  You need a program to open any document.

  Change the programs that Windows uses by default:

  4. Let the window open orders and "hard wire" your laptop to connect to Internet
  5. Type the following commands in the black command prompt window and press ENTER after each one

     ipconfig/all > "% userprofile%\Desktop\testdata.txt".
     Notepad '% userprofile%\Desktop\testdata.txt '.

  6. Copy and paste the contents of the testdata.txt file into your answer here

  Please note that there are 2 for the second command ipconfig > characters.

  You can close and remove testdata.txt (which is located on your desktop) and close the command prompt window.

  Thanks for posting the details of your system. I'm skeptical about the "CompTool0234 Community Toolbar". Could you disable some add-ons and see if that helps.

  On this tab:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Plugins category

  Disable «Conduit Plugin»

  On this tab:

  Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) button > addons > Extensions category

  Disable the CompTool0234 community toolbar.

  Then very probably a link will appear to restart Firefox to make the change. Does make a difference?

  Have you checked your download folder? Also you can put where you want to save a file to the desktop as, for example.   Hello.  I use Photoshop CC 2014 on a MAC with os x LION.  I also have Photoshop CS6 installed.  When I double-click on a file in Bridge CC, it always opens in CS6.  If I say 'OPEN WITH Photoshop CC 2014', or if I drag the file directly to the CC, 2014 in the Dock, it will open in CC.  Since I want to double click or hit back in the deck, I constantly have to wait that the file opens in CS6, CS6 abandonment then opens another way to get into Photoshop CC 2014.  I tried to disable CS6 by hiding, but double-clicking Bridge has nothing.  Any ideas why this happens?

  1. first create a copy of the image as a back up

  2. check this link below to enable filename extensions

  3. now, please try it out below mentioned steps.

  • Right-click on the file-properties
  • Under general, change the file for the name.tif file extension
  • Click on apply and then ok

  Now open the file and see if that helps
