• First question media CS6 offline

  Hey people! Kinda stuck here... I have a large project with the help of dozens of files (stored on a hard drive of 4 TB) and about 90% of the media is offline. I can't understand why some are not. The project uses images of 3 cameras, multi-cam publishes and there are 13 nested sequences, as well. When I go to reconnect the media, files appear on the hard disk, but it's a Unix example file, not video files. I'm more perplexed. Any advice?

  Could be a problem of operating system.

  What are the files in the Finder?

  If they display the icon badly, maybe clean system with an IceClean Caches or Onyx would help.  Or just run all of the suite of utilities for cleaning.

  If they look only poorly in the Pr, I would delete the prefs.  If this does not help, I would like to reinstall PR.

• Is it normal for the taskbar icons load erratically, badly or not at all?

  Four things are needed for the transparent icon backgrounds:

  (1) Control Panel > system properties > advanced > Performance settings > VisualEffects - check "use shadows for icon labels.
  (2) make a right click on desktop-> rearrange icons by > lock Web items must be deleted.
  (3) If you have any web content on your desktop, transparency won't work. To search for web content: display properties > Desktop > Customize Desktop > Web - make sure that all check boxes are clear.
  (4) wallpaper must be an image file, not html. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  I see you have fixed this now, but I was about to tell you that you could have accommodated in the 'Bad' by its shortcut "I" tool.

  

  To save a custom toolbar, get everything the way you want and click on the button space work, click new workspace

  If I have to use a single screen, I use a variant of the Essentials workspace with minor panels collapsed and dock for main panels.  I call this Essentials 2

  

  It also seems to me that with all these options, it's stupid not to take full advantage of them, so I separate my most used instruments for their own group and double column toolbar to adjust the screen.  I tried to drop in the groups for the most used tool near the document image (right). I love it, but it take some time remembering the new positions.

  Sorry, but I don't remember this one look up when I installed AAXI on Win8. In all cases, you should be able to use the windows tools to change the icon that uses Acrobat.

• Bad icon in the Applications folder - good point about the taskbar

  I installed Firefox. Logo of Firefox to the applications folder, but what is displayed is a different logo, with a white circle and a slash through the circle (as the crossed red circle on one car don't symbolize the 'no parking' on a road sign). When I dragged this logo in the taskbar, the correct Firefox logo appears in the taskbar, but in my file applications, strange logo is still there. Don't know if this means that there is a problem with the installation - were displayed no error message during the installation.
