  It doesn't sound like it's automatic numbering due to several work plans. Unfortunately, there are only a few options... to rename the files of the operating system, use 1 plan of work per file.

  I just tested the behavior in CS5, CS6 and CC and it's the same thing. If you check 'Use work plans', you'll get automatic numbering.

• Illustrator CS4 save vector art for Microsoft Word

  I have a logo created in Illustrator CS4. I saved the file for use in Microsoft Office using the 'save for Office", export as a .wmf and even save vector art in Photoshop as a .png. I can get a variety of formats to work well into Word documents.

  That is the problem. Finally, the Word document will be saved in PDF format. When the file is saved as a PDF (from Word), the color changes in the PDF file. How can I fix this? I tried to record the changes in the modes of rgb and cmyk colors, but the color when it hits Acrobat prints differently than the Word. It drives me crazy and I can't understand it.

  I do this often enough and export to Illustrator in .wmf format. I get the necessary transparent background, no problem of pixel, and the graphics are crisp. Clip art from Microsoft Office is about all .wmf formatted, so I thought that it would be compatibility problems and there is no. This is perhaps an approach that will work easily for you.

  My copy of Illustrator CS4 is now clear my preferences everytime I open a new file. For example, my color chart color will disappear, my preference unit gets back from inches to points, and the Roland VersaWorks swatches I need to use an outline of cutting on a vinyl machine disappear.

  I tried close, restart and even reinstalled the entire suite. I'm confused and need to solve this problem because it's affected my work.
