  1 create a rectangle and make it 100% width by pressing the button width 100%.

  

  2 give this rectangle at the height of your choice.

  3. fill the image desired in the rectangle using fill option and make 'Center' "scale to fill."

  You may need to move from the basics to the Advanced. Go: Window > workspace > advanced.

  I've worked edge ahead (with these options showing you listed), but when I've upgraded to the latest version of CC, he did "essentials" my fault, which eliminates these tool options. VERY ANNOYING... I have to keep switching to advanced. Other things do not work for me now, too (like the selection tool... essentially to make it unusable). I don't know what's going on, but something is very buggy now, which is very disappointing for me. I lost all evening trying to make it work, and now I'll get my project done.

  You can have the Web site icon, but it will be not bigger: it is stuck at 16 by 16 pixels.  This is how the icons on Web pages are programmed.  It's not for lack of Microsoft: it's just the reality of the world.  If you forced the site of MSN icon to be large enough to match the size of the "large" view desktop icons, that's what it would look like:

  

  Of course they don't want people to complain about the ugly tense icon, and since Microsoft cannot replace the icon for each Web page in the world, they simply leave it at the default size so it looks nice.
  Given their big stretch would become extremely blurred, Windows leaves these icons low resolution to their normal size, centered insizing a box.

  Hello all, greetings to all! I tried to understand a lot of manuscript of Java, but without much success. Programming isn't for everyone. I know, it won't be easy, but it I ask for costs. I have here a challenge for us to build a 'modal' dialog box to perform various functions with different scripts. If possible, some of the big developers forum here to try to create a simple modal model with at least 4 options and each option run script corresponds to its proper functioning. I believe that with four functions, I'll get to edit the template and add other features.

  Default browser will add scroll if content extends outside the framework, that in his State, but you can customize it and remove all the appearing on the page scroll bars.

  You don't need a database if you want to only count the number of times that a request has been sent.

  What you need is a text file called counter.dat or similar and place the code in the form Manager to open the file and place a new value in the file.

• How to replace the image that contains clickable images?

  I use RoboHelp HTML 8. Some of my help topics have an image that contains several interactive images that allow the user to click to see, for example, the field or button definitions on objects on this image. In the past, I was able to grasp or to create a new image file and give it exactly the same name as the old image file (for example, ccm_assessment_shg.gif)-a new replacing the old. and when I saw the image in RoboHelp HTML, the new image contain still all image maps of the original image.

  However, now I see an image (.png) file in one of my subjects and I would like to replace it, but my old process 'replacement with the same name' does not seem to work. What is my problem? How can I do this in RoboHelp 8? Is the problem related to the file must be a gif instead of a png? (I must confess that it's been several months that I worked in RoboHelp, so I just forgot something. I can't find instructions on the use of image maps and self-help groups).

  Exactly how you try to replace the image? I ask, because if you open the dialog box Image and work this way, you will probably lose the connection with the regions of image maps. My preferred method is to simply work completely behind RoboHelp back by replacing the image using Windows Explorer. RoboHelp should be none the wiser as long as the file name and location are the same.

• Hero image to fit the screen vertically?

  I recently created a Web site with a navigation bar on the top of the home screen. Just below the navigation bar, I placed a hero image that spans the entire width of the page. I want to make this image extends all along the visible page by the person accessing the page. This means when they visit the site, they will see only the bar of navigation and the image of hero. Then when they start to scroll down, more of the page will be revealed. I found a great example of this at www.orangedigital.com.au

  Any help will be much appreciated.

  You can either use an image in the browser or the filling of the page or you can stretch the image vertically so that users get the option of scrolling the page on the image.

  I have a colorpicker [colpickr] and a movieclip [mc] the image on the stage. I created a bitmap of the same image (imag1) using the code. Select the color in the colorpicker and a mouse click on the movieclip (here I used getPixel) will change the color in the bitmap image to the selected (with setPixel) color. I have two images; one is a movieclip (inorder to add the listener for the click event), and one is a bitmap (to set the setPixel property). But I need a single image.

• Problem of image quality in the publication

  All my images in my publication are TIFF - and very high quality images. There are some images that show the pixelated very high (and printing). They are sized to fit their bounding box properly and I even tried completely remove the image and re - insert. Any ideas what could cause this problem? All but two images are very well... I don't get what is happening here. I use CS3 on a PC platform. The images have been prepared as a PSD in Photoshop then flattened and saved as .tiff files.

  Yes, it's what Bob says. It is not only beautiful, but it may be better.

  I have create a PSD that contains all the settings for the picture having a layer turning them into black & images in white who is the final adjustment that I do and I then create them versions color and black & white this.

  You could save those DICE, place it in InDesign and control layer visibility in InDesign. You would only have a single image, placed on two occasions and could transform the power adjustment layer to get your color and b & w versions.

  Of course, none of this directly addresses the issue of the quality that you see. It would take probably more detail regarding the size/resolution of the image and attitude to solve problems which here of output.

I saved the image after resampling and simplistic image, the pip size reduced to 72 and lowered the low quality only to see the minimum file size reduction. Why the dialog box in photoshop gives me a different file size than my computer and how do I solve this problem? Thank you!

  The Image Size dialog box dialog box shows the uncompressed size.

  Your operating system (Explorer/Finder) shows the size compressed. (size on the disk)

  If you use save for Web, you can see the compressed size, but also an overview.
