    Hello

To reinstall Vista using the recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:

You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:

How to change the Boot order in BIOS:

    http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm

To reinstall from a Vista DVD from Microsoft, you change the Boot order and follow this information:

Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:

"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html

And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.

"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/84488-activate-Vista-phone.html

As it was explained to you, you need to reinstall 3rd party programs from the original media (from CD, DVD, etc.)

And this method back up to an external hard drive your files, photos, music, documents, etc.:

Why you want to reinstall your PC? It could be that you don't need to reinstall Windows, and solutions you could solve, which is recommended.

However, if you want to reinstall your Windows, it's NOT F8, F8 key belongs to Windows and he'll fix the problems. To reinstall Windows, you must use differently for Dell steps:

    http://support.Dell.com/support/topics/global.aspx/support/KCS/document?c=us&l=en&s=Gen&docid=DSN_347576&isLegacy=true

And for more details, you could visit the Dell Web site and search for your model and find the method to do this, or contact technical support:

  • How to: reload Windows Vista OP on my Toshiba LT!

I have a Toshiba Satellite P305 S8820. Last night after a reboot, it didn't start Windows (Vista).

I need help to find a solution to reload Windows Vista for my lieutenant an another LT (which I use) has Vista on it, is possible to copy Windows Vista operating systems it load in my LT?
I need the solution as close to free as possible!  I am broke seriously.
The MytechGurus and the number of 1800 said that you guys could send me the steps to take and how to install it.
So far there are no F8, it just goes to the Toshiba Logo where you can access F2 (Bios I think) and F12. Day and night, I tried everything I could think and search on google. Put the CD/DVD drive 1st in boot order (after trying to return to the default settings) with my Toshiba Recovery CD - it was useless. The Guru has said you must have the Windows Op CD, but Toshiba does not understand that! I also tried the 0 and R and C and nothing happens but the screen pretty empty after logo Toshiba (where windows is supposed to load) and then beeps to push the pesky buttons. I also tried Ctrl alt del and just becomes it works for the same process of death after the logo screen. I did the whole thing from the battery and the charger also.
    Basically, Windows does not start.
I'm not surprised, since Vista makes sometimes fragmentary, but its never been THIS bad.
    Please PLEASE please help me!
My life is on the LT model, seriously, and I need it back.

    Hello

You must contact the system manufacturer for instructions. It is a function of their recovery software, not Windows.

  • Had to reload Windows vista 64 bit and now my office think that it's a laptop? How can I fix it?

I had to reload windows after blue screen of death would not go away and now my desktop PC thinks it of a laptop and tablet pc installed programs. I use this as a media pc and run only the moviw and music on this subject. Need to get the old system, because it now seems slower for some reason any.

Why and how your computer gives you the impression it's a laptop?

Take a look at the toolbars when you right click on an empty part of the taskbar.  Uncheck the box about the Tablet PC.

  • Motherboard fried; replaced, but the OEM disks don't reload Windows Vista

How can I do or what number to call to get reloaded Vista.  I have two computers even.  HP Pavilion a6300f.  Both are about 2 years old and all original.  In November 2009, the motherboard on one of two computers went wrong.  In December, the other motherboard has gone bad.  I bought a new motherboard for the first and reloaded all the original hard disk, fan, CPU etc. etc.  Tried to use the OEM recovery disk, but he would not allow it.  I would like to be able to challenge the two machines, re - install windows vista and then move to W7 to correspond with my new computer... but I can't get Vista to recharge.

Any ideas on who to call at Microsoft?  It seems to me that I should be able to reinstall Vista and then do what I want to do.

It's nothing to do with Microsoft.

    You use HP recovery media.

You will need to contact them about problems with their recovery media.

You have changed the motherboard and their OEM recovery disks include drivers for the motherboard of origin for your model computers.

    without complications.

Is it possible that if I take my Windows Vista disks can load on another PC which has XP pirate and will replace it

    without complications.

Sorry, but your question isn't clear. There are two main issues:

    1. If you have installed on a Vista-based computer, you can * not * install it on another. The rule is quite clear. It is a copy (or a license) for each computer.

There is nothing new here. This is exactly the same rule that was in effect on all versions of Windows starting with Windows 3.1.

    2. If you want to remove Vista from the computer, it is installed on and move it to another computer, you * may * be able to do this. If it is a copy retail, fine - no problem to do that. But if it is an OEM copy (for example if it is preinstalled on the computer), no you can not do. The biggest drawback of an OEM version (at least in the USA) is that its license it permanently binds to the computer first it is installed on. He can never legally be moved to another computer, sold, or given to outside (except with the original computer). If the computer dies or is stolen, your license dies with him.

  • reloading windows vista when the windows version 7 cannot be permitted?

I bought windows 7 for my laptop earlier this year and have no problem. However STUPPIDLY that I have loaded on the rise also on my desktop do not know that it could be run only on a single computer. I just want to re install windows vista on my desktop since it is the version with which it came. However I can't find the restore for vista disc or product key. I need them as surely as they were not completely removed from the computer during the installation of 7. What is the best way?

Desktop manufacturing may have provided a "recovery Partition" on the drive hard, check the owner's manual or call the technical support of the manufacure team. You can also request filtering alternatives if you have no restore partition.

As for a product key, check the side or back of the case for the product key sticker.
