  The alias parameter access is just for reading.

  To write to the parameter, you ned to use control of Calibration of model or the model parameters Manager API. Alias as the parameter cannot be used to write.

  I currently have a problem with an application I developed. I use VS2008 and c# with Measurement Studio Version 8.6.0.189. My application uses OR controls to display the tables and diagrams.

  I tested my application on my desktop and on other computers and virtual machines (including Windows 7 Beta, XP) and it works as I expected. For the installer, I used the normal generation of Microsoft tool in VS 2008.

  Now, my client has problem to run the application on a laptop with windows XP. The Setup works very well and install .NET 2.0 and my request as I expected. The customer can start the app, but when the program gets to a point where I intern create and initialize the elements of an WaveformGraph, I get the following exception:

  Finally I found a solution. I had to manually add the "Microsoft_VC90_CRT.msm" and the MICROSOFT_VC80_CRT to my Installer and then it also works on all of my client.

  I get an error "the initializer for type for 'advancedsetttings' threw an exception" when trying to view the subscriptions in the event viewer.  The machine is a windows 2008 server.  It worked before but just stoped working.  I tried loging in as a local administrator on the machine account and has not worked.  Also, it does work with an account that is a domain administrator.  That everyone knows, or knows how to solve this problem?

  You can give the Startup Repair to try to clear this error. I've included the steps located in the help section on all versions of Windows Vista.   I had the same problem too, so instead of using the windows mode I downloaded dosbox and the programmaX interface. It's great for running applications in DOS on windows (all versions as far as I know.)

  its pretty easy to install just choose a directory to install to. Then to install the interface you simply point to the directory where you installed dosbox. When you start the interface (programmaX), there will be a button to the top of the upper part called Assistant. Just click on the wizard button and follow the pages. If you want to create an icon for it in windows just goto tools... create a shortcut, and then click ok when the box is in place. ;)

  Other issues, is that a chain is not a uint.  A uint is a numeric value.  So, after you have created your color of string value, you must typecast as a uint.

  Trying to upgrade my Satellite L300 - 29V Vista Home Premium to the Toshiba provided Win 7 Home premium with the help of the upgrade DVD Toshiba. I tried this many times now with no success.   At this point, the mouse is active, but none of the keyboard keys control apart from the pointer appears only on the area of the event, enter and esc. Pressure on one of them or by clicking on the OK button or Cancel will be empty of the screen. A minute later, the blue screen of death will be appear and disappear quickly, after that, I have the option load Win 7 or return to Win Vista. Do go back to Vista (which I did several times that I care to remember) is not a problem and the laptop runs without problem later. At any time I am able to view the event log.

  I followed the instructions given by the upgrade DVD, IE. removing the drivers and continued on the upgrade to Windows 7. I've updated the mobile site to download drivers/software Toshiba in order to have the machine as much upto date possible - everything to nothing is outside having more drivers to remove using the upgrade DVD.

  The only thing I did is to back up my data and recover Vista to factory settings and load on top of Vista in this way.

  But before that I'm looking for the Forum of Toshiba for any useful advice - someone else has had this problem or does anyone know a way around this - if so I would appreciate your help.

  As you can see, my Pickle is my value is of a type allowed. This only happens in certain documents, and there is nothing that distinguishes these documents from those in which it works of course.

  One thing I noticed is that the error sometimes manifests a while to appear (a minute or two), but none of the styles have been moved once I click OK. So, I don't know if this is specific to a single style. I doubt it, just because other documents with the same style the value of work.

  Anyone can shed light on what this error can mean in this context? I have certainly an activeDocument, so what could cause a Document to a Document?

  date, IE that is entered by the user - January 1, 2010, then another parameter should not be prometed to the user and it should be interpreted as "year of parameter passed" - 1.
  
  Thus, in this case date = January 1, 2010 and year = 2009 (implicit).
  
  I used sys_context for the date that is passed by the user. I tried using substr (sys_context (), 'year') in the request (personal folder), but it does not work.

  I had already installed CS2. Uninstalling CS2 and CS6 relocation do not work either.

  Start Windows as a guest.

  Unfortunately the Office looks terrible (standard windows)

  Find the CD drive and start the installation of the CS6.

  This method works as well offline (Activation within 7 days later).

  When you are done restart as long as the previous user.

  Create icons to monitor.

  Disable the guest account.

  Turn it back on.

  It seems, Adobe wants to protect me against the abuse of my own computer...
