Your embed code for the swf file needs some work if you can see only with Chrome.  I looked at the source of the page and I see if a height value of "0" is specified, that could be the problem else.  You should let Flash publishes the code integration and then copy into your page.

  • Flash animations will not play in Captivate 5.5

    Ahoy there

    We have recently updated to Captivate 5.5

    For some reason any incorporated flash animations will not play in CP 5.5 they play perfectly fine in preview mode of a slide in CP (F3), but will not play when I publish the project or get a glimpse of the output using F4.

    Flash animations are of different versions of Flash (3 CS, CS 4 and CS 5), and some use AS 2.0, some AS 3.0. The problem is valid for all .swf files

    Does anyone have an idea? This is starting to drive me crazy...

    Please let me know if I have to describe the issue in more detail.

    Kind rgds

    Hello and welcome to the forum,

    AS2 animations will not play in CP5.5 or 5.0, because it supports only AS3. To explain possible questions, allow us to wait for the Flash gurus, there is a problem with complex animations. Try a search with Google because the search of the forums is not functional at the moment, there are several discussions on this problem.

  • How to adjust the speed of a Flash animation in Adobe Captivate

    I have three Flash animations that have been purchased from istockphoto.com. The animations have been imported into the project in Captivate. When individual slides play in the project, the speed and the time is perfect. When the project is then to publish to preview of all of the project as a whole, all animation speed and play without interruption throughout the desired slide. I don't know how to slow down the animation and to play only once. What are the properties that I need to adjust in order to slow down the animation?

    Only possible problem I see is possible incompatibility between the versions of actionscript. Captivate 5 is AS3 only.

  • Flash animations stop after a random time

    The problem I encounter is that the flash movie files (each site) play for a moment or two, then will stop with little "loading" symbol turning constantly in the center of the screen. Flash movies used to work without problem, but in recent months, she went from does not to doesn't work do not at all. to a perhaps related problem sometimes downloads stop after a certain period of time and also seem to "hang on" to a random location. If I pause and then charging that restart the program or anything that will usually complete the download. It doesn't happen often but it happens. The flash animation, however, thing every time - no matter what browser I've tried. (Firefox, IE, IE with no Add-ons and Chrome in any case.)

    I tried the solutions I've found all over the internet, including Adobe and Microsoft forums, nothing helps. I unloaded flash with the Adobe uninstaller and reloaded flash. I tried different versions of flash - with and without a firewall on. I made sure I use the 32-bit version of Internet Explorer and even tried to run in "Administrator" mode. I've updated all the drivers that I can upgrade. I used a check of the register as a last resort. I even used the Dell partition to return my computer to the condition it was when I bought it and that has not changed anything either.

    Everything I've tried has made zero difference. In the hope that someone will have another idea for me to try, I put all the stats of my computer that I can think of below.

    Hi, thanks for the info of Kill bits. I think an uninstallation/installation may be in order. However, I not to do this use the router, unplug it and use the modem directly.

    Use the administrator account.

    Download and SAVE to your desktop, the uninstall program:

    http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html

    Download and SAVE to your desktop, the installation program to use IE installer EXE

    http://www.Adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html

    Close all the browser windows, you do not want to look on your desktop.

    Disable Messenger services, like yahoo, msn, etc. in the tray (area near the clock)

    Launch the uninstaller and when you are done, Reboot (restart) your computer.

    Run the installer for IE, run Setup for FF and when you're finished, restart.

    Then go to this site and test:

    http://www.Adobe.com/software/Flash/about/

    You can print these instructions to make it easier to follow. If you have any questions, let me know.

    I hope that since so many changes have been made, that a clean uninstallation/installation can run.

    And if he does so before using the router, that would be a problem. The Qwest ISP cannot be ruled out, but if you still have the problem after that, so needs.

    Thank you

  • Flash animation on top of menu drop-down lists

    I created a flash animation and installed in a site to see that the flash movie appeared on top of my menu drop-down lists.  I tried to set the mode "move" window in opaque and transparent, had no effect.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    link to the site:

    http://www.moogadvertising.com/apidelevan2/contact/repmap.html

    The solution is to set wmode = "transparent" and in your object/embed html, but that only solves the problem in win/IE. The problem is there on the home page of Adobe own years. If you are unlucky enough to use a Mac there is no effective solution for this problem.

  • Stop the Flash animation restart on each page

    Hi Chaps,

    I have a Web site that uses the same flash movie in the header of each page.

    Problem is that the flash animation restarts once the new page is loaded.

    Is it possible to play the movie without having to restart, other than using something like frames or iframe?

