• Illustrator CS4 toolbar icons have "smeared"!

  Hey people,

  You have a strange problem this morning from my copy of Illustrator CS4 work, a large number of icons on the toolbar when you have daubed for some reason any? See the image below for what I mean, when you click and hold on one of them family tools are also smeared, they all seem to work very well, you mind.

  

  If anyone has had this problem and don't know a solution? I rebooted the system, update CS4, windows update, update of the graphics driver

  No other CS4 components have problems.

  I running design premium CS4 on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit on a Dell Precision T5500, Xeon E5520 processor with 12 GB of Ram and a Nvidia Quadro FX1800 if that's any help to anyone.

  I think it was the conflict any more as a plug-in hardware.

  However if she just started to happen it might be something to do with a setting in either the drivers of the card or Illustrator or the system

  You can try toreset your settings by pressing control, alt, and shift keys (all 3 together) when you start Illustrator.

  That resets the settings or you can move or delete the settings folder if it does not help, sometimes, something else in the folder is damaged.

  This may also be a conflict with a policy, if you have installed or updated software up-to-date recentlyI suspect this software or the police. Do you have free fonts recently used in a document?

  Here's how you can find and remove the settings foder

  1. quit Illustrator.
  2. rename the AIPrefs file (for example, to AIPrefs.old) user / AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS3 Settings(user)folder.
  3. launch Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

  4. you can also just trash this record if the new preferences work very well. Also, if this does not work then move the entire Adobe Illustrator CS3 settings folder to another location like your desktop for temporary storage Illustrator will create a new folder with all the elements required in the folder and the settings will be cool by default.

  However, if there is a conflict or hardware issues this will probably not help.

  Clear the cache and cookies from Web sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/tools > Options > advanced > network > content caching Web: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

• bookmarks toolbar problem

  I installed Firefox 10 9 - when I load firefox my bookmarks bar does not appear even if it is checked in the menu toolbars on the view menu. If I uncheck it then re - check it seems, but it's frustrating because I have to do this every time I load firefox.

  I also seem to have problems with the app tabs - which I've never used it before, but they do not remain once I close firefox and it is I thought to reopen was supposed to happen. I have not activated the private browsing.

  I have deduced that the problem seems to be related to an extension of blacksheep 1.7. If I disabled firefox load it correctly the toolbar of bookmarks.

• Mirar toolbar problems and recovery disk?

  My kids accidentally downloaded the Mirar Toolbar, and it has really raised heck with my count. I'm not knowledgeable enough to go into the registry and fix everything, but managed to slow it down a bit. I get pop up Windows I am in another site, and also if I try to go anywhere in a search engine, it refers me to a different search site. Real boring!  A friend told me that I have to throw everything away and start again, but I don't have a disk for my windows XP, or the original dic of HP with all the drivers I needed to reinstall.   Hello fairtime2, sorry to hear about your problems with your HP computer. It seems you might have a virus. From your description, it seems to be a virus.

  You normally would not have any disk backup of your system, but rather a backup of partition on your hard disk to restore the system to its original state when shipped from HP.

  Here a link to how to restore from recovery for your computer. You will lose all the data added to the computer, since you started using it.

  Just look at the Windows XP Recovery section.

  As your system is so unstable, you may not be able to accomplish this from Windows.

  On some systems, when the system boots, you can see a screen that will show you a few options.

  Just look at the recovery section during startup.

  One of these options is for a restoration of recovery. Simply press the F10 key repeatedly to enter this recovery restore utility.

  Choose to format the hard drive. You will get an error that all data will be lost, but just continue and in 15 minutes, the system must be restored to its original state.

  This seems to be the only way to recover from some of these nasty viruses.

• Toolbar problem. No mode full-screen.

  Before I could click on an internet destination and happen mode full screen without an extra full box or click on F11.  Now to a toolbar which requires an additional step.  My laptop does not.  How can I fix my desktop computer to fix this problem?  I use the Windows XP version.

  Right-click the minimized on the taskbar window button, and select move. Now, use the arrow keys to get to the screen. Close all other windows except this one and use the cursor to drag the message to the desired size. • Menu toolbar problem and start for windows vista Home premium 64-bit

  I've recently been tweaking and accidentally got rid of my explorer.exe file, (I think that I sent to my trash and maybe deleted it?). Once I realized that I just typed as a new task and it reappeared.  The problem I have is that since then I had no toolbar or start menu.  I tried to access it through the control panel that does not work; I tried Ctrl Esc, which does not work, I tried everything I can think of? What's weird, that's all my desktop icons are great, and for some reason if I have Ghost click my mouse in the lower right of the screen I open random programs usually on my toolbar, I can even drag on my desk.  I tried to find common ground, if my toolbar is there somewhere?, do to slide it back on my screen, but it was done without success.  Another thing is when I start my computer in safe mode, my toolbar appears with my Start menu icon?  Anyone know what may be the problem?  I am running windows vista family premium. operating system: 64-bit

  As you are able to see the toolbar in safemode, I suggest that you perform the clean boot to limit the problem.

• Window to open the Illustrator document resize problem

  I'm having a problem with whenever I go to file/open or file/new model, the open window to select the file you want to open always resizes in a small window (as seen in photo), cut the rest of the information and documents, I drag the corner to enlarge resize so that all the information is visible , but the next time I open a new document, it shrinks down. It is very annoying especially when I'm busy and the opening of several documents. I searched on google looking for similar problems and everything I find solutions on the change of the overall size of the application window. I also searched all of the preference settings and there seems to be an any setting that I can find. I know that in previous versions of Illustrator when this happened, I drag the corner to enlarge the window and Illustrator would remember the size. Have they changed something, and I'm the only one who is upset? HA I highly doubt.

• Illustrator CS6 display problems and Yosemite

  I recently bought a macbook pro with Yosemite and problems with Illustrator CS6.

  There are so many bugs that I can't set as follows:

  • Dialog boxes appear off the screen
  • Cannot scrolling completely on the dialogs for the column
  • Cut and paste Illustrator artwork in Photoshop causes random pixelated appearance.
  • Text in my work and in some of the menus and icons in the tool bar appear to be lo-res.
  I tried various installation options, looked at the display screen and preferences options, but I have no idea what is happening.

  First of all, remove column view until Apple fixed.

  The right path/order is to upgrade the operating system, and then reinstall the applications. If this isn't the case, already, in my view, that it should be, at least for Illy.

  I would like to add additional information. The problem occurs when a drawing tool. Retangle, ellipse... is used. Also when scrolling the adjustment of work plans and using the lasso.

  so I had this problem on multiple machines running windows 7 (at work and at home)

  Illustrator shortcut keys I've learned to rely on 'V' or 'P' or 'A' do not seem to work properly in CS5 (and CS6?...)

  If I hit the 'V' key for example, instead of going to the direct Selection tool, I might have a little "ding" noise reject me (windows :), or the drop down menu display could open...

  That is what it is?  What is a software conflict?  material? (I have a wacom at home but not at work...)
