I want to delete startsearcher of internet explore

When I first open IE, I have this homepage foreign called startsearcher.com that I was not installed. I use Google for my homepage. Once my window is open, I can then click Home and Google takes over but then if I open another tab it begins again with startsearcher. I tried to find a way to remove it and apparently it comes with a toolbar or something I downloaded unintentionally facebook and is becoming very well known on the web. Thing is though is that everywhere where I look for help told me how to remove it, but tell me first open my foxfire. I do not have foxfire, I Internet Explorer. Nowhere can I find instructions for IE. Can anyone help?

Run the full scan of the system and see if it will detect and then remove it.

You can try to reset your Internet Explorer (go to tools-> internet option-> advanced-> reset)
