  I cannot save files from Photoshop on my internal HD on a 24 "imac with 4 GB of RAM. This problem started only recently and is happening in CS3 and CS4 on the same machine. HDD internal 1 TB and has 380 GB of available space.

  If I save on a HD external and everything is fine and the files recording within seconds, as expected. I did drive repairs and permissions controls / repairs using disk utility and all are ok.

  Any ideas as to what could be causing this? A kind of preference which is perform both CS3 and CS4 maybe?

  Hi, I couldn't follow it all, but

  How much space do you have

  Highlight the icon for your hard drive and command + i (get info)

  How many GB are available

  Then,.

  you have booted from the installation DVD and ran

  Disk utility > repair disk

  you have all the results (errors) in red text

  If disk utility can't repair their departure DiskWarrior (or erase, restore backup)

  have you created a new and updated trial user account

  did you run the last Apple COMBO UPDATE for your operating system

  did you run all the Apple and Adobe updates

  have you used a utility like OSX Cocktail to release your caches and run all your maintenance scripts

  have you given zero (ZAP) the LANDAU and rest the logic board (which can be called a PMU reset on an iMac, not sure)

  have you added any 3rd party software that may interfere with the operating system Finder

  have you added photoshop plugins

  (can check you put a similar screenshot of your plugins):

  (to take a capture of screen, Option + shift + 4, then do drag the area you want, and then insert a picture on your answer)

  

  Finally, if nothing else works, you can better served by erasing your hard drive and starting over (backup Time Machine can save your bacon, unless the problem has been saved to your backup)...

• Illustrator slows down the pc

  I'm not one with this problem, but I have not found a solution.
  After a few minutes (10-30 minutes) work in Illustrator, pc slows down everything (delay) - not only HERE, but throughout the system. It is the normal return after reboot I.
  I also work on Photoshop and After Effects, but these works fine, no problem... Fast AI only for the first few minutes work...

  It happens on 2 different machines, personnel and the pc to work.
  1 i7, 32 GB of RAM, 980GTX (asus), win10, 64-bit
  2 i5, 16 GB RAM, k4000, win7 64 bit Quadro (also on problem win 10, 64 bits)
  
  I tried everything (different accounts, all versions of the CS6 HERE at CC, 2015, disk formatting, all boards of the adobe forums) - nothing helped. Always the same...

  I did not notice this problem on my laptop (i7, 8 GB of RAM, 660GTX), win10, 64-bit

  Try disabling gpu rendering, which helps for me and I have exactly the same problem.
  However he is not really a solution because I don't want to really made gpu to work. But it is a temporary workaround.
  I hope that v.2017 might be better, but do not have time to install it at home again.

  Running HAVE CS5.5. All of a sudden, when I "save under" in pdf format, the pdf content is not saved. On the contrary, when the file is opened, the document said: «this is an Adobe Illustrator file that has been saved without content PDF.» To place or open the file in other applications, it should be re-recorded to HAVE with the 'Create PDF Compatible file' option turned on. This option is in the Format Options native Illustrator dialogue bos, which appers when you save an Adobe Illustrator file by using the Save as command. »

  I understand that say these directions and I can do it like that, but it is impossible to open the file by a person without I.

  It's used to work so easily! Save slot, choose pdf in the drop down menu, it adds .pdf for the file name, in fact!

  Can someone tell me what does this change? Two days ago it worked fine, and I would not change anything (knowingly).

  I read a couple of them where the problem has been resolved with a reboot. Have you tried? Also, did you get the same results when using save a copy?

• Illustrator CS5 / Windows 7 crashes on save

  I have problems with a brand new installation of Illustrator CS5 (from the CS5 Master Collection) on a brand new workstation HPZ400 Xeon with 8 GB of ram.

  If I create a new document, draw shapes a bit and add some text, it works as expected and records ok.

  If I try to copy/paste in the document, when I try to save him, Illustrator quits unexpectedly and Windows 7 throws up an alert with Adobe Illustrator CS5 had stopped working.

