ID HTML applications opens Firefox Marketplace
I have a button with the id "apps". Whenever I click it, it opens a new tab with Firefox market site. No idea why this is happening? a key word in the firefox browser is apps?
Hmm, nothing happens when I click it in Firefox on Windows 7 26. This profile is personalized and may not have the default behavior, but as the button elements are not in shape, I think it's probably normal that nothing happen when they are clicked.

I tried and his good work in the browsers Chrome and Chrome, but not working not in firefox, I use firefox 46.0 (14.04 Edubuntu). The steps I did:
I. create the application launcher script

I use Firefox on Mac OS 10.9.2, 29, this problem has occurred on the OS 10.8 ~ and various other versions of FF. I use 29 simply because I like it!
The problem: Firefox is configured as the default browser in all directions it is possible to set as the default value. However, when I click on a URL from any application and Firefox is closed, Firefox opens opens, my last session of navigation tabs start, but the link does not open. I must return to the application and click the link again. This only happens on Firefox. I can put any other default browser and it will open the link in a closed state.
This is happening to me, same, on Mac OS X 10.6.8 but only since I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox, 32.0.1. I can click on a HTTP link in another application and Firefox becomes the active application, but it will not load a new tab for the link, as expected. Instead, it just sits there. I have to go back to the other application and click on the link a second time, during which point Firefox correctly open a new tab and load the destination URL.

Question
Recently, whenever I try to open Firefox, I get a dialog box: Exc in ev handl: TypeError: brw is not defined (JavaScript Application). Certainly, Firefox is my default browser.
After clicking on OK Firefox opens. You can probably get rid of it by disabling McAfee Site Advisor ending Firefox and then restarting Firefox and the reactivation of McAfee Site Advisor, ending at Firefox and restart Firefox. But it would probably be best to uninstall Site Advisor and reinstall (as opposed to the update)...
Please see the solution in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensions
"McAfee Site Advisor.(Windows): for best results, you need to uninstall McAfee Site Advisor from Control Panel > add/edit programs (programs and features). Restart the system. Then http://www.siteadvisor.com/ reinstalling and reboot the system. Installation of other waste (crapware) suggested applications.
Please mark "resolved" a response that will better help others with a similar problem - hope it was her.

Links in various applications more open Firefox 3.6.3. What has changed?
Before the update of Firefox, clicking on a link in my applications (for example: MS Office 2000, Secure Shell) would trigger the opening of Firefox and view the Web site.
After the upgrade process, Firefox does not open. Must open Firefox and paste it into the URL.
Using Firefox 4.0.1? Will show you the details of your system runs 3.6.3 which makes your comment about the upgrade of weird noise (?).
If you always use 3.6.3, click help | Check For Updates a.s.a.p. because there was a security breach at Comodo which is a certificate SSL provider recently whereby a number of fraudulent certificates were inadvertently issued. They allow an attacker to spoof the identity of any site including online banking and the version of Firefox you are using for the moment not will warn you that the site is a fake. The fraudulent certificates have been developed the index in v3.6.17 and beyond.
But assuming that 4.0.1 click Firefox, go to Options | Options | Advanced and in the general tab, check 'always check to see if Firefox is the default starting browser' and click on the button control.
In earlier versions, the menu path is via Tools | Options | Advanced.

Every time I open Firefox I get a display box window and then last site I visited with a message "it's embarrassing," and telling me to close tabs. There are no tabs opened, so there are no tabs to close, I just opened and have not done anything. I tried making sure to hit 'home' after I finished and the closure of the start page, but it still happens. Please tell me what I can do so that it opens correctly. Thank you.
A possible cause is that you first close all Firefox Windows and then close the Firefox application.
Some noted that closing of Firefox (Firefox > Quit) while the browser window is always open works for them.
If this does not always correctly, then you can consider to disable crash recovery, but note that you will lose the tabs open in case a real crash.

'Well, it's embarrassing... "message EVERY time I open Firefox
I now get the "well, it is annoying..." message EVERY time I open Firefox; I have my home page should always open 9 tabs - these are the SAME tabs I have open at startup for about 2 years - WHY now this annoying message? When I click on 'Close', the home page opens with all the tabs without problem, but the message is really irritating and does not seem to say anything, because it is not a problem with one of the tabs? NB: in case you ask ' why 9 tabs? Here are the essential websites that I use whenever I'm browsing/work; I can't keep them open manually every time. Please indicate why this message arrives as here seems to not be a problem, and how can I get rid of him? Thank you.

Whenever I open Firefox, I have to reinstall my apps. I already refreshed Firefox, but it still happens.
What applications? Do you mean the Add-ons?
It is possible that there is a problem with the files that store the registry extensions.
Delete the files (extensions.json, extensions.sqlite, extensions.ini) extensions.* and compatibility.ini in the profile folder of Firefox to reset the extensions registry.
New files will be created if necessary.

I tried the recommended two solutions to replace but none works. Firefox was slowly turning last night so I decided to update it. Did not help. Downloaded again, but now can't access it at all. I'm on a Mac using 10.9.5.
If he has problems with the update or with the permissions then best is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a fresh install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox application and save the file to disk on the desktop image
- Firefox 41.0.1: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
- Basket of the current application of Firefox (open the Applications folder in Finder and drag the Firefox application to the trash) to do a cleanup (re) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
- https://support.Mozilla.org/KB/installing+Firefox+on+Mac
Your personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose personal data as favorites when you uninstall and (re) install or update Firefox.

I have a loading time long when I open firefox 35. Then cannot connect to the server, but I can open then well websites through my list of bookmarks. Trying to reinstall, didn't help, makes google my homepage in the options does not help.
It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.
Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and allow your firewall to ask permission to get access full and unrestricted, again to install for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

Do a clean reinstall and delete the program folder before Firefox to (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.
- Download the full Firefox installation program and save the file to the desktop
https://www.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/all/
If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.
- Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.
Delete the program folder Firefox before installing newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (Windows 64 bit) "C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla.
- It is important to remove the Firefox program folder to delete all the files and make sure that there is no problem with the files that were the remains after uninstallation.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and will not be affected by a uninstall and (re) install, but do NOT delete personal data when you uninstall Firefox which removes all Firefox profile folders and you lose your data.

How to stop the Welcome tab in Firefox to open whenever I open Firefox?
I read two ways to try to stop this aid but they either did not apply or I couldn't do what they suggest.
Everytime I open Firefox to the end the home to the fire fox tab opens as well as my home page. It's only a little trouble turning off every time, but I would like to happen. What can I do?
I found another one where they say to delete something out of the about.config, but I wasn't able to delete the line. I could not find how to remove a line on the subject of config.

Hello
I guess you have been following this article: Firefox says it's just updated each time that it starts - how to fix. Note that the most recent Firefox 33.1 (your user watch 33.0 agent), so if you use later, try to update again and see if that makes the page appears for the last time.
If the above does not work, try to go through How to set preferences that will not save. It could be a third-party application like antivirus software prevents your update preferences or a user.js file.
Who Subject: config line did you mean erase? I don't think you can remove entries from the configuration, unless you added it yourself and remove it from the prefs.js file. You can reset the default preferences or change their values. It is not safe to blindly change your configuration as it has no influence on how Firefox is running.
I use the 34 version and have the same oroblem

Cannot open Firefox on Yosemite
I've updated to Yosemite Macintosh yesterday, and I can not open Firefox. I had 33.0.1 at the time and have since updated to 33.0.3, but this does not solve the problem.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to fix the problem and to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
