  I installed Windows 8.1 Home Premium X 64 on my laptop last week, he had originally version 8 is installed when I bought a month ago.   Some time ago I tried adobe photoshop CS4 and used the trial until it expired. About a month later I wanted to delete the files from my computer. I was rather unfamiliar with how UN-installers worked, and I didn't know they existed. Simply, I went to my finder, typical photoshop and most of the files deleted. It turns out that I deleted the re install or how ever it works. I received recently of photoshop than CS4 extended as a gift and I tried to install it. This did not succeed, the first screen that came with the installer said I always test files on my computer, and I have to uninstall them. I was told by someone who knew more about the products adobe that I had to go to the utility to uninstall. I tried this and it says critical files were absent, and I need to reinstall it from the original media. In this last month, or so I have found NO solution to this problem, and I'm afraid to delete all the other files. I could not find any help on the adobe site, and since I have not registered my product (since I have not installed so) I can't direct support from adobe. Please help all I want to do is to use photoshop and I don't like wasting the money of the people who bought it for me. Can someone give me a solution to this mess?

  From CS3, you MUST use the Adobe uninstaller which is installed in the Applications / Utilities / Adobe /.

  Some users who just moved the Photoshop folder to the trash or deleted files wrong gre-willy were forced back into their car, wipe and install the operating system and all applications from the original media.  You can chance and come out with just the CS4Clean Script.  Good luck.

  I decided to go to the Windows Device Manager (Vista x 64 SP1) and uninstall duplicate isatap and 6to4 networks.

  How can I get that back?

  The following command was not found: interface ipv6 install.
  -Been Googling everywhere, can't seem to find a place to download Toredo.

  Time for a repair facility to fix the networking that you deleted.  You can probably resolve this issue by issue, but it will take much more than a repair installation and you will never really know if you completely set.

  Not sure that the cleaning tool Acrobat will help as you use Reader (this is not the forum to drive). But you can try it at http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html. There may be a similar one for the player, but I don't know. If so, that would give you a chance to try a reinstall. It is a good idea to be logged in as an administrator and have anti-virus off at such a facility.

  Well, I found a 'solution '. Seems to work for me (so far).

  1. you will need a copy of psexec (SysInternals)
  2. run RegEdit as a "SYSTEM":
  PsExec.exe-i s d regedit.exe
  3. navigate to
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\ROOT\MS_NDISWANBH\0001
  * Note: 0001 final number may be different on your system, just look for one with "FriendlyName" of "Miniport (Network Monitor) Wan #2" or whatever the name of the faulty adapter. "
  4 delete this key (the 0001 and everything below)
  5. navigate to
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\ {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} \00xx (where XX may have a number any)-you can figure out which adapter it is by going to Device Manager and by checking the Details of the faulty adapter tab - down the menu down for 'Driver key' - it will show you a number like {4d36e972-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318} \0016
  6 delete this key and its subkeys.
  
  7 reboot your system and the yellow exclamation point should be gone.

  It's material is not a Windows problems.

  / Settings (BIOS/CMOS) often F2 as you start then look at the screen - make sure that is it
  is a toggle the TouchPad that it is enabled.

  Check with support of the manufacturer system, documentation online or forums that there is probably
  Shortcut keys that enable and disable the touchpad functions.

  Parameters for TouchPad located in the control panel - mouse (there may be several tabs with TouchPad
  entries) and some have a utility that loads in the Notification area next to the clock in the bottom right.

  If necessary and the TouchPad makes its appearance in Device Manager: (make sure that you have restarted at least
  only once if the above did not work)

  Panel of configuration manager devices - mouse and pointing devices - Double click on the touchpad - the driver tab-
  Click on update driver (it comes may not do anything like MS is far behind the drivers of certification), now right CLICK
  on the TouchPad and UNINSTALL.

  Then go to the USB and UNINSTALL ALL controllers except the category itself (all in). RESET

  This will refresh the driver for the TouchPad and battery USB. This does not prevent the touchpad from working.

  The similar procedure on XP, Windows 7 and Vista is the same, except that we need to clear the specific device if present.
