  No, it's just a system update.  It is a lot like an update of the service pack in the old days.  I recommend it to everyone, 8.1 Windows is so much better than 8.0.  All around, it corrects problems as much, making more user-friendly interface and huge performance (it uses about half the memory).

  You will not. SIM cards hold no content by the user. They are only used to connect the phone to your # accurate on your account for use of phone data and cell phone.

  If you purchased Word on CD, it's no big deal; just reinstall it after the factory restore. If it was bought online, copy the file downloaded to a CD and then reinstall it later.

  Is there a particular reason, why you want to do a restore complete? Have you problems? If so, you can try asking here on how to fix them and do not have to do a restore, reinstall all your programs and all of the updates and service pack 1.

  Unfortunately, there is no simple way to transfer your SendNow files to send. You will need to download them from SendNow and download them from Adobe send. Note that only files can be downloaded. The history of tracking, or any other information that sent you, cannot.

  You need to speak clearly. I had the same thing happen. It took a few tries but Siri has finally opened apps for me.

  An upgrade maintains your files, a custom installation does not work. It's a good idea to back up your files before upgrading to Windows 7.
