HP Deskjet 932C printer: printer cartridge failure

Printer has started to produce the reddish-pink text instead of black.  Images of similar reddish pink color.  Cartridge printer in the State reported no problem.  Replaced the anyway black print cartridge and printer produces black text.  Replace the color cartridge (namely that some bands has been removed) and printer produces sharp images in black and white instead of color.  It seems that the printer thinks that he was ordered to ignore the color cartridge but I can't verify that.

How can I gewt correct color printing back?

What operating system? The document here, we address the printer print in B & W instead of color.

I suggest printing a page of diagnosis as described in the document here:

Running a test diagnostic

  1. Turn on the printer.

I replaced the cartridge three colors (HP60) both the black print cartridge (HP60).  Exactly the same ones that I took out.  The Tricolor cartridge shows "ready", but I get an error on the black one, saying that the cartridge is missing or incompatible with the device.  Gently, I cleaned the contacts according to the help file.   It is not always recognize the black cartridge.

It would be correct to assume that the reset is universal. Are these genuine HP cartridges cartridges or have they ever been filled or refurbished? What I want do you is remove the cartridge that does not work, and with a non fluffy cloth and a bit of water, I would like to wipe the power at the rear of the cartridge contacts (the copper bumps) and the corresponding connections inside the machine. You want to unplug the printer for the second half.

Then back - turn on the machine and replace it. Also, I know that this cartridge is new, but have you tried another cartridge to see if it is the cartridge that is defective?

  • Deskjet 6988 print cartridge 'door' - cannot access ink cartridges

This printer has been giving me excellent service for many years, so I'm not surprised that he can do a little wonky. Yet, any advice would be most appreciated!

Recently, this "door" has popped up, preventing me access to print cartridges:

It seems to say "turn the printer off," or perhaps "turn off and on again," that would be logical, as requiring to do her little dance and restarts. MOST of the time, it does no good. The cartridges just sitting there, and the door rest.

However sometimes turning market causes a mechanism to move, and the door up and down and sometimes stays down.

I saw no references to this 'gate' in the manual. Anyone know what it's called?

Is there a way to force the printer to zero and drop the door? A factory reset did not work.

    Thank you!

    This fixed/figured it out!

Remove the Panel on the right side of the printer. It's like two hooks on the top and two clips on the bottom. Gently pull down to unclip. Upwards, you will see the mechanism that connects the cover to a switch. For me, the wire time the "capture" disengaged, and I need to restore the link so that it is engaged when the lid rises or falls. After that I did, the cartridges behaved normally, and the mysterious "door" is never in the way.

  • Windows 7 does not send print to deskjet 932c with parallel connection, help

I got a new hard drive installed and old a cloned.  Now, I can not print to hp deskjet 932C printer in Windows 7. Printer is connected with a parallel cable. Has worked before but not after the hard drive cloning. Help

    1. There are two ports on the Deskjet 932.  One is for a parallel cable, it has a 25 pin plug on the end that connects to the computer and a PIN 34 taken to the side of the computer.  The other port is located right next to the parallel port.   This port uses a USB A - B cable, which is what you need.  The page here can help.

    I suggest the following:

    1. Buy a cable USB A - B, the right length (quite a long time to reach the computer to the printer.)
    2. Turn the printer off.
    3. Disconnect the current parallel cable to the printer and the computer.
    4. Turn on the printer.
    5. Connect the USB cable to the printer.
    6. Plug the other end of the USB cable to the computer.

    The page here can help.

  • Printer HP Deskjet 3845 print in purple instead of black

I just changed the ink on my HP Deskjet 3845 printer cartridges and now it started printing everything in purple. Before changing the cartridge, the colors were very good. I tried the contact on the cleaning cartridges and that did not help. There is no error message. I tried to put the old black cartridge in to test it, and even though it was really faded, it was printing in black. Color ink seems to work very well I printed a test page and the colors are out. I also tried to print that a document without any ink color in and a blank page came out. The problem must be something to do with the black ink cartridge, but I don't know what it is or what to do!

    Hi paterson14,

Is the cartridge OEM new or revised?

This cartridge is defective. You have to buy another cartridge installed in the printer. Let me know what you find?

  • DeskJet 932C

My old DeskJet 932C printer will not work with my laptop Toshiba Satellite L675?

    Hello harpgirl.

You can download the Installation Wizard of HP printer from this page. It is a tool that will help you to install the appropriate driver for your operating system. It is not mentioned in your post which OS is installed in your PC Toshiba laptop, but it's Windows 7 or higher, the wizard can help.

  • DeskJet 932C, you can print with just replace the black ink cartridge?

My question is basically simple.  The printer DeskJet 932C can operate with only black ink?  Color ink was empty for a while now, but the printer kept working, printing in black and white.  Due to the cost of the ink and the absence of any income available, we just changed the black ink cartridge.  The problem now is that the printer will not print not even black and white.  Do I have to scrape some funds to replace the color ink cartridge, or y at - it another way to get the printer working with just the new black cartridge?

    Thank you in advance!

    Michael Sponable

    Hello

Your printer can print in black only, but up to a certain point , you need tri-cartouche color otherwise it will not print. It's a little late now, otherwise if you only need to print B & W, a monochrome laser printer is very good and much cheaper to run (in terms of cost per page).

    Kind regards.

  • DeskJet 932c with Vista 64 bit, a way to enable printing 2 sides?

I have a Deskjet 932c that prints very well with my Vista 64 bit OS.  HP says that drivers are in the operating system.  When I used this printer with an XP operating system, I got many printing options, including printing 2 sides.  A way to achieve (except printing manually one by one odd number pages and then turning to print even pages)?

