I want my PC recovery
My PC is HP Pavilion a6200t, product number: GN632AV
I have the original system for windows vista home premium 32 bit PC recovery. All 3 CD's came with my computer.
I tried to do a cover in my PC, but it says "ERROR".
This PC is not supported by the system recovery discs. You will not be able to continue this system with these discs to recovery.
Please, recommend me how to solve this problem.
I think buy another CD for system recovery; will not solve the problem of recovery in my PC.
Hello
Have change you your motherboard or your HARD drive?
If no parts have been replaced, I suggest you to contact HP via e-mail and explain the situation, the problem you have and see if you can get their support on this issue.
If you decide to install a Version of any OS, which would work fine.
Let me know your thoughts on my question above.
Thank you

Create a USB stick recovery before you make changes! Do not create a set of recovery discs!
A set of recovery disks is very fragile and can be destroyed with a single scratch on the disc label. A USB stick recovery is, unlike a DVD, very durable recovery.
If you install Linux on the hard drive it will change the boot loader if you aren't careful and is more you allow to start on Windows.
Make a recovery USB key does not remove the possibility of using F11, unless you make changes to the partition D: Recovery. This is where the Recovery Manager starts from when you use F11.

I can't wipe my recovery on my laptop I want to sell it how.
Hello
There is none of your personal files on the recovery partition, because any change in the areas of recovery them immediately denies.
If you did the fresh install of factory (recovery re - install) the only things that could be there of yours is the username and password if you have created a. Assuming that you have not connected and use the internet, etc.
So who has re-insured you?

trying to make a USB... says recovery space is 15.5 G... I tried a 16G and 32G USB and the * next button does not open for the task
Understand that the factory, which is what you get when you use the HP recovery media, erase the drive, deleting all data, settings, and applications. He returned to the PC of the State is was in when you first unboxed it.
If that's what you want, then you need to order recovery HP media. It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP.
You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers
Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update". If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.
Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:
If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

No I did not he that the laptop was already setup when I got, so I've never seen this request. I also didn't know on this subject until I started to study this problem. It is therefore a lesson hard for me. What I did was to order their part HP recovery support I hope it will work. Train your comment should I first copy all the important data of the player to the factory image recovery
It's a shame that one who has implemented the specification says nothing about creating media recovery for you.
Yes. It is very important that you back up everything you don't want to lose a device to external storage or to another PC. A Factory image recovery is a destructive process that removes all the partitions.
The recovery is expected to take care of it. You should receive the upgrade OEM HP USB stick recovery.

Now I want to know that can I use the recovery partition of my new HP pavilion 1130sx for hp pavilion 1035-ex g6 g6 or not
Hey there, because you deleted the recovery partition you need to get the recovery disks. The recovery on the other partition computer is unique to this computer (even if most of the hardware is the same) and will not work if you try to copy it somehow to the other computer. Take the recovery DVDs, and you're ready to go!

Recovery of the P50-B-103 Satellite without losing created partitions

OS: Windows 8.1Hello
I have created multiple partitions in my laptop Satellite P50-B-103 and I created the recovery DVDs 3.
Now, I want to the recovery of the operating system and to ensure the partition that I created with therir files.
When I tried the laptop with DVD recovery, I see that it is necessary to delete all partitions. Is it possible recovery remove computer laptop whitout my scores?Thank you.
Hello
In General, recovery image can be installed on two tracks:
Recovery option - HARD drive (recovery image is on the HARD drive)
-using the recovery DVDsWhen you use HDD recovery facility only C partition is deleted and the recovery image is installed. This option works with factory settings and structure partitions of origin.
You changed the structure of the partitions and this option does not work, so it makes sense that you want to use created the recovery disc.Problem is that the image recovey procedure wants to create factory settings including the structure of the original partitions. Before recovery image installation starts the recovery of all the files will be copied to the HARD drive and then installed from there so I think that you can not install recovery image on partition defined without changing everything.
Anyway, if there is a problem with your preinstalled operating system, reinstall the recovery image and then change the partitions again. It's not a big deal. You create recovery discs so structure of partitions of origin that includes the recovery image is not so important to you.
Using recovery discs you can install recovery image whenever you want.Of course, before you start to install recovery image to data backup.

Hi all
I just tried to do a factory reset on my satellite netbook (which I've done a few times before), but it failed. I got as far as the system wipe, but got an error saying that there is no current backup.
To restart, I am unable to access the utility and get an error saying no BONES found.
I have another version of windows knock around, so used quepour starts the machine. I can see the partition containing the files of recovery is still present and the files are still there. Anyone got any ideas how I can use it to restore my computer?
I have all other backups and I don't want to order recovery disks (my machine has not in any case of a hard drive).
Any thoughts or ideas would be apprecited.
Thank you!
Problem, is that there are not any special trick or workaround to force the installation of HARD drive recovery. Maybe it sounds stupid now, but either it works or not. Of course, there is a reason why it does not work. I don't know what have you done with your machine so can just speculate what may be the reason.
Like many other people you've made big mistake: you didn't create recovery (DVD or USB) media. The user s manuals document, clearly describes how it can be done and why. These created recovery media can be used if there is problem with the installation of recovery of HARD drive or what HARD drive fails and must be replaced by a new one.
Sorry, but I don't see a good option for you now.
By the way: why you won't restore disk original order? -
I can't do on the Satellite L505-GS5035 Toshiba Recovery
Hello
My L505 (GS5035) came with win 7 home recovery in a will get 10 GB partition is invisible in windows / my computer this version of windows by fault/recovery work properly... and I got it 2 times with the F8 Toshiba Recovery Wizard
But I decided to set up win 7 ultimate CD... but I didn't like it
So I now want to implement recovery House original win 7 with all the software Toshiba using F8 is not useful, because after installing win 7 ultimate CD... F8 does not show the Toshiba Recovery Wizard in the list. The recovery partition [10 GB] is not damaged or formatted or empty
(when I insert any what CD windows it shows me all the hard drive partitions/spaces and I see the State of the recovery partition = 10 GB with free only 600 MB of space)But I can't open the recovery partition of my computer and F8 is not useful now... After installing the CD of win 7 ultimate... F8 does not show the Toshiba Recovery Wizard in the list.
What should I do to re install the original win 7 home / with toshiba software?> But I decided to set up win 7 ultimate CD... but I didn't like it
> So I now want to implement recovery House original win 7 with all toshiba using F8 software is not
> useful because after installing win 7 ultimate CD... F8 does not show the Toshiba Recovery Wizard in the list. The point is that you have installed a clean Windows 7 on this laptop and the new OS has damaged or replaced the Toshiba Boot Manager where the recovery disc option have been mentioned.
Now, you can grab the laptop using HARD drive recovery. In this case, you must take the recovery disk you created if all goes wellIf you didn t create disk recovery, then you will need to order for a small fee.
