  I noticed that in Illustrator 14 CC when I make a new web document with 'align new objects of pixel grid"selected, as I work in the document any of the new forms that I would actually align to the grid without enter me the transformation Panel and selecting the option for each new form manually.

  Is it a new parameter in 14 I'm missing? Obviously it is not a totally disabling behavior there is a work around, but it of still pretty annoying and slows down my work flow. Any help or insight is appreciated.

  The final and only solution I could find was to reset my laptop to the original 8.1 Windows build and start over. I disabled the bitlocker encryption. Ran all updates until there is no more. Then installed Illustrator CC 2014 and had no error of creation of new files. However, he had the same noise open Illustrator CC files by double clicking on the files.   I'm having a lot of problems with Illustrator CC 2014 and the bearings commented. Every time I have try and attach one object to another, or attach an object to a guide, the object snaps above or below the guide / subject but never properly snaps. This also happens when I'm completely zoomed in!

  The following is a general list of things you can try when the question is not in a specific file (you tried/made some of them already). 1 and 2) are easier for temporary strangenesses and 3) and 4) specifically preferences might be corrupt); ((5) is a list in itself and 6) is the last resort.

  (1) close Illy and open again.

  (2) restart the computer (you can do that up to 3 times);

  (3) close Illy and press Ctrl + Alt + Shift / Cmd + Option + shift during startup (easy, but irreversible);

  4) move the folder (follow the link with this name) with closed Illy (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);

  5 look through and try the relevant among the other options (click on the link with that name, item 7) is a list of the usual suspects among other applications which can disturb and confuse Illy, point 15) applies to the maybe CS5, CS6 and CC);

  Even worse, you can:

  (6) uninstall, run the vacuum cleaner tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and then reinstall.

  The photo on the left is Illustrator CC 2014 and the right one is Illustrator CC. As you can see the icons and text on the left expand, resulting in less space for the document.   It seems that your windows scale parameter is > = 125% and is put across the user interface to adapt to the parameter, as in 17.1 he used scale of OS to trigger at > = 126% and many complaints from users that have is not to scale to 125% scale which has been the case for most users. If you keep your windows less than 125% scale, it will launch in the scale to 100%.

  I've just updated to version 18.1.0 Illustrator CC 2014 and have lost a feature I've come to depend on to try different fonts. I don't know what to call the function, but that's how it worked:

  I would go with a zone of type selected or highlighted in the menu fonts and with my arrows up/down on my keyboard, through the start list. This will cause the selected text to change. It was a super fast way to go up and down my list of fonts to see what kind of different would look.

  I peut change the font with the arrow tool, but it would not change the text block I was applying unless I then press 'enter '. In the previous version of the AI, I didn't need to do until I landed on a font I want to use.

  However, after a conversation for an hour with Adobe, they were able to see my question and provided a very simple solution:

  1. quit Illustrator CC 2014 18.1.0.

  2. go to: user > library > Preferences > Adobe Illustrator 18 parameters, select the 'en_US' folder and then change its name (they had me rename it to '2en_US')

  3. relaunch Illustrator and the problem should be resolved. Illustrator creates a new folder preference.

  4. you can go ahead and delete the original, preferably renamed folder.

  I hope this is useful to others who have had the same problem.

  I just upgraded to Illustrator CC 2014, and I'm a little baffled by the inability to turn off the screen Hello. It may be easy, but I don't see how.

  Under the menu 'Help' I don't see a check mark next to "Hello"... ", but clicking on it does not turn off the screen Hello. When I turned off the screen using the Red Cross in the upper left of the group, it does not go far, and it can be turned on again using the menu entry "help." I don't want it to appear... never. I wish I could use Illustrator way I want to and not felt the need to close this superfluous cover, everytime I open the software.

  Select the 'Getting Started', 'News' or 'Tips & Techniques".  Then scroll to the bottom of the Panel.  Click on the checkbox "do not see the Welcome screen Again.  You can click on the red x to store the dialog box, and it will not come back unless you manually reopen in the Help menu.  Note him 'don't show welcome screen Again' is available only if you are a Subscriber paid to creative cloud.  Trial users will still see the Welcome screen.

After the reinstallation is the same thing with the same error. I am running Yosemite 10.10.1. Illustrator ran fine before the system restore. Photoshop and InDesign CC 2014 start very well.

  I'd appreciate any help you can give me. I tried to discuss with Adobe, but the cat was not available.

  Uninstall, run the cleanup tool and reinstall.

  I'm looking for a way hide and sublayers by name in Illustrator CC 2014 so that I can export each image as an action. I currently have an action for export, but I am unable to display and hide sublayers of name before as I have the export unless I do it manually.

  Step #2: Export image.

  Step #3: Primer 'Grey 1' set to hidden.

  Step #4: Primer 'Gery 2' the visible value.

  Etc...

  Can I use a script or is there another way I can do this automatically without having to manually select each sublayer, and then export?
