    Hello
If you create a new personal computer , you should consider all the options selection of an operating system.
Latest operating system offered by Microsoft is Windows 8.1 .
System requirements for Windows 8.1 are

    • Processor: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster with EAP, NX and SSE2 support
    • RAM: 1 gigabyte (GB) (32-bit) or 2 GB (64-bit)
    • hard disk space: 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)
    • Graphics card: Microsoft DirectX 9 graphics device with WDDM drivers

These Prerequisites are as a guideline for you that you should select when buying or building a new personal computer. Keep in mind, here are the minimum system requirements for Windows work so do not expect a smooth ride because the other programs and applications (we install we use computer) need more processing power and memory.
    Full list:

If you select Windows 8 or buy it at a local store, then you can switch to Windows 8.1, at any time for free, see how you can.

    -----------------------------------------------------

As much as you want to buy a Windows 7 it is only recommended If your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements for Windows 8.1 , most people like not the metro new interface user, Microsoft has tackled this problem and now Windows 8.1 arrives with an old classic desk which we all love, with the new Start Menu from the live tiles There really difference in Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 so I will recommend you to buy a Windows Pro 8.1, if you insist that you want to buy Windows 7 Microsoft have, stopping the sale of Windows 7, but good news is that you can still buy a Windows 7 from different online store.
buy it on Amazon officially from Microsoft For the Buying Guide , you should buy Windows 7 ultimate to exploit the full potential of Windows 7.
Learn more about the different versions of Windows 7 and choose according to your needs.
If you want to download windows 7 of an official no source so that no one can guarantee whether the software is authentic or free of malware and viruses, if you see a link on the Web sites that say to download Windows 7 then it will not give you any Code especially known as the activation key , This will be a trial for 30 or 90 days then your office will go black and the computer will shutdown/restart after every hour.

There are several ways to get Windows 7 and how do to activate without purchase but keep genuine don't you get.

once more I'll insist you should buy a windows 8.1 copy rather than Windows 7 because Microsoft is end Main stream for Windows 7 next January 2015 updates and security updates in 2020.
See the form of Windows lifecycle and learn about it here.

The best thing about Windows 8.1, it really brings the word personal computer to reality.

  • I want to reinstall Windows 7

I want to reinstall Windows 7 on my laptop, but when I'm in this Web site, http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery

the instructions said I should enter the activation key, but I lost the original CD with the key to the law. So, I download it and make a new DVD, so I can reinstall Windows 7.

But I n t have the key of the Act, the key to the law that appear in the computer is brought out and blurred. I can see only a few letters of the key to the law... How can Microsoft help me find my key of the full Act? Microsoft must know my IP address and match and find my key of the Act?

If your computer is pre-installed with Windows 7 and the COA sticker is missing or damaged, you have three options:

    Option 1:

If the COA sticker is damaged, you must use the recovery partition to reinstall Windows 7, it will be exempt from the need to use the product key to activate your installation of Windows 7.

    Option 2:

If your recovery partition is not available or damaged, you must contact the manufacturer of your computer, and request that a defined recovery disk you can use to reinstall Windows 7. They could practice a small shipping and handling. This will exempt the need to also use the product key.

    Option 3:

If neither options 1 or 2 is possible, then you will need to invest in a new license of full version of detail.

In order to install Windows 7 64-bit, you must boot from the disk, could not start the installation from a 32-bit version of Windows such as Windows XP.

Boot from the Windows 7 64 BIT DVD

To learn how to change your BIOS options to boot from the DVD drive, the following tutorial:

    http://notebooks.com/2011/05/05/How-to-load-BIOS-and-change-boot-configuration/
    Click Install now
    Accept the license agreement
When the option is displayed to select a type of installation, click (Custom advanced)

Select the disk partition where you want to install Windows 7 click Next.

You will receive the following warning:

The partition you have selected may contain files from a previous Installation of Windows. If so, these files and folders will be moved to a folder named Windows.old. You will be able to access the information in Windows.old, but you will be able to use your previous version of Windows.

(At all costs, do NOT click on anything in Format, deletion or Partition name.) So even do a custom installation, your personal files are still kept. Click OK

The installation program will now begin installation. During installation, your computer will be restarted several times.

Once the installation is complete, you can complete the Out of Box experience as the choice of your laptop, create a username, password, your time zone. You can then proceed to download the latest updates for Windows and reinstall your applications and drivers.

You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.

Reset recovery will wipe everything back to the factory setting. Everything that you installed or created data will be gone. You must get an ext HDD and to move your data to it and find where you placed your custom software to reinstall the software to use the data that you have moved to the ext HDD. Reinstall Windows on Windows will not fix your problem, but complicate the problem only.

  • Satellite P200 - 17 c - I want to install Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

I use Toshiba P200 - 17 c (PSPB6E) and were broadcast on the public beta of Windows 7 32 bit because it had been released a few months earlier, but I am surely informed Windows 7 64 bit is the way to go, so I would like to give it a try when the RC was released on 5 May. I have some questions I want to answer it please:

    1. the "spec" for my laptop indicates that it supports the Intel 64-bit architecture, but that the BIOS must also support 64-bit. Can someone tell me if my P200 will support and run Windows 7 RC 64 bit?

    2. my current BIOS version is v2.50 for 32-bit and the download page was also a v2.50 for 64 bit, does that mean if I want to use Windows 7 RC 64 bit, I need to Flash my BIOS using thev2.50 BIOS 64-bit?

    3. If the answer to Q2 is Yes and I flashed my BIOS using the d/l 64-bit, do I need to re - flash BIOS 32 bit if I want to go back to using any 32 bit OS?

    4. If the answer to Q3 is Yes, then I would have thought that Toshiba would have created a BIOS that would support 32-bit and 64-bit at the same time.

    Regrads

    Dave

    > As mentioned above, I am using Windows 7 32 bit and if I had to install Windows 7 RC 64 bit, would I need to update my BIOS with BIOS of 64-bit while I use a 32 bit OS and then install the 64 bit OS, or I install the OS 64-bit with my current 32-bit BIOS and then update once the 64 bit OS is installed?
    > (My personal feelings are that I had to upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit BIOS while I use Windows 7 32 bits and then immediately to install Windows 7 64 bit)?

If you want to update the BIOS, then you must first switch to the OS preinstalled Toshiba!
I doubt that the BIOS update has been tested with Windows 7 at the moment and in my opinion, there is a high risk that something went wrong during the BIOS update process!

    Andrea,

First of all. You cannot reinstall Windows XP without CD.
Second, a download of Windows XP isn't illegal, I don't think you will get all the answers here to know where to download a copy of Windows XP.
Better call the computer manufacturer instead.
