  Hey guys, I solved the problem with the mouse.  I have the keyboard and mouse plugged into the back.  Initially, I had the mouse and keyboard connected, in this configuration to include only the mouse was frozen.  I went there where their vertical connected to each other, that is to say the keyboard on top of the mouse on background.  that resolved the =)

• Illustrator freezes and crashes

  Hello!

  After a few minutes of work, freezes Illustrator and/or crashes. When it freezes, really weird stuff happens. The menus at the top is screwed up, with options to overlay each other. I can't click anything, and the only option is to quit smoking by using the Task Manager in Windows. When I restart the software, automatically saved version is not getting all the stuff. If it contains an image in JPG or PNG format, they will be lost. (Check what hapenned with the image below):

  

  At first, I thought it was a hardware problem. But after I did a format complete my system, all reinstalled and added more than 16 GB of RAM, it continues to be.

  Is there a solution for this problem?

  Your computer hardware appears to be more than good. Have you tried to disable the GPU performance in Amnesty International and verification preferences? If this isn't the case, please do and then check Illustrator. Share the result.

• Illustrator freezes when resizing work plan

  Since a few weeks I had a problem with resizing work plans in illustrator: when I do it, the preview is fine (it is resized I change the size in the pop-up screen) but when I click on OK in the resizing of the artboard, my illustrator screen everything freezes. At this point, I can still use my laptop, but not Illustrator. It freezes for a few minutes and then all of a sudden it works again, and my work plan is resized. I tried starting illustrator without preferences (Shift + Ctrl + alt for windows), but no luck there.

  I am running the latest version of Illustrator CC 2015 on a laptop Windows 8.

  I tried to launch Illustrator as an administrator, and that works perfectly. Then I tested it again as a normal user, and all of a sudden that has worked as well? This problem was me upset for weeks, but it is now resolved.

• Illustrator freeze selection of objects

  I am running Illustrator CS5 on a brand new quad-core MacBook Pro. When I am working in an Illustrator file, whenever I click on another object the program freezes for a good 5 seconds (which adds up quickly and is really annoying.) First of all, I noticed that in a great illustrator file with lots of different items, but I was testing out and it always happens when I have a new document with only two circles inside. One of the circles is selected and I click on the other circle and the program crashes.

  Does anyone else have this problem/know how to fix it? Thank you!

  OK, I found the problem for mine... I should guess that actually, as it was causing some problems in Photoshop for me even, until that I disabled it for Photoshop, then these issues have been resolved.

  Are you by chance using demand RightZoom? It seems cause bugs in some of the apps CreativeSuite... I disabled RightZoom (cmd + click on the application to see the preferences and disable it) and now the suspension on the selection of an element in Illustrator is fixed for me.

• Adobe CS4 Illustrator freezes in OS 10.11.6 El Capitan?

  I am using OS 10.11.6 El Capitan and when I start a file in Illustrator CS4 file shows, but all the Illustrator application is frozen. Can't even move the window. So I have to exit the application. This has happened when I upgraded from the previous operating system. I trashed the Illustrator preference (.plist). It made no difference. I trashed the Adobe font cache. It made no difference. Anyone had this happen? And if so, is there a work around?

  More that likely Illustrator CS4 is not compatible with El Capitan and you will need to upgrade to a version that is.

• Freeze after sleep

  After "standby" mode, my screen wakes but cpu is frozen.  This happens only when I he wake up in the morning.  During the day, it seems to wake up very well.  The mouse pointer works for a minute or two, then it freezes.  I was told to run chkdsk.  It will not work.  Worries me also.   Something lights disappear from the screen.   I did a chkdsk before and it worked very well had this problem before and I don't have any idea what to try now.

  Some time ago I installed Windows 7 as well as my favorite products from adobe, and recently I've installed Illustrator CS4, which went very well. But when I want to launch Illustrator, it gets stuck at the orange loading screen. To be more precise: it stops at reading fonts... AdobeInvisFont. I tried to locate this font, but I can't find anywhere (although I found a few Type 1 named ADOIF_ in taken fonts fonts supported files/necessary /).

  I also tried to reinstall and serving fonts etc., but that did not work. Does anyone have a suggestion which can solve this problem?

  I have a PC with Windows 10. My recently starting Illustrator to crash after having worked in it for 5-10 minutes. I got on Adobe Chat support (at this time there a few days ago, he did a mistake). We reinstalled my graphics card drivers, reinstalled Illustrator and creative cloud and made an update. The tech went and reinstalled a Microsoft visual C++ update my apps and features. The error disappeared after all of our troubleshooting but now Illustrator freezes with no errors, everything works well. After some troubleshooting of myself and with the help of the Microsoft forums I did a full scan of my pc using windows defender ran ccleaner and cleaned my disk and registry. I uninstalled programs I don't need, all my startup programs turned off and disabled all non-Microsoft services programs in msconfig. It would freeze again. I disabled all my services including Microsoft those I so had no sound, internet, or band of firewall my Illustrator seems to work very well. I have narrowed it down to a Microsoft service that is conflicting with my Illustrator and Adobe Suite. The question is that it is our 50 or I? How will I know? Does anyone know which ones to turn off to fix? can I disable all and enable only those essential to the operation of my OS (preferred)?

