Think of the interest for photography and photography giant growth and product photography, etc... all this seems to have escaped to the spirit of an entire society for more than a decade. How is that possible? Then Windows 7 comes out, and with it, not a single program remotely associated with this boom in the huge market that is PHOTOGRAPHY and all that it encompasses. Not even the new SIZER IMAGE that Microsoft added to XP and was a hands down... feeling! Not in Vista and millions of complaints/requests to bring to the rear for - recycle for Vista - all ignored for the next 3 years - not in Windows 7. During this time... Mac sales are sky monte skyrocket. Was this all just too much to ask a simple society... couldn't you have at least thrown buyer of Windows 7 a bone and include the Power Toy Image Re sizer you missed in Vista and add it to Windows 7? I've read articles where other people say the same thing, I am at the moment - all eager to know W H Y?

  The digital camera - videos - etc... the industry has exploded with new technologies and became 'the' new obsession/hobby/interests of thousands or even millions of people - make the pro little people who cared too long at all if they captured a moment on film. How does this "boom" (if you want) in the interest of this leaflet thought eyes and the thoughts and minds of ALL the creative staff at Microsoft... it's amazing really - who are the spirits of power/creation at Microsoft for lack of a better term - IDIOTS... My God - no one is STUPID THAT... because it is simply STUPID.

  If Microsoft (and Microsoft is probably) a SILENCE behind closed doors with say ADOBE to promote ADOBE and AGREEMENT at the same time works back to create whatever it is perhaps at a more reasonable cost that are competing directly with ADOBE and others - and then go out with him... because it's really make Microsoft look STUPID and God knows they have accumulated more than way too many "STUPID" already in the years - come clean on this because this is a HUGE BEAST. And PLEASE... If you're not going to acknowledge the industry of digital image which is 1 million miles ahead of you already - please at least... re-the Power tool Toy "Image Re-sizer" for Windows 7 64 bit... which may not be so difficult or too much to ask - and if the statements that I made in this message are not sufficient reason - then please read thousands of blogs. etc... there where others wondering the same thing of you / Microsoft.   Why, suddenly, changing the stroke on an object changes the dimensions of the object in the processing window? If I draw a carrΘ, 100 x pt 100 pt with no line, the transformation panel says it's 100 x 100 pt pt.   I know that I have to include a custom ini file to specify the name of the font AND size for target PCs (those where the EXE is executed).

  Thanks again for your response. Since your last I discovered through my system status (Control Panel), I wrote that my product ID and the Windows 7 activation status not available. So I followed instuctions to help and microsoft support to activate.  Yet once, I got the error code D0000034 as before with the problem of update. However, I was given the opportunity to phone, but received no phone #. I bought the DVD of Windows 7 and installed on the PC that was custom built for me.  On the site Web microsoft help and support, I was asked for the product ID, which according to them is a # 20 numbers.  Not the only one, I have is the product key which is one 25-alpha-numeric.  I tried to enter only and does not pass.  This is why I say that I can pay for help since I did not ' have the product ID.  Maybe it isn't your area of expertise, Irfan, but I was hoping... I re - install windows on last April when I got in trouble and probably did not re - activate? What do you think?  If you can get back on track, I would be very grateful and thank you once again to be a big help!

  in CVI2010 the sizeof operator returns an incorrect struct size if it contains 4 bytes and other spaces. I guess that the addresses in the struct are also not as c-programmer thinks. First a minimalist code example:

  Over the past years and last cvi-versions I had never compiled with the compiler Borland, which returns the correct size. Because the Borland compiler is not included in CVI 2010, I am using the compiler to build-in the standard. In my opinion, the compiler looks to optimize the code somehow, my project cannot work with.

  Because I read the direct struct of binary files I'm looking for a to code based, solution.

  Is it possible to disable the relevant optimization?

  The compiler may have different alignments for the fields of the struct: a usual behavior is to them be aligned on a 4 byte boundary, that is each field starts on a multiple of 4 bytes from the beginning of the structure in memory. This seems to be the behavior of the compiler that you are using currently, who returns as the size of the structure 8 after aligning the fields.

  Alignment of the structure can be modified with a #pragma appropriate preprocessor directive: adding #pragma pack (1); in your code tells the compiler to pack the structure without filler fields; After that this statement sizeof returns the size 5-bytes are waiting for you.

• LogFilter - ignoring the first alarm

Every morning, we get two alerts on each server for a total of six alerts. We were informed by the developers that we can ignore these first six alerts every day.   Here is some info on this. These six alerts can come from any time of the day. So, I don't know if there is a way to configure a rule that will ignore the first two "Communication link failure" alerts LogFilter and then draw attention to any warning which follows.

  There is an option that ignores the zero values & the missing values in the dialog box when loading data in cube ASO interactively via EAS.

  Y at - it an option to specify the same in the MAXL Import data command? I couldn't find a technical reference.

  I have 12 months in the columns in the data flow. At least 1/4 of my data is zeros. Ignoring zeros keeps the size of the cube small and faster.

  We are on 11.1.2.2.

  Ive set up some custom interpretations which are mainly based specific size and IBR is able to generate the most selected.

  But it ignores the specified height or width based on the best fit and creates a record in maintaining the proportions .

  No idea how to force the BOVINE infectious rhinotraecheitis to create a 100 x 100 or any what 'specific' rendition of combination of height x width?

  Ive configured ootb engine for rendering, not any external engine.

  BTW its WCC 11.1.1.8

• Incorrect size of Photoshop

  I put my canvas with 320x460px, both crop tool and the rulers (in px) say that this size is correct, but when I save in .jpg and open the image in other programs the size is incorrect. Could someone help me?

  I suspect that the resolution of your jpeg image is bad. Try this. Open the file in Photoshop

  

  Uncheck resampling and in the resolution box, type 72

  

  You will not lose pixels by which is confirmed by activating the Resample return option.

  As you can see the image is still its original size, but the resolution is increased from 96 DPI to 72 dpi

  Save the file with the new resolution setting

  

  Now, open the image in Illustrator. I selected the picture here and as you can see the pixel dimensions

  are now the same as they were in Photoshop.
