If I run Firefox and IE 11 what Flash Player download or I can download both?

If I run Firefox and IE 11 what Flash Player download or I can download both?

Hello

Firefox and IE use different Flash Player plugins, but you can install it in your system.

Just go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer of the Internet Explorer browser and install Flash Player-> it will install the ActiveX of Flash Player plugin which is used by IE

And if you go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to the Firefox browser and install Flash Player-> it will install NPAPI plugin of Flash Player, which is used by Firefox.

Hope it solves your query.

Have an Imac with 10.5.8, what version of flash player I can, and where can I download it from? Thank you... Brian.

    Hi brianc31061266,

Flash Player 10.3.183.90 is the last version supported on OS X 10.5.8. It is available on the archived Flash Player versions, however, it is very, very old and very probably will be blocked by modern web browsers due to security flaws.  According to the material of your iMac, you may be able to update to OS X 10.6 and be able to install the latest secure version (19.0.0.227).   You can perform a search on the internet for "upgrade to OS X 10.5.8 to 10.6" and you'll get a bunch of results, including the requirements for the upgrade to 10.5.8 to 10.6.

  • Can I run Firefox and Chrome separately on the same computer

I'm currently under Firefox and Internet Explore on my computer, can I change Explorer for Google Chrome and that run with Firefox?
Some articles suggest that they block each other

Yes, you can run Firefox and Chrome. However, we have to be the default browser. For example, Windows will need to know which browser to use when opening links in programs. Some programs can be coded to use only Internet Explorer, so it is a good idea to leave it installed.

    • Firefox: Tools-> Options-> Advanced Panel (general tab)-> (Select Select) always check to see if Firefox is the default browser on startup-> check now
    • Chrome: Key tool-> Options-> basics (tab)-> make Google Chrome my default browser

  • Flash Player download guard fails with the interruption of the connection and then abandoned.  satellite, Internet connection

    Win XP. Firefox 34.0.5 (latest)

Continuous Flash Player download fail with the interruption of the connection and then abandons. I'm on a satellite Internet connection.

It seems to be extremely slow, even when loading the installer which is only 1 MB. Then when I run the Setup and it starts to download the installation there are frequent messages lose the connection and then finally give up.

I had problems with other software crashes when I'm on a satellite link. This is probably because of the huge latency that can be regarded as a failure of the link. Ping times are usually 800ms but can sometimes be 2000ms!

    Hello

The installation of fix online program, you use actually download and install Flash Player silently in the background.  If your satellite connection has latency problems, it could cause failure to download.  Please try the published full installer at the bottom of the problems Installation | Flash Player | Windows page, in the section "problems".

  • Cannot install flash player, download run script error: could not set correctly - undefined reference innerHTML or zero

Unable to download/install Flash Player, download script error: cannot properly set innerHTML reference undefined or null

    Hello

The script error is caused by the DPI setting on your system.  If the DPI setting is set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% Setup returns the script error. If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and Setup online should work.  To check/change the DPI setting:

    1. Start the control panel and go to control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
    2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
    3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
    4. Click OK
    5. Select apply
    6. Open a session/disable
    7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

A fix for this should be released in the coming weeks.

  • I started to have some pop-under ads every time I run Firefox and uninstall instructions don't make sense, how can I stop these?

In the last two weeks, whenever I run Firefox, a grandeur nature pop-under ad is also launched, regardless of which site I am browsing.

The original ad was for a survey on You Tube and contains a link to coupondropdown.com, where there is a menu option for uninstalling. The uninstall instructions don't make sense, they do not mention what ad - control ads, and I can't work out what is responsible for the ads of my very basic range of ad - ons.

The reason why I write, it is that ads increased by annoying but harmless, dangerous. The announcement today was conceived as a pop-up warning text says, ' detection: immediate Action required.» Fatal error in registry... click on 'Repair All' to eliminate all possible threats and clean your PC". I have screenshots of all the foregoing.

I'm worried that another user, my son or mother, might take this warning seriously and install malware by accident. What can I do to prevent these ads? I expect this type of advertising malware on dubious websites, I get them when I try to access Hotmail, news, etc., so it is not the site that is originally.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox can be a result of malware installed on your computer, you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to search for malicious software that work with your existing anti-virus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP, if you do not already have one.

  • Download junk in the background every time that I run Firefox (and I do not have installed AVG)

I am aware of this: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/997796 - but I haven't installed AVG. Every time I run Firefox, even in an empty tab page, a few seconds later my bandwidth starts used. I got Cucusoft Net installed guard and TCPEye, and both show that Firefox is connected to the internet and download - even if I have not loaded any page, there's always on 'new tab '...

I too FDM, but this happens with or without its execution (ditto with my XAMMP localhost installation.)

