• iBooks Widget Audio question (leading edge)

  Hello, my name is Dominic Redding. I worked on a HTML5 widget for an iBook (stable via iBooks author). I had a problem that I can't find a solution for (I checked through these forums, the Apple forums and some other forums, and each "fix" missed me). I implement my audio through the implementation of audio native from the edge (using the latest version), and then assign the room a div visibly out of the scene. My problem is:

  I have audio in my project that triggers whenever a button is tapped. Preview of the browser Ctrl + return, everything is A-OK. When I put the .wdgt in iBooks author and post it on an iPad, the audio won't play entirely. When I test the .ibook on Mac iBook, everything works perfectly. When I test the .ibook on an iPad, it fails again. I use .m4a audio files.

  I'm trying to figure out how to get the audio to play on an iPad (or why it will not play on the iPad) and I need help. Thank you for your time.

  I thought about it. I tested the audio I was jQuerying against animate audio set to play in the dashboard interface. The audio interface of Edge played it perfectly, so I looked through my rating. SYM.$("element") [0] (edge) .play; Restores the sound at its beginning. I put audio to have currentTime = 0 and then play, which is somehow messed up the order of audio playback and prevented his on the iPad.

• Designated replacement cartridge Deskjet 6840 does not fit

  My cartridge three-color HP Deskjet 6840 #97 on ink was insufficient. I tried to replace it with a #99 Photo. He did not fit into the slot, that I had removed the #97. It turns out that there is a ridge on the top of the #97 which is shifted to the right of the axis of the cartridge. The #99 has a ridge that is offset to the left of the central axis and interferes with a piece for the printer and thus, it can accommodate so not entirely (installation). The manual indicates that the Tri-Color #95 or 97 #, color #99 and #100 grey all work in the 6840.  Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the #99 knitting (other that cannibalize the cartridge or the printer)?

  Note: I have 4 cartridges #99, I intend to use for photo printing and this can be a problem for big $.

  The 99 cartridge actually goes into the black cartridge slot. The 97 and 99 are free cartridges because the 99 adds three additional colors (light cyan, light magenta and black in the photo).

• Why not the widget exported open in iBooks?

  I'm testing the road to publication iBooks. I can successfully publishes an animation to the iBooks widget format that will install and run as a Mac widget. It will also import in iBooks author and display the page in the Preview on the iPad. However when she is committed to open, the rectangle of widget expands and disappears immediately.

  To reproduce, take one of the animations state final lesson (lesson of re-use, for example), publish on iBooks widget, import as html Widget in iBooks author and preview on the iPad. It's apparently successfully, but the widget immediately blanks out at the opening.

  Any ideas?

  OK - some progress...

  The problem seems to lie with preview author iBooks, since we have the same problem when previewing a widget of the Hype.

  If you post a file .iBook and copy manually in books ipad with iTunes, then the problem of removal of weft disappears.

  The animations that play seem ok (like the lesson of reuse).

  However, the Animations that use javascript (like the lesson Extend) interaction does not work correctly.

  I'm working on an iBook for a group. While iBooks is in my opinion the best platform not everyone uses IOS devices. Can I publish my body on Amazon and Android for more coverage?

  To use iBooks, author of books to read on non - iOS devices, you will need to build your book using one of the models of epub.  Others produce .ibooks format, which cannot be read on Kindle or Android.   Apple pages can also produce epub format.

  In general, for info on how to make books for Amazon, it is best to consult their own forums.

• Album cover for ibook for multi touch book

  I presented a multi touch book several years ago and the introduction to the book page has automatically used as the cover art. I have sought for centuries the current notes but cannot see if this still applies. Can you please clarify?

  When I've looked at producer IBook the first page indicates that the cover art is automatically extracted from the submitted book...

• Microsoft Designer mouse Bluetooth unusable after reboot

  I need to remove and add the device after each start.

  Windows 7 64-bit SP1

  Bluetooth support services is set to "automatic" (also tried auto - delay)
  "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is disabled

  When it works (after adding the device), information on troubleshooting Bluetooth tab in the mouse properties designer reads:

  Connection: Standard

  Last connection: connected

  After a reboot:

  Connection: authenticated

  Last connection: connected

  Any ideas?

  The version of the BIOS/Date: A08 Dell Inc., 18/02/2014

  Unfortunately, it's a working PC, so I can't update the BIOS.

  However, this mouse Designer replaces an old Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 that worked well on this PC until he started having problems with the button wheel mouse and intermittent connectivity (solved in electric bike to the mouse).

  The designer mouse works very well after adding it until I restart - even if the PC is turned on for days and if I turn the mouse power on and off several times. I tried not to put the PC on standby and to see how the mouse works later... I'll give a reference and also see if I can connect to another PC to see if it has the same.

• Conditional replace Function

  Good afternoon everyone,

  I am trying to assign which I am certain is a basic replace function on certain values in the first column of a table depends on the value of the second column. So if I run the SELECT simple below I get the following:

  Now, say I wanted to replace the values of "Col_name_1" for negative values if the value in the same line of "Col_name_2" is 1. Which gives the following result.

  , What would be the most effective way to do it. I thought using logic in the sense of if (Col_name_2 = 1), and then replace (col_name_1, '-&col_name_1') the syntax of this is obviously incorrect, I was wondering how I could produce a "function to replace conditional" which affect only certain rows in the table of results depends on the State.

  Once more, always post CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements for the sample data and show the exact results you want from this data.

  If targkey is a string, you can prepend a hyphen with the |   operator, like this:

  It is preceded by a hyphen to targkey when changesign = 1.  That is what you want, or there are a few exceptions (for example, targekey already begins with a hyphen or is null)?  If there is no special cases like this one, include examples in the sample data, results and explanations.

