  I went in the sounds of change and menu alerts then sounds for the profile selected and changed the notifier of text message. Every other Notifier ringtone and message I changed it (i.e. e-mail) worked well. It is not a huge problem just annoying. Any advice?

  As with some of the other posts, I read that it was a matter of familiarization with the phone. There are two reasons would not work the tone of the text message: 1) number format seems better work when entered 17031234567 rather then have dashes or leaving one offshore. (2) If a person has a personalized ring tone message should be changed, and because I had that each text that I received from someone with a custom ring tone had a tone preset text. I hope this helps someone who had the same problem.

  In fact finally found the answer here. When I downloaded the software fbdownloader, it installed other things. Something viral tube and another similar to google search engine, but not google. forget the name but once I removed and unenabled them everything was back to normal. Too bad keep what might have been a good free program that they attach themselves to the crappy stuff

Maybe it's in a safety program that can't get rid of pop-up spam.  I had AVG but somehow the program has been disabled by the pop up.  I have since partially uninstalled AVG to download Microsoft security program.  But the Microsoft program cannot complete Setup because the error message there are some programs to be installed.  I uninstalled from a Norton program which also displayed more soft PC difficulty I wanted not Norton was uninstalled succcessfully but Sweet PC trouble keeps popping up and I can not uninstall completely.

  I was very irritating click.  I tried several things, but can't get rid of it. I made sure windows updates are completed.  I tried to cut the system sounds.  I ran antivirus scans.  I run malware scans.  Nothing comes.  I checked all programs and processes running, and nothing seems to be out of the ordinary. I can't watch videos or listen to anything without the irritating ticking noise.  The only thing that has worked is to cut the volume (but then I can't watch or listen to anything because there is no noise at all).

  I am running Windows Vista Home Edition, Service Pack 1.

  Any ideas?  That noise is driving me crazy!

  If you have recently installed the software, you try to run the system restore which will repair back from the computer to the point before the installation of the software.

  To restore the operating system to an earlier point in time, follow these steps:

  a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program.

  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

  b. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.

  c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.

  d. click Finish.

• Win7 x 64 HomePremium - it seems that I can't get rid of an old share name, despite a complete reinstallation of the operating system. Where are stored the share names? Is it possible to change this number?

  In a previous installation, I got the share name of "DData." I did a reinstall & sharing name appeared when I tried to use a different name. I tried to remove it through "Computer records management/Shared/actions." I'm assuming that the share name is imported from an old file NTUSER.dat. I don't really know where the actions are stored. I searched the registry for it, nothing helps. How can I get rid of this useless part?

  Share names are kept in the system hive, not in the user hive. You can remove them as follows:

  1 log in under an administrator account.

  2. click on the start planet.

  3. type the three letters cmd in the search box.

  4. press on Ctrl + Shift + Enter

  5. click on "run as Administrator".

  6. type the following commands and press ENTER after each:
  net share
  (to see a list of all actions)
  NET share "DData" / delete
  (to remove this part)

  Try these steps, could help u...

  A traction battery restart (remove the battery if your BB is on)... now press the trackpad n hold for 3-5 seconds... Repeat the n 1 - 2 times, and then reinsert the battery n let your BB start... now, see if your trackpad works or not... even if your trackpad starts to work, this could be a temporary solution...

  For permanent solution, visit BB Service n get your trackpad replaced... Take a backup b4 that cz after the replacement, the operating system is reinstalled...