I have disabled all add-ons, and run Firefox in safe mode, still the same thing happens: when I start a new tab, my bandwidth is murdered (parenthesis: my normal surfing via Telkom Mobile internet is sloooow between 60 Kbps and 250 Kbps if I'm lucky, but the download of this background is off-the-charts more than 1 200 Kbps and a few seconds) (, I lost more than 20 MB of mobile internet really really expensive, I just can't afford to waste, that's why I have all these monitors TCP and network graphics running all the time.)

I also ran a Kaspersky rootkit revealer and reported no threat. I have ZoneAlarm antivirus and firewall that does report also no infection (ditto ClamWin)

I found the problem... it's Firefox.

How bloody rude of Firefox... I put my browsers NOT auto-Update (because my bandwidth is so bloody expensive) but you choose to override my settings and auto-update anyway... WITHOUT MY CONSENT.

    How bloody rude.

There's a reason why we put 'no' to the updates, and I expect that respect you this shit.

  • my Media Player from microsoft says this (symaddln) when I try to run it and stops. What do I need?

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone! my media player microsoft says this (symaddln) when I try to run it and stops.

    Ideas:

    • You have problems with programs
    • Error messages
    • Recent changes to your computer
    • What you have already tried to solve the problem
    Hello

    What security software is installed?

This "symaddln" occurs especially if you had Norton installed anti-virus software.

I suggest you follow the steps below and check if the problem persists.

    Step 1:

    (A) I would say you temporarily disable your security software (if you are using Norton) and check if the problem persists.
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/disable-antivirus-software

Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats.  In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus software. If you need to disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet or a network, while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

    (B) If you already have Norton Security software before and uninstalled later, there would be traces of which would result in the computer does not normally. I suggest that you use their uninstall/removal tool to uninstall Norton Security software traces.

    Step 2:

If this does not help, I would say you put your computer in a clean boot State and check if the problem persists. This could be the result of a conflict of software of third party causing the problem to occur.

Note: Be sure to follow step 7 to start your computer in normal mode.

  • Don't run Firefox and I can't go in the Profile Manager to make a new profile.

Whenever I try to launch Firefox it does not open. I had this problem before and I fixed it by using the Profile Manager, I'm doing the same thing this time. However, the Profile Manager will not open at all.

It is possible that your security (firewall, antivirus) software blocks or limit Firefox or the process of plugin-container without you inform, possibly after the detection of changes (update) for the Firefox program.

Delete all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container in the permissions list in the firewall and leave your firewall again ask permission to get full unlimited access to the internet for Firefox and the plugin-container and the update process.

No, you don't have to install twice.  The same plug-in lies in a location accessible by Safari and Firefox and works in both browsers.

  • If flash player problem, there is nothing wrong to do a system restore when he was working and not day of flash player, but firefox update?

flash player update and update of firefox is not compatible. Do not play videos or connect to web sites and freezes... Solved by doing an update of windows system where he was working. This gives you a work of flash player, and you don't update and cancel the automatic updates. You can update firefox. A simple solution, just type in system restore in the start menu and follow the directions. Worried if there are drawbacks.

Thanks for the replies. Here is my story: after the update of firefox and flash player June 22, I was unable to use my computer effectively. I am retired and use the computer for research, the entertainment and recreation. and I could not reach sites, found sites gel, could not play videos or hear telephone conferences. I tried to replace the flash player with older versions of the flash player, but kept receiving messages that the installation failed and I needed to install the latest version, I tried to get rid of. I also reinstalled firefox and flash player disabled player real and cleared the cache and cookies. I did not disable the protected mode which seemed complicated, I knew how to clear cookies in firefox at the time here.
I decided to do a system restore before June 22. I have found that installing and reinstalling and put to date had exhausted most of my system restore dates, but I was able to find one on June 3 and he ran. If other people will try this fix, they should do it before he runs of dates.
The fix worked, and I have not seen any bad effects. I have no files or important data. I see that this could be a problem. However the difficulty of making a system restore is running much less than firefox in safe mode or some of the other methods of obtaining an older flash player which I have been unable to do. Also I don't know how to disable the protected mode or quick acceleration, but I see that people should be judged with the fix of real player before doing a system restore which seems to be a last resort, for your comments.
I was more concerned about security than with the loss of data. It seems that adobe tries to protect firefox users of problems with viruses with protected mode, and using the flash in prior non-protected mode was what I've been concerned. However, if I couldn't use the computer, the protected mode was not any help. I could stop and protected him, also. I didn't suggest others to do this fix if it was dangerous, but for me it was quick and easy to a moment that I was about to give up. I wanted others to know about it, because it works, but I didn't want to be the cause of unintended consequences. So I guess I have found, use the fix at your own risk and try first the other sollutions.