  In fact, I formatted my computer and back to windows 7 ultimate. It could be that they don't still have drivers for windows 10 with my graphics card. Sucks having to format, but at least it seems to work ok now.

• Thunderbird V38.2.0 crashes after SLEEP under WIN10 Home 64-bit

  The freeze after sleep 8 10 times while Thunderbird already worked very well. Also noticed a small empty Popup which may not be rejected. Must be completed via the Task Manager, restart OK.

  This is a known issue that gets attention.

  Alternative WORKAROUND: Until a permanent solution is made, I hope that in the next update, if you want to avoid the Thunderbird crash try setting to be disconnected before the sleep/hibernation file. Offline | Work offline. Then do the same again after the wake up the computer to put it online. Or, in the case where the only problem is Thunderbird not getting not new messages, do both after the wake up the computer.

• Envy 17 3D freezes after activating the vitualization material

  After enabling hardware virtualization in the BIOS, my Envy 17 3D freezes trying to wake up after being in mode 'sleep'.  The hard disk starts and the keyboard lights up but nothing happens.  The screen stays black and the keyboard does not respond.  The only way out is a hard stop.    If I disable the hardware virtualization in the BIOS, everything is OK and the envy out of sleep normally.  This behavior is consistent and reproducible depending if the hardware virtualization is enabled or disabled.  Technical support said that there is a known issue of pro Win 7 and directed me to Google search for "Win 7 pro xp mode freezes from sleep mode.  These results do not seem to adapt to my situation.  If I am right in Win7 or xp mode without even installing xp mode, the computer crashes when hardware virtualization is enabled.  It is a new system with no other software installed.  This is actually my 2nd desire - the first was returned (by recommendation of tech support) for the same problem - they thought then it could be a hardware problem.  But now a 2nd one with the same problem?

  Any thoughts?  Suggestions?

  Thank you for the ear!  Yes, the upgrade to e.16 solved the problem.  The laptop also has the problem of wifi, so I'll try this suggestion as well.  The final test is to see if I can up Hyper-V and running.

  It is amazing that I would have gone through a new series of sending the laptop for repair if it wasn't for this forum.  I spoke with my case manager, who said that the fix was not released until August 9, and that's why my laptop has not been successfully upgraded during its repair.  Lame!

• Illustrator crashes on save in. AI with a layer of text not indicated

  Illustrator 2015.3.1 - 10 of Windows with the latest updates installed and NVIDEA GTX GPU 970 (372.70) latest drivers running.

  Illustrator was working fine a couple of days. Today, when I was working on a new file and went to save, Illustrator crashed. I have re-opened, automatic backup of backup is restored, immediately try to save, down again.

  Here's what I did:

  • I checked to see if there was an update available - there were. 2015.3.1 update, restart the computer, Illustrator breaks down.
  • Try to delete the Preferences file, it deletes the automatic record of my work, so I try to edit a new file, add text, trying to save, Illustrator breaks down.
  • Open illustrator, try to disable the use of the GPU in the program, create file, add text, try to save, Illustrator breaks down.
  • Open Illustrator again, create the new file, write something, try to save, Illustrator breaks down.
  • Read online on the problems that others have any with build 2015.3.1. See that users have a problem with text, specifically the fonts on the system. Thinking that he could be bound for the fonts used (unlikely, as they are common fonts - Lato and Gotham), I open a new file, add text by using the font Verdana size, try to save, Illustrator breaks down.

  After a LOT of troubleshooting with support and be wound up to software engineers/developers. It came down to a simple problem that has happened in the past with Adobe Photoshop.

  If there are all the fonts installed on the system that contains special characters in the name of the FILE (I had several that were the symbol of the brand), it will make Adobe Illustrator fails when you change a file, or when you try to save. Previously, I had this problem with Photoshop, but they released a patch that fixed, so hopefully that happens as well with the Illustrator.

• Illustrator CS2 can not place an image

  I've been using illustrator for a few days now and all of a sudden today that he just stopped allowing me to place pictures.  I checked photoshop and managed to place a file. I looked around and I saw a few other complaing about the problem but no real solution.

  I started having the error in middle of day after working with it for a while.  I tried to open a file and got an error indicating that the file is not found.  I copied the file from the network drive, it was on my desk and it opened but some images on the file when it is empty.  If I try to fix the link Illustrator freezes.

  After posting this message, I tried once more and it worked.  No one knows why this happens?
