  I assume you mean on external webcam connected to the USB port? Right?
  What happens if you connect the webcam to the laptop? Can win 7 recognize the device? Have you installed additional drivers for this webcam?

  When you start your laptop Camera Assistant software stop and try to configure the webcam in MSN. I deleted the Camera Assistant software from the boot list and I don't use any but I can use it with Skype whenever I want.

  It also works with MSN. Just start the Audio and video installation and in step 3, select Chicony USB 2.0 Camera Cam that you want to use. It works with my MSN.

  I was wondering if there was someone out there who could help me...

  I recently bought an A300/V01 and try to use the web camm for it, but whenever I open it on his own (not with msn or any other program), it freezes and will not work, and when I try to send my web cam on msn it tells me that there is no connected webcam.

  Go to the Toshiba website and to update the camera/Webcam driver.

  Also try closing/leave the camera software help.

  You should also install Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1), if it is not installed.

When it was finished, I took the computer home and Premium MSN mail program would not be executed. Error messages say files are missing.   as the title suggests, the webcam built-in in my Toshiba Satellite P300D-110 does not work correctly. Allow me to explain. Using the camera Assistance software I can take pictures and record music.   Can you please describe the steps how you try to do this? I have to ask you this question because it works fine on my laptop. When the recording is finished Player opens and you can see saved the film. This is the avi format and at the top of this player, you can see the path where the film is recorded.

  Strangest thing for me, is that you can not use it with Skype. OK for MSN is not perfect, but there is absolutely no problem with Skype. Make sure the settings and it should work somehow.

  Go to the Toshiba site us and download the latest version of the BIOS. Having the latest version of the BIOS is important on the new models.
