  Press Windows key + R

  Type: slui.exe 3

  Press enter

   

  Enter the new key, and then click next to activate via the Internet.

  So I got the serial number for the standalone edition Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 students and teachers that I bought on the Adobe online store.  After downloading, I received a serial number.  When I installed the software and tried to activate using the provided serial number the pop-up box said that the number I provided me for a version upgrade and that I needed to provide the serial number of the previous installation. something I did not because I've ever owned before Lightroom.

  Before you start, I was very careful in the choice of the FULL version, please see the image attached to the basket that clearly indicates that I bought the full version.  In addition to the e-mail with the serial number gave no indication that I bought the upgrade version.

  So my question is, how do I get a serial number not update that works with the software I have installed?

  A managed after removing my PCIe x 16 graphics card, used my graphics card built-in, also removed unnecessary devices (printer sound, internet,) before a successful... not a problem at all... almost as easy as Windows 7 :).. also changed the hard drive and no dvd drive before installation... no problem at all.   Yes, you can perform a clean installation with the Windows 7 upgrade version. Just start on the Windows Vista desktop, insert the Windows 7 DVD click "install now". When the menu appears, select custom (advanced option) to a clean install procedure.

  Yesterday, I bought and downloaded the Upgrade Version of Lightroom 6 (order number AD018505688).  To complete the installation of the upgrade, I need the serial number for my Lightroom 5.  Unfortunately, I was able to locate only the installation but DVD no box with the serial number on this subject.  Proof of purchase, B & H Photo, for my 5 Lightroom is attached.  Please advise me on how I can proceed with the activation of my Lightroom 6 upgrade.  I think that my proof of purchase must be sufficient to provide you with directions on how to complete the installation of my Lightroom upgrade of version 6.  I'm sure you've had other customers with similar problems.