  I have patched Illustrator to 15.01 and the problem persists. I've renamed the preferences file to force HAVE recreate but the behavior is the same.

  I did not have this problem on previous versions (although they certainly were running either XP or a mac). Other applications in the collection seem to work ok.

  Illustrator is different from other Adobe applications, it must have a default printer and I understand that the printer must be set to manual then this way is not automatic?

  If I were you I do a search on Adobe's Web site for such a problem and see if they have a white paper on the issue.

  The return of the files is not necessary for all the file as a JPG, PSD, HTML etc extension here is the universal file format

  However, if you speak the native file as Indesign INDD format, and HAVE Illustrator so yes you can save the backup for CS5 CS6 file, the procedure can vary.

  InDesign:-save the IDML file and the IDMl file is compatible with Indesign CS4

  Illustrator;-fichier--> record, in the "Save as" dialog box choose the version to which you want to downgrade.

  So, it depends more on the file format

  In your applications folder, another folder that contains the files you specify more the application itself there. So, looks like you got the wrong icon in the dock. The window with this Configuration, Cool Extras, legal, Presets, etc contains also "Adobe Illustrator CS5"?

  I recently bought a new PC upgrade from XP to Win 7 64 bit. (See the Photo of my new computers plug please. I can't copy/paste of text in this forum.)

  This PC was bought to replace one of my XP machines who died after 6-7 years of service 24/7, and I need something quick and inexpensive to replace.

  I had Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2 on it and moved in my Win 7 64 bit machine. Then, I upgraded Photoshop and Illustrator, Illustrator CS5, and Photoshop to Photoshop CS5 Extended.

  I've always loved and used Nvidia video cards, and I want to update this new PC with one, because there just the integrated graphics card Intel HD. This Win7 machine has plenty of room to expand and add upgrades.

  I know I also have to upgrade from OEM 300 watt power. Planning on a good high quality PS 650 Watt modular or more if necessary.

  This PC Win7 will be regulated to surf the web in General and very light game once I build my graphic PC dedicated later on this year.

  So I would get a decent Nvidia card most likely in the GeForce line for this machine which allows the full use of all of Photoshop CS5 Extended and illustrator CS5.

  In the price range of $150.00 - $200.00. I was looking at it on Amazon.

  My thoughts on purchasing a good card now for a future Build are, it is not very wise to me.

  This store bought PC will run my Photoshop CS5 CS5 Extended/Illustrator for about a year, I would say that perhaps a little earlier, maybe not tho.

  So buying a good or decent Nvidia Quadro card now, will not be a year from now, or at least the price will probably have dropped some of todays price for it.

  So I am in need of a mid range all around Nvidia card most likely a GeForce card.

  I want to run Photoshop and everything is pretty decent features without any gray areas in the Performance preference settings.

  I have to go to the sea on this PC, just get all that photoshop has to offer, all that this is a bit slower than a $2,000.00 Quadro card for now.

  I'm a Nvidia guy completely, just like I'm a guy of Intel CPU.

  I already bought the new PC Tower for the new construction, a CoolerMaster 690 II Advanced Nvidia Edition.

  Save money for all the other stuff and do not start buying all until I can buy it at the time. So the price of some items, I booked will be either down or replaced with parts updated in a year.

  The best I7 out today, with half the cost 8 months to a year from now, know what I mean.

  Photoshop is just a hobby relaxing for me, I want to just that this PC running decent without breaking the Bank at the moment. A lot of break the Bank will be delivered with the dedicated machine.

  Welcome to the HP support community! I read your post and wanted to tender hand can help you!

  I understand that you notice a decrease in speed wireless on the x 360-15-w100nt laptop computer ENVY when running off the battery voltage.

  You can check and adjust the power options on the system as it is probably trying to save battery power by reducing wireless performance.

  If you're still having problems, you can follow the steps described in this document to troubleshoot the network settings and internet wireless.

  If you mean that you have a lot of files on your desktop, as appositive to shortcuts, the office is not the place to save files to-it's like having a draw just a lot of paperwork which is not in order, makes them easy to lose / move things
