  Whenever I have a file I or any type of file and want to use the option "save under", when I select illustrator PDF completely freezes. I have to force quit and then restart to resume work.

  My work around was to save as a file, open the file in adobe Acrobat 9 Pro and "save under" PDF through this program. It works every time. But the option "save under" PDF in illustrator crashes whenever I use it.

  I have a logo created in Illustrator CS4. I saved the file for use in Microsoft Office using the 'save for Office", export as a .wmf and even save vector art in Photoshop as a .png. I can get a variety of formats to work well into Word documents.

  That is the problem. Finally, the Word document will be saved in PDF format. When the file is saved as a PDF (from Word), the color changes in the PDF file. How can I fix this? I tried to record the changes in the modes of rgb and cmyk colors, but the color when it hits Acrobat prints differently than the Word. It drives me crazy and I can't understand it.

  I do this often enough and export to Illustrator in .wmf format. I get the necessary transparent background, no problem of pixel, and the graphics are crisp. Clip art from Microsoft Office is about all .wmf formatted, so I thought that it would be compatibility problems and there is no. This is perhaps an approach that will work easily for you.

  I was looking for this thread and saw that you wanted the screensaver start on another folder or pick up where he left.

  Unfortunately, we cannot control this in Windows without constant human intervention.

  I have a problem with Illustrator CS4 on two PCs. There is no regularly available Arial. I can see narrow or "BOLD" but not regular. In Photoshop, I can see the Arial font. But what I have is two Arial in the menu fonts in Illustrator. In the menu fonts from Windows, I have the Arial family with all the fonts Arial, for PDB Oligo Arial MS Unicode Arial regular and.

  Is also on the 2007 Office system with all the installed patches.

  What is a custom company cast or something? If so, remove it. It's just 'steal' the Arial normal and causing weird stuff with the automatic grouping of fonts.

  I've recently updated to CS4 (I know, I'm always late), but since when I "save for web" my vectors appear pixelated. It seems worse when I want a transparent background. My pictures are for the web and it won't.

  I had a mix of text describes with a drop shadow.  And another text with a drop shadow on top.  Not too complex at all.

  Provide screenshots of the aspect and layer panel and / or information on grouping. Stuff endangered means that the appearance is somehow twisted and that it is not made in the right order when exporting...

  Please provide me a solution, I have recently reinstalled the entire suite CS4 on my windows 7 for a second time. The first installation of most of the applications had just dissappeared.

  Really trash the prefs? If this is not the case, do. Desp this could be anything from the permissions problems graphics driver problems when you try to access specific folders, but since you did not provide any info, it's anybody's guess as to what is perhaps the real cause.

  Ok.  It looks like an incomplete installation.  Nevertheless, DW think that you have a local test server.  Every time that you save the files, he put copies in your C:\Users\Catherine\Pictures\tailormadeart folder.

  Except if you create dynamic web sites that use databases and scripts server side, you don't need a test in DW server.  All you need is a Local site and your remote server.

  For static HTML sites, I recommend you remove or clear the definition of testing server.  See screenshot.
