  no need to do so. the black screen issue is resolved. and the blue screen issue 0101 when you connect the ac charger cable, too. I had to adjust the power settings in windows. mininmal performance is set to 100 per cent for execution with the cable. If you set it to 5% as a battery-operated, is not breaking.   I have a Pavillion ZV61000 ()PN494AV) who works fantastic for the last 4 years.  I recently upgraded to 2 1gig RAM and installed a new drive hard and so re-loaded XP Professional from the "recovery" disk supplied with the laptop.

  I was at HP Total Care and updated all the drivers and to update.microsoft.com to update the drivers even more.

  However, the only thing that doesn't seem to work is built in the 5-in-1 card reader.  On the SD (2 giga) SD card, it wants me to format and when I try, he then refuses to format the card and my HP from my DSLR 4Gig SD card, will not show in my computer.   Shows Device Manager everything works fine.

  I had the same problem. In my case, that the room was too dark and the cam didn't work well. I had covered the lens of the webcam and after that I withdrew my finger from the webcam, webcam worked again. Notes; the room was very bright and the probe could catch the environment.
