If I export bookmarks to html file, this file will include also all my folders of bookmarks?

I created a html of my favorites and a .json file to be uber-safe, but either / both of these files contain all of my bookmark folders or bookmarks only "others"? I've accumulated hundreds of bookmarks over the years and sorted into relevant folders to facilitate the conclusion.

Just open the bookmarks.html files yourself and see what is included.

  • published HTML file will not play in the browser. WHY!

I built a basic banner of HTML5 in Adobe animate CC 2015.1 Release.

    NO EDGE TO ANIMATE.

I click on the command + entry to export files and automatically Preview in Chrome and it works perfectly.

Then I drag the EXACT SAME HTML FILE just exported in the EXACT SAME CHROME BROWSER and it won't play.

Why? How am I suppose to send banners to the client to preview if nothing works outside the CC environment animate.

    It's incredibly frustrating.

You will find that this question has come here a lot. It's to do with browser security problems, if you use JSON files, they must be on a server somewhere. When you do a simulation test, he implemented a temporary server while it will work even if you used JSON.

You don't know what JSON is or think that you used, but something that uses it is spritesheets. If you want your test to work by double-clicking the HTML file, go to the publishing settings and deselect the option to make a spritesheet. Then she will work on-site as well as on a server.

Don't forget to send your client the file .js, .html file and all records of the sounds or images that have been created. It should be delete these records before making a publication after the deselection of the spritesheet option, because always, the folder contains the files of JSON mapping and texture, that won't be necessary.

    Hello

I don't think that you can do. When you try to play a file from a zip, I believe that only this file is checked out and open. Dependent files are still locked inside of the zip and the file you played cannot find them. I bet if you unzip the file into a folder, then try to read the HTML file, you will not see the questions.

  • No idea if the link to a PDF in the HTML file will be available on windows tablets 8?

I do an application of sale that links inside with our brochures.

These links should be updated, as the brochures are getting a lot of updates.

I thought to put the pdf files in the HTMLresources folder and place a button link to this file in the folder.

But it does not work on a Windows 8 tablet.

Is this something that is planned for a future release?

No work around, sorry. We will address this issue in our next release.

  • Import bookmarks from another computer firefox file will add to or replace the bookmarks firefox on the receiving computer?

I know this has been asked before but similar issues has been shown to me before were over a year old and the users were still on v3.n and since we are now on v16.n I thought I should probably ask just in case anything has changed. It seems that if I use a bookmarks HTML file then must be added instead to crush the bookmarks on the destination computer. Is this always the case? Thank you.

Import of bookmarks in a HTML file will merge bookmarks in HTML file in your existing bookmarks; you lose nothing, but it may result in bookmarks double if even the bookmark is already in your bookmarks and is also in the HTML file.

The restoration of a JSON file bookmarks won't replace your existing bookmarks.

  • How is it that when I add links in my Index.html file that would damage the design?

OK, well I made a template in Photoshop and then sliced it and it has exported as an HTML files of Images to use in Dreamweaver... First of all, it's what looked like my website design, until I added links...website.png

Photoshop generated HTML is not good for production sites.  It's really only for prototypes fast to show a client.  For best results, use Photoshop to slice and optimize images only.  Do not generate your HTML code for you.

  • Index.html file missing when I download Iweb site to go Daddy

So, I built a website using Iweb.

I downloaded on Godaddy using Fetch.

The files are all there in the correct folder, but the site does not open.

When the support of Go Daddy looked at the files, they said that the problem is the index.html file is missing.

It is a compressed, file index.html.gz, but they are not familiar with it and this isn't in the right format to use.

If someone else has had this problem and you know the solution? I tried to launch my site for 48 hours now.

Support said that everything seems to be fine.

    Thank you

It all depends on how you have downloaded from the site?

Have you downloaded your site folder or just the contents of the folder of your site?  If you have downloaded the site folder, then you need 2 files to index - an index.html file will be inside the site folder and the other will be sitting outside pointing in.

If you have just downloaded the content in your folder Public_html on GoDaddy, then you need an index.html file and that it is.

