  been working on this site and really really can't know what ive done wrong. to consult http://treesbeastsandhairythings.com/test there seems to be a large gap inbetween pictures and I just do not understand why or how his arrival? Ive done the image at the bottom half of the table a background because I put the text and other images ontop.

  I'm afraid of the way in which the page is put together will cause you more problems on the track.

  The gap is due to which, it seems, combination of things: a dog wandering

  attribute just before to start your nav images, then a line break
  down to the next line.  However, as soon as you remove the offending attributes, your page breaks.

  What you should do (because you use a tabular presentation), 4 separate tables is implemented.

  First table will be your header image (with a single cell table)

  A table with the exact number of cells to organize each of your nav buttons

  Follows that with a table (a cell if you have only one content area and no sidebar) to organize your content

  and a final table to hold your footer information.

  You have not gone too far in the development of this page, so I would really start before start all other pages, to ensure that it works properly before going any further.

  You need to replace the built-in CMOS battery. This often happens if the power supply (battery and adapter) is removed for a long time (feel, computer laptop not in use for a long time) or if the laptop is used for more than 2 years (motherboard not replaced).   I just got a chat with support session and he succeeded to remote in and the fix for this problem by stopping all the services of Adobe in the Manager of tasks then went to my profiles folder in c:\users\\AppData\Local\Adobe and there he renamed the OOBE OOBE.old folder.  When I ran the Setup again, it ran fine and created a new OOBE folder.

  I am teaching how to build a Pixel Bender (2.5) plug-ins for AE CS5 by porting a FCP FXScript I wrote recently.

  I do some [other stuff] to the image and it works fine, but after other functions, I want to allow the adjustment of the red channel of the image gamma correction, and so I have a parameter:

  .. .and then I apply the change gamma later in the script, with what I understand, this is the formula of standard gamma correction:

  SRC.r = pow ((src.r / 255.0), redGamma/1.0) * 255.0;

  However, the range is not in the same way to the effect of AE normal levels, where it crashed into the black around gamma 0,0 and died in the red suit at about 5.0. In the formula I put in place, levels crash to around 0.5 gamma black and Red full to about 1.66.

  Is there a scale factor or another Exhibitor the levels effect incorporated EI use that I am missing, or something else that I'm not wrong?

  I'm not an expert on gamma, or AE applied on the way, but I'm suspicious about your use of the constant 255.0. Once you run in a PB filter color values are floats in the range 0.0-1.0. The formula that you quoted seems to be asuming that color values 0-255 and it's a necessary step, and I suspect incorrect conversion.

  If you leave the / 255.0 and the * 255.0 do the results match what you expect?