    See you soon

    Samuel

    you could disable the AutoPlay option on the pages that you don't want it to play on the charge.

    you could store a cookie that the flash animation will use to determine if we have already seen.

    you could create a flash animation designed for the internal pages that works differently (i.e. does not show an annoying splash mount)

    you could... Use images for internal pages that reproduce the key without flash features

    you could... Remove the flash of your Web site all together if it is not needed

    you could wrap the flash code in an if else statement seeking a session created on the home page, in the which all future seen at the level of the site choose the verision alternative flash

    I don't know that there are more of them

  • Flash animation does not correctly load in Internet Explorer only

    I have a simple flash animation which through text and pictures. I have a (AS3) preloader on frame 1, which sends the playhead to the frame 2, once the film is loaded 100%. For some reason, in Internet Explorer, the preloader bar will load completely, but fail to move the playhead to the frame 2, so it will just stay here with prestressing bar to 100%. However, this does not happen every time. For example, at the present time, the flash animation will play when I initially on the site, but when I click on another page, the same flash header (same swf on each page) just goes to show the preloader bar but will not play the rest of the film. Didn't help not reload the page. Close the browser and reopen it don't help. Clearing the cache of the browser did not help either. Thus, the flash animation will play correctly on the first page of the site I'm going to (be it the home page or another page) but then when I go to any other page that has flash animation, he won't play, he's there with the preloader bar showing. And then when to return to the original page, I entered the site, the flash movie play there anymore, either. I have not seen this problem in another browser than Internet Explorer (6 and 7). I checked in Firefox on Mac and PC and Safari on Mac. I use flash player 10.0.22.87 on my Mac and PC. The flash animation was made in Flash CS3, flash player 9, actionscript code 3.

    So to see the problem, here in Internet Explorer: http://demo.matthewpavkov.com/adairsolar . Wait for the movie to load and start playing. This works. Then go to one of the other pages and you will see that the same swf will not play. Go to the homepage, the swf file does not play.

    Here is the preloader code:

    import flash.display.*;
    this.stop();

    this.loaderInfo.addEventListener(ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING);

    function PL_LOADING(event:ProgressEvent):void {
        var pcent:Number=event.bytesLoaded/event.bytesTotal*100;
        lbar.scaleX=pcent/100;
        lpc.text=int(pcent)+"%";
        if (pcent>=100) {
            this.gotoAndStop(2);
        }
    }

    , If I remove the preloader ActionScript flash animation plays correctly. You can see it here: http://demo.matthewpavkov.com/adairsolar/no-preload

    The .fla is available for those who want to take a closer look.

    mjjp,

    Can just that in IE, the ProgressEvent never triggers - because your content is already cached.  See what happens if you add the following lines again (end of the sample code):

    this.stop();

    this.loaderInfo.addEventListener(  ProgressEvent.PROGRESS, PL_LOADING);function PL_LOADING(event:ProgressEvent):void {  var pcent:Number=event.bytesLoaded/event.bytesTotal*100;  lbar.scaleX=pcent/100;  lpc.text=int(pcent)+"%";  if (pcent>=100) {    this.gotoAndStop(2);  }}if (this.loaderInfo.bytesLoaded >= this.loaderInfo.bytesTotal) {  this.gotoAndStop(2);}

    See what's happening?  In this way, even the Manager ProgressEvent never triggers, you always compare the bytesLoaded, bytesTotal property property.

  • Link on Flash Animation

    Hello
    It comes to my website http://www.scottsdale-and-phoenix-real-estate.com/
    Please take a look at the flash animation and move your mouse over it.

    I see the dark figure appears when the mouse move over the area around the flash area.

    I use internet exploerer version: 6.0.2800.1106 under windows 2000. I don't see the outline. Everything is going well and that the link does not work well. However, another computer in the office that uses internet explore Version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_dgr.050301 - 1519 (which is Windows XP with service pack 2 I think) shows the outline when the mouse above the flash area and also the link to another page on the flash animation sometimes does not work in internet explore Version: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_dgr.050301 - 1519. I have visited a lot of websites that use the animation flash as a link to another Web page and see the same thing when you use the Version of internet explore: 6.0.2900.2180.xpsp_sp2_dgr.050301 - 1519. Could someone give me a pointer on how to solve this problem.

    Thank you
    Pete

    You should try the Flash forum, as this forum is for topics related to the Fireworks program.

    The problem you are having is due to a recent update of IE which adds this thing 'click to activate the control. The reason for which it has been added is due to a questionable patent held by Eolas, which forced Microsoft to change their browser in this way.

    To avoid the click to activate, there are a number of available patches. This question is asking every day in the Flash forum, you may find the answer here. Or do a search for "Eolas Flash fix.

    Personally, I use "swfobject" in my own projects.
