I can connect to the local network, but not to the internet
Why in an internet connection, I can connect to the Local network, but not to the Internet.
I have valid IP address and configuration is good.I recommend you read some threads here in the forum about similar issues.
If this problem occurs using the WiFi network, then check if you can use the connection to the local network.
Using the WiFi network, you must check if the common WLan parameters are favourable;
Check if the encryption key is right; turn off filtering by mac address, check the TCP/IP protocol settings if it has been set to automatic, disable the firewall settings, rest you WLan router, check if you connected to the right SSID.Good bye

Computer connects to the network, but not to the Internet, connect to the only local
Hello world
OK, so I have a HP computer with the installed version of Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit. I've had it for almost 2 years now and have had no problems connecting to Internet... until now.
I can connect to networks... both wireless and cable, but I can not get Internet. I used the IP, subnet mask, gateway and server settings DNS to another computer that works with this specific local network just to see what happens... my computer has failed.
Until recently, I could connect to this WiFi connection in a coffee shop, but the last time I tried it didn't work. I've connected to the network but not the Internet. He told me that the DNS server did not. I'm starting to think that something is wrong with my computer.I saw that the solution for some people running the Norton removal tool, however I had uninstalled Norton almost as soon as I got my computer 2 years ago and ran McAfee instead. I don't think that Norton should have an impact on me more.
Is there a solution to this problem... or I'll just have to try everything that is out there?
Thanks for your help!
Hi MomPlaysBass,
Finally, my problem has been resolved - it wasn't my computer after all. The modem may only be connected to a computer. If you want to connect to another computer, you can connect the computer to the modem and then put it back. My computer worked fine after that. Whenever we want to switch between computers, even if I have to reset the modem.
I don't think you have the same problem, but just in case, you can try to reset your modem - it's a button on the back or a small hole that you can reach with a pen... Hold the stylus for about 5 sec or maybe a bit more and then let go. That should reset your modem and might help you with your problem. Your computer should also have created a restore point... If all else fails maybe you can try to get back to the final point where your computer worked.

Internal network can not access the external IP
I recently installed a firewall 506e to include a new IP block for our external interface. Origionally we used a PIX 515 to do a larger block of the IP, but he has run out of space.
I have set up the new block on the 506e and tested out successfully connectivity. I am able to ping and connect to internal an external network computers, but the internal network will NOT connect. Pings or HTTP tries the deadline. Here is a sample of the config that is used:
access-list 101 permit tcp any host 207.219.xx.xx eq www
static (inside, outside) 207.219.xx.xx 192.168.0.65 netmask 255.255.255.255 0 0
Access-group 101 in external interface
Please note that the internal network is NOT going through this PIX to reach the outside world. Only the machines that use the new IP blocks use this PIX.
All internal addresses are 192.168.0.x, regardless of which is their default gateway.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Client vSphere 5.0 works on network, but not via the SSH tunnel
Hoping someone can help you.
Seems that others have this problem as well.
Can connect to the network, but not through an SSH tunnel.
On the network, I am invited to accept/ignore a SSL certificate. This does not happen when trying to connect remotely (via an SSH tunnel).
During troubleshooting, I port passed almost all the ports TCP, starting w / ports 80, 443 and 902.
Through the SSH tunnel, via a browser, I can successfully access https://127.0.0.1 (VMware server), but the client software will not complete the connection, w / error message: «...» "The client could not send a request to the server."
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you.
Managed to understand this myself, having invested in a way more time I should have.
This announcement in the hope that it will help others.
In your SSH client, port forward with the help of one local loop, IP OTHER THAN 127.0.0.1 (such as 127.0.0.2 for example).
Port 127.0.0.2:443 before--> IP:443 target
127.0.0.2:902--> target IP:902
127.0.0.2:903--> target IP:903

Network does not accept the DHCP IP.
My printer before was on a network with IP 192.168.1.x. Now , it's on a network with IP 10.0.0.x. However, when I try to put it upward, while the installation program installation does see the new network, I still I get a message saying that my new network 10.0.0.x is incompatible with the old network 192.168.1.x. I have only a single network in my establishment. There are no other wireless networks in range. The 10.0.0.x network is the only network in my establishment. The SSID is new and unique. Therefore, in the context, the message is clearly misleading.
(Others in this forum have had the same problem, but as far as I know, none got a reply that solved the problem).
Temporarily, I use the printer via a USB connection, but I need to make it work wireless.
Thanks for any help.
Thatnks for the tip. I fixed it (more wireless actually), by temporarily changing my IP of 192.168.1.2 computers. Then, I was able to access the printer's internal web page. It develops that I changed the IP of the printer to the manual mode and it set. Internal once on the Web page, I was able to switch to automatic, and that fixed it. I got my computer on automatic IP and that fixed everthing.
Goes well at the end, as they say.

How can I REMOVE, do not add the Norton toolbar?
Norton toolbar started coming I opened FF. Yes, I can manually 'uncheck the box' in the toolbar in bottom-box to remove it from the screen. Nevertheless, he continues to come up on free. A nuisance. I do not see IT... at all.
Add-on toolbars are usually generated by an extension. You can disable the Norton Toolbar extension in the page modules. Either:
- CTRL + SHIFT + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then check Norton Toolbar on the right side and you should find an off button.
More information on the management of unwanted toolbars: remove a toolbar which took in charge your search Firefox or the home page.