  Why Why oh why oh why is the cc Design view completely different from live view - live mode view is good, but virtually nothing is editable. How the hell can Adobe market a web as wysiwyg design tool when design mode is terrible. I saw old messages regarding this versions in 2014 and 2015.

  I'm not completely illiterate code but I would change the drawings etc. without digging deeper into the code. It's 2016 I stopped using the ages of tables there are available to my creations, but it seems that all cram into a table is the only way to get a half-decent idea of what is happening in design mode. I use a Mac which probably didn't help, but in the interest of the essential may be easier not more difficult.

  If it is true that Dreamweaver is really only for kernel developers hard, they should say so and start promoting Muse or similar for people who don't want to spend hours crafting code in all the different possible options such java php etc to produce a well-designed functional Web site.

  Design view has always been horrible to show you the design of the site, but some things worse.

  It does not run scripts of any type and more advanced css is completely invisible to the it. Code errors will also break Design mode almost instantly. Make sure you're validating your code under file > validate > validate the current document (W3C) or going directly to the validator online at http://validateo.w3.org/nu. Pay close attention to any structural errors listed are those that make the Design view go nuts.

  For what it's worth, DW is not really a wysiwyg program in the strictest sense of the acronym, regardless of how many guys at Adobe marketing wanted to believe this claim. DW requires a solid knowledge of html, css and javascript to get the best out there for static sites. These days, we use floats CSS, margin, padding and display properties to build our page layouts. While the program comes with base layouts, you can click to start with, do not understand the desire of "why it works" quickly cause massive frustration levels.

  If you really don't want you your hands dirty with the code, or simply do not have the time to become familiar with the basics of html and css, Adobe Muse would probably be a better option for you.

  I have a combobox that allows to select a region.  On the last tab of the dialog box properties of the combobox I Specifies the name of the variable 'Region '.

  Unfortunately, you can not enter ActionScript directly in Cp4. Regarding your problem, try to set the variable in the variables dialog box. In this way, it should be available to the peak action and the widget should replace the value when it is run. Defines variables in widgets are unavailable in the actions of the advance, unless you define them.

• Dynamically set widget values

  I'm starting to experiment with variables and widgets. I'm still new in Captivate 4. In particular, I've been tinkering with the PieChart.swf widget.   I think you mix things up. Some widgets use variables, such as the certificate Widget. But this isn't the case, IMO, with the pie chart widget. Nowhere in the Advanced tab, variables are mentioned. You can insert the value of a variable in a text caption with the sum of $ before and after the variable, but the settings in the pie chart are not only the text. He is the designer of the widget which decides to use variables, in this case that no variable is used.

  Help text that you link is for a Widget Designer, not for the user of a ready to use Widget.

  I hope this was clear enough? If you want a widget like this table, but with variables, it will have to be programmed.

• I can build an android application using xcode?

  I just published two animated story and books to interactive games for children to the store iBooks using iBooks author with tumult Hype and IAD producer.  I want to develop for an android device.  Is it possible to do with xcode?  I did a lot of research and there are so many different tools to use for the android that I don't know where to start.  I thought since I've been xcode I could use it.  Can anyone help with this issue?

• Why Muse crash when using embedded HTML

  Hi, I am currently using a trial version of Muse, I love this programm. I'm used to working in InDesign and Muse done all this seems very logical to me.

  I'm working on the tutorial for KatiesCafe, part 4. His starts by "with the help of embedded HTML to display a blog on a site of Muse'. When I paste the link as shown in the tutorial, or choose Insert HTML, Muse crashes.

  Can you please help me, because now I'm stuck. And that I would complete the entire tutorial.

  This thread is a change Google made in June that Muse has long workarounds included for (if you don't see this accident in current versions).

  This recent crash is due to a different very recent change for the video player from YouTube. There is a video widget YouTube replacement available on the exchange of the Muse http://muse.adobe.com/exchange-library/youtube-widget-without-poster> which avoids this accident by not providing an image of the poster in Muse Design and no display video mode overview of the Muse. It is an interim solution while we are working on changes that are much more important to reduce the probability of this kind of compatibility problems in the future.

  Anyone know where I could find documentation on how to edit a presentation BPM?
  
  The BPM 10 g tutorial for new users describes how to create a presentation, but little about how to edit.

  The best way to think of presentations object BPM is tabular. The table has rows and columns inside the presentation with individual cells in them. A single object BPM presentation design element widget (text, text box, Date Picker, Radio button, etc.) is placed inside a specific cell.

  By dragging a widget design element in a presentation:

  You have problems by dragging a widget in the presentation is because you can't drag a widget in a cell which is already filled with another widget. Remove the widget in the cell, and you will be able to drag the new widget in the empty cell. If you drag a widget in a cell, you must then associate the widget of the field with a specific attribute for the object of BPM. With the widget still selected in the presentation, click on the 'Properties' tab on the right-> click the field to the right of the property ' Data referenced ' and select the attribute of the BPM object you want to link to this widget.

  Remove a widget in the cell of the presentation:

  -right mouse click on the widget-> 'delete '.

  Replace a widget existing a new widget in the cell of the presentation with another widget:

• HP Deskjet 932C printer: printer cartridge failure

  Printer has started to produce the reddish-pink text instead of black.  Images of similar reddish pink color.  Cartridge printer in the State reported no problem.  Replaced the anyway black print cartridge and printer produces black text.  Replace the color cartridge (namely that some bands has been removed) and printer produces sharp images in black and white instead of color.  It seems that the printer thinks that he was ordered to ignore the color cartridge but I can't verify that.

  How can I gewt correct color printing back?