Don't know how you got index.html.gz.  What you need is one or two files index.html and that's all.

Republish your site new to iWeb to a local folder and check the files that have been produced and if the index.html file is there.  It should be, but there should be no zipped or other, just one or two files with index.html.

    They must be there.

This is the first site you've built?  If so, why choose iWeb?  Not sure that this is an unsupported product that has not been updated for at least 6 years now?

Remember to move on and using supported software.

  • Get the complete HTML file of url

    Hello world!

I'm working on a small project recently where I should pick up the announcement of the today's weather on the web.

So I use the HTML screws from the weather.com site.

The idea is that I'd like to know, the trend of the day (sunny, cloudy,...), and I thought I could do it two informations: from the small icons or text they always show on the Web site.

So I used the web Inspector of Firefox to find the information I need, and in Firefox, I find it very easily: it is written in the full text, either the icon is loaded into the html code, it is very easy to know what the weather from the HTML file will be.

Therefore, I thought I could just using VI from Labview analysis to find the information I need the HTML file loaded from the url.

But... I don't know why, Labview gives me the html is not completely identical to the Firefox gives me: some of the lines are missing, and of course, those that I need, because it would not be fun otherwise!

Anyone has an idea why this would happen?

I work with Labview 2014 for Mac.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello world!!

First of all, thanks a lot for your answers!

I finally found the problem, thanks to a King of HTML I work with

The problem is that when checking with the Inspector of Firefox, Javascript is taken into account, while is not in Labview. It is possible to get the HTML with Firefox by disabling javascript in everything: config. The watch inspector then same as Labview HTML gets, which allows you to easily find the part you are interested in.

    I hope that's clear!

Thanks a lot again for your answers everyone!

  • SWF, HTML files only work when the absolute path is entered, not on the index page

I have a strange problem: when I type the absolute URL to my SWF file, it works fine.

However, only the background image is displayed when the SWF file is embedded in the

"" "" home page. "" " Does anyone have an idea why this would be the case?

The images are loaded dynamically?  Given that the swf file is not in the same folder that the homepage, the SWF is perhaps mistargeting them.  When you load a swf in an html page, this page will become the base for any relative targeting.  So if the swf file can load the images in its own folder, you should have to move the images in the folder of the home page, or change the relative for them in the swf file path as if the swf file is in the folder of the html page.

  • I can't open a HTML file with linked flash

I have Flash CS3.  I created a flash file.  If I click on the SWF I have no problem to open it.  He plays.  It's very pretty.  I'm the man.

However, now when I try to publish, the HTML file will not work.  It says "windows cannot find this file, please make sure that you typed the location correctly.

I am double clicking on the file and do not type anything, in fact I considered check on Ebay to see if I could spend my PC for eyes.

The feature has worked before, this brings me to the conclusion that something has changed.  I tried to use the post parameter, I also tried to use Dreamweaver to embed the file and have also tried to manually insert the code necessary after having seen some on a Web site.

All these things produce the same result, windows can not (or not find the required file).

It is an odd one and very frustrating, can someone help me at all?

    Cheers in advance,

    Eoin

Click on file/publish settings/formats and tick html and swf (if they are not already checked) and click 'use default namespace'.

Click file/save as and navigate to a directory where you want to your fla, html and swf and you can find it again and click Save.

    Click on file/publish.

Now open the HTML in the directory where you saved your fla.

    any problem?

  • I used the function export bookmarks as HTML, but did not file.

I'm saving my favorites from Mozilla, so I can upgrade to Windows 7. I used the BOOKMARKS EXPORT TO HTML feature and saved to a known directory but not able to find the HTML file. I am currently using Windows XP.

You, record in which you did save this file?

Did you care to add the file the.html extension?

Note that Windows hides certain default file extensions.

Among them include .html, .ini and .js, .txt, so you can see the name of bookmarks without file extension.

You can see the type of actual file (file extension) in the properties of the file via the context menu in Windows Explorer.

If the file is not in the registered location then your anti-virus software may delete the file.