    Hello

I guess you are referring to the two-sided printing module, it is available in the driver of in-BONE as well.

Enter the control panel > printers.

Right click on the 932C icon, and then click Properties.

    Click the device settings tab.

Set duplex printing as installed, then the option must appear in the Printing Preferences dialog box.

    Kind regards

    Shlomi

  • Failure 0 x 61000031 for HP Deskjet 3520 printer?

I'll put up my HP Deskject 3520 for the first time. Configuration information that I indicate that I am supposed to connect the HP printer, install the print cartridges and then turn it on. The printer display reads "printer failure 0 x 61000031 ' there is a problem with the printer or ink system. Turn the printer off, then on. If you continue to receive this message, contact HP.

I tried to turn the printer off and turning back on it (both connected to the computer with a USB cable and not). I always get the error message. The printer gives me even the screen to try a print test, calibrate, cartridges etc. When I try to lift the lid to check the cartridges, the printer indicates that the ink cartridge door is open, but it does not move the cartridges where I can take a peak at them. I just bought this printer today. Am I right in thinking that I should just take it back to the store and exchange for a new one?

Given that the error occurs regardless of whether the USB cable is connected to my computer and that I myself never even at the stage where I could wireless configuration, I kind of doubt that it is important what operating system I use. However, if it's important, I use 64-bit Windows 7 Home Premium with Service Pack 1.

    Hi polkadotorchid,

The error is caused by the mechanism of cartridge which is stuck to its original position.

Is it possible to manually move this mech postiion home cartridge toward the center of your printer?

If you are unable to move freely, you will need to call our technical support at the 800-474-6836. If you do not live in the United States / Canada region please click the link below to get help from your region number.

  • HP Deskjet 690C: HP Deskjet 690C printing with only the black cartridge?

I have an old deskjet 690C I have a while to use it. So since I need to print only the text is it possible to install only the black cartridge and print as ink backup? Also are there drivers for windows 7 64 bit? And finally this printer works with a parallel to usb on a modern PC adapter?

    Thank you

According to me, the Deskjet 690C requires both cartridges to be present for printing, although you might have a cartridge empty color installed.  The 'ink backup mode' feature was added later at the 690c Deskjet printer.

There is a Windows 7 x 64 driver through Windows Update, see the image below.

Regarding the USB-parallel converters, these can be problematic.  The models in the posts here have been verified to work on Windows 7 x 64 by users in the forum.

  • DeskJet 3070 printing with cartridges installation

I installed a printer HP Deskjet 3070 for a neighbor. During installation, I used cartridges HP 364 'standard' instead of the cartridges 'setup '. The installation program continued--I've learned since. I installed now the cartridges 'setup' and that you have now configured the printer successfully.

Can you tell me if we continue using the installation as usual - print cartridges until they are empty or need to change standard cartridges now?

On the subject of standard cartridges, we have not been able to the caps on the top of each cartridge. Our concern is that they can dry and be unusable. Do you know how long (very roughly) the cartridges last if they are not stored in this way. Should we switch to the standard cartridges now rather than waiting the implementation empty?

continue to use your cartridge installation first and when they will be empty use the cartridges 'standards', if the CAP custom fit more on the 'standard' cartridges put them in something sealed so that they don't dry out until you need it.

  • Deskjet 1000 printer - J110a: printer prints a blank Page - HP anthentic color and black ink cartridges are full

Used this printer for months without problem until he ran out of color ink. Buy genuine HP color ink on amazon and replaced the empty color ink.  Installed the latest driver. Printer seems to work fine except the rest blank page. HP Print and Scan Doctor 4.9 finds no errors, no problem.  Cleaning print head. Aligned printhead printed normal test result on the page. • DeskJet F4280 - print a cartridge alignment Page every few minutes

My F4280 has decided to printe cartridge alignment pages, whenever I turn it on or randomly as he just sits there.  When I put the page alignment and hit the resume (because he told me to do) he goes through an internal movement, sits there for a while, THEN displays another page of chartridge alignment.  Tried reloading the software, but problem still them.

    Hello ImJustAvg,

This should help. When another page comes out of the printer, first disconnect the computer then place the page on the scanner and hit the resume. After restarting makes the printer to see if it will always print a page. If it continues to do, he checks the quality of the page. There must be black on it and at least 1 color. not to mention the color in the picture of the printer.

  • DeskJet 932C - the power light is on and the cartridge flashing

Hello! I know my DeskJet 932C is 'old', but it seems to be in excellent condition.  First time that I had a problem.  The power light is on and the cartridge is flashing.  When I open the cover, the plateau of the cartridge moves to the far left.  The arrow points to the unfortunate color cartridge.  The missed years ago color cartridge.  I use my printer to print B & W, so I've been printing with the empty cartridge in place for years.

I removed a reinserted the color and B & W cartridges and turn on the power and turns off.  I used the HP print and scan doctor, and it's scan does not have something wrong, I clicked on print a test page, and nothing happens.  The test page is listed as 1 document in the queue.   Status: error - printing.

The printer has been in its current position on my desk for years.  It was not known of any trauma... None does damage... no power failure.  It's clean.  Has been connected to 4 laptops and uninterrupted service.

I prefer not to buy a new color cartridge.

Would appreciate help.  I would like to know what it means and if there is a solution.

    Thank you!

    Focus21

The printer will perform electrical cartridges to light control and a few other times.  If an error printing can be blocked to avoid damaging the printer.  Clean the contacts of the cartridge as shown in the document here can solve the problem, otherwise you will probably need to replace the color cartridge.  The 932 Deskjet will allow printing with an empty cartridge, but for years, the cartridge may fail electrically and needs to be replaced.
