Illustrator CS5 re - install error: Install.app cannot be opened.

Hi all

Has anyone ever seen this error when installing Illustrator CS5 on Mac OS X Lion?

'Install.app' cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image.Screen Shot 2012-11-13 at 09.26.00.png

Things that could be related;

(a) I've recently updated the hard drive. I have restored from a backup Time Machine

(b) I had some oddities happen with illustrator in the last months. Yesterday I could not place graphics .png in a file, so I uninstalled everything and decided to reinstall from scratch.

(c) my downloaded source (illustrator_15_1_LS1.dmg) is placed on a network volume. I assumed that the error meant that it was damaged so I downloaded the source again to Adobe. I get the same error on the file you downloaded recently.

(d) in response to a suggestion in the forums, I tried disk utility > check the disk on my new hard drive. It found several permission errors that let him difficulty. The problem remains.

I'd like suggestions on how I can solve this problem.

Solved

Short answer: OS X 10.7.4 (or maybe before) introduced an incompatibility between the illustrators and Mac OS X installation file.

Update to OS X 10.7.5 resolves this.

He directed me to the Gate Keeper OS feature X 10.8 was put in the OS X 10.7.4(or plus tôt, pas trop bien sûr) updates.

Run ' sudo spctl - has Install.app / "gave the result of CSSMERR_TP_CERT_REVOKED, but the solution posted on stackoverflow for deactivation of guardian of the gate did not work.  So, I'm going to find a way to inspect the certificate. I have not found how read that the certificate, but that only led to read me the apple site on the guardian of the door, and that even if it was introduced as a feature of Cougar (os x 10.8) some features have been provided to developers in LEO (10.7).

I thought I should buy and install Mountain Lion, but find that I had not had the Lion was last updated.  I downloaded, installed, rebooted and now the installation program works very well.

    2. what mobile phone you are using?

    3. what web browser do you use?

    4. What is the full error message that you receive?

    5. are you able to download other programs without any problem?

    If the problem only occurs with the Nymgo software download, I suggest you contact Nymgo support for assistance.

    My CC has been down for 2 weeks and it is just killing me. After the migration of my Macbook Pro to an Air of Macbook 2015 2010, I can open is no longer one of my CC applications. I get the error message 16 configuration.

    I followed the troubleshooting instructions to grant permissions to the folders: SL & Adobe PDC store inside the application support folder for Adobe. Does not work. I rebooted several times.

    Under my signature is what was recommended to me as a solution. I do that twice now and the problem persists. I need someone savvy adobe real to figure this out for me.

    Help, please! I am an independent video creative who needs these applications to run my business. Thank you.

  • 15.0.2 Illustrator CS5 update/install question

    I am trying to install the 15.0.2 for Illustrator on my mac os x 10.6.5 update.  It seems to download fine however when it gets to the point of installation, in fact, it stops and says that there is an error.

    No error # no other information other than to contact Adobe. I went to the link and I download and install the adobe support Advisor who finds nothing wrong with anything on my system.

    Am I the only one having this problem or is it a bug that can be fixed?

    If the permit is revoked there's not much you can do.  If the license is not revoked, but you get a message indicating that it is, then try to contact the Adobe Support via chat and see if they can check the status of the serial number that you are trying to use.

  • I can not install on the new iMac ElCapitan 10.11 c5: click on install and says 'Install' is corrupted and cannot be opened. You must eject the disk image.

    I downloaded the Illustrator c5 for Mac file. When I click in following the instructions on the INSTALLATION it says

    It is also the same for Photoshop InDesign and Adobe PDF Pro.

    Any suggestions for how to install it?

  • Cannot access PC settings, Apps installs not opening and closing, updates

    So... i started with a connection internet dropout. No matter how many times I've selected automatically connects it kept being changed. Used scans etc, found nothing. The problem then grew a slower connection and browser. I use IE and Opera. Opera is my default. A few days later I can't open all the apps without them immediately close it before they were properly open. I can't access PC to change the settings. I tried various solutions of MS and other Malware software. Both have had some effect, but not resolved the issue. I can now open apps, limited reach 95% of the installation of an update of windows instead of 0%, have the automatic internet connection... still have slow service, part 3 and MS preinstalled apps cannot be opened and no access to notebook settings.

    Somewhere along the way 20 + new apps appeared, all administrative tools.

  • Illustrator CS5 has stopped opening files.  And my trial of 6 is also not open them.

    Most recently, without reason, that I am able to discern, my copy of Illustrator CS5.1 simply ceased to be able to open the files.  Try to open the files - if. HAVE or. EPS or. Just result of PDF in the spinning wheel and a failure "Application is not responding.

    Illusrtrator request the operating system to resolve an alias and the OS crashes get call attrlist() on the mountpoint associated with the alias.

    I would say to try if you have not just first uninstall the suites if it is a folder called Adobe Installers in your Applications/Utilities and there is an application called Adobe Illustrator CS 5 installer or something like that and use this application to uninstall Illustrator

    Create a new account with administrator privileges, log into this account and then try to install AI CS 5

    If this does not work I say you have a dispute with a police or a corrupt system.
