Images alerts equal to the size of the doc.

HI forum,

Baby script to script.

I have a script which will alert you if the last frame size [RECTANGLE] is equal to the height and width of the document...

I really need a help from you, to check, IF ALL of THE CHASSIS, IS EQUAL to WIDTH AND HEIGHT OF the DOCUMENT.  [not only the last item] and ALERT...

var doc = app.documents [0];

REC = doc.rectangles.lastItem ();

rectHeight = Math.round (rec.geometricBounds [2] - rec.geometricBounds [0]);

rectWidth = Math.round (rec.geometricBounds [3] - rec.geometricBounds [1]);

If (rectHeight = Math.round (app.activeDocument.documentPreferences.pageHeight) & &)

rectWidth is Math.round (app.activeDocument.documentPreferences.pageWidth))

rec.itemLayer = doc.layers.itemByName (layerName);

Alert ("FRAME SIZE IS CORRESPONDING to DOCU. SIZE');

Thank you

  • What is the size of the image used to render the list (for list image rendering)?

    Hello!

    Can u please tell me, what is the size of the image used to represent the listItem. I used the size 40 x 40 for listitems, but the listitem be merged with another. Image will not be rendered with the size (actual size).

    PLS, suggest me-

    ListIField generally uses a height up to the police on the storm no devices. The storm, it has a fixed size greater than the height of the font.

    If you want to draw a picture of 40 x 40, you need minimum height of 40px. Call setRowHeight (40) in the constructor of the listfield.

  • Why one of the many images will save not the same size?

    I'm very experienced PS user/commercial photographer, normally to do my job without any major problems. But I have lived just an anomaly weird to prepare images for my site and I wonder if anyone can understand what I have to be dominant?  After all changes to color/tone/compositing on each image, I have run through a series of droplets, which variously flatten, sharpening, size, change the color profiles and so on. These droplets self made save me a lot of time and effort and working perfectly for years. The end result for each image should be a jpeg in sRGB that matches the dimensions of the page of my site, with a size optimised for minimal degradation and quick loading. These images should weigh anywhere from 250 to 560 ko, and without exception, they always have. So far. Before going to the last drop (which will save in JPEG format at a certain level of quality), they are all flattened TIFF, all exactly the same pixel dimensions. The final JPEG images vary a bit in size, depending on the complexity of each image, but this one, simple images of winds up to 2,1 MB - more than 5 or 6 times the size of other images.  I went back and looked at this image at each stage of its development, and I can't see for the life of me what it differs from his comrades, or why it won't save to 400 KB or more.  There is no channel stored in the DSP, or anything else I can think of that I might have missed. Any ideas?

    The image is loaded on my site now, big as is.  You can see here in this new collection of images...

    And we have also seen some cases here recently that came down to the metadata. I know, it seems unlikely, but apparently metadata can reach huge sizes in certain specific circumstances. So if you haven't already done so, try saving for the Web (with metadata set to 'none' or ' copyright/contact').

    Copy and paste into a new file deletes also all the metadata.

  • image width - Center and the culture of images to smaller screen sizes and keep the centered text?

    Hi people,

    I have an animation that I use as the header of my page.  It consists of a background image and some animated text blocks that are centered on the image.

    I would like to have the image extends to the entire width of the browser window, keep the image centered on the smaller screen size.  I also want to keep the blocks of text centered on the small screen so sizes.

    the question I have is that in smaller widths, the image 'glue' to the left of the browser window and not centered.  Finally, I would like to "reframe" the sides, but keep the image and the centered text.  comp stage has a min width to prevent him from becoming too small on smaller screens.

    Here is an example of what's going on.  I hope this helps.

    the dashboard computer is nested within a div - div, that he has the following properties.

    } .page-in-head-animation

    min-height: 400px;

    overflow: hidden;

    Width: 100%;

    text-align: center;

    }

    and the smaller screens, I have a media query

    @media only screen and (max-width: 768px) {}

    } .page-in-head-animation

    min-height: 300px;

    position: relative;

    }

    }

    so I want the computer on the edge to stop the downward revision when it comes to height of 300px and Center 'crop' from there.

    I have these settings on my stage.

    Please let me know if you have any ideas - I've been struggling with this for a while now!

    Thank you!

    You can not achieve what you're trying to animate. You will need to add CSS and script exernallly.

    Here is a link explaining how to Center a background image while the scaling.

    You have a div covering the lively scene.

    Value div, rather than having to animate background image.

    Make the transparent animated background

  • Sizes of images for DPS and the retina

    It says that images should not be greater than 1024x1024px but the retina display is 2048x1536px. So, if you want to use images of 1024px they'll appear lo-res on the retina? Is this correct?

    It is an old TechNote that needs to be updated.

    The best way to target the SD and HD (retina) devices is to create folios of 1024 x 768 in PDF image format. See the articles of multi-rendu creation. Another option is to create HD and SD formats, but even if you take this approach, we recommend however stick to documents source 1024 x 768.

    The size of the image, feel free to use for non-interactive images high resolution images. When the articles are created, these images and all other non-interactive page elements are sous-échantillonnées in the article image format: JPG, PNG or PDF. For overlays images, you'll want to understand the difference between overlays which are resampled (slideshows, scrolling images or buttons) and overlays that cross without compression (pan and zoom, sequence of images and panoramas, as well as video and audio). To pass through overlays images, create images JPG or PNG in the exact dimensions; avoid the scaling. See best practices for creating overlays.

  • Size of the image in relation to the size

    I'm just trying to get my head around the size of the image in relation to the size and an answer to my question can resolve once and for all!    Save a jpg file, I say 1000 pixels wide and 100 ppi 10 quality of file.  But if I save the file even to 1000 pixels wide and back to 100 ppi but this time to the quality 5 - What is happening in the file?   I have the same number of pixels in the picture, but what actually makes the quality slider?

    Thank you very much

    Sue

    The size of the image and the JPEG quality are not the same thing.

    Resizing of an image without "resampling" will only change the size of the dimension compared to the size of resolution, but not the size of the overall picture. In other words, you end up with an image low resolution greater or a small image high resolution. But the number of pixels remains the same.  Although pixels can be more or less important, the pixel and data remain the same. However, when you resample an image it affects (based on interpolation methods) actual pixel data.

    When you save a file in JPEG format, you use a lossy compression encoding format (i.e., the lower the setting, the image of several data are removed in favour of a reduced file size). It has really nothing to do with the pixel size, but rather of pixel information. This compression method is based on the algorithms of compression JPEG data, interpolation and pixel. If you do not want to lose any information data and then use the level of highest quality available (12) when you save your files. Or alternatively, save it in a format like TIFF, EPS or PSD lossless. However, at least two formats are generally larger and may not be recognized by applications or PCs. DSP is a proprietary format of Photoshop and although she uses compression methods it is not generally considered lossy.

    The cursor in the JPEG dialog box examines essentially given in pixels and neighbors of pixels when you apply the size of compression rather than pixel (or size).

  • Change the size of the resolution and the image does not change the result on the screen?

    I use Photoshop CS3. I'm changing the resolution of several images that will be printed in a newspaper. So the current images are 72 dpi and really huge - for example 36 x 27 inches (size of the document), and when I change it to 300 dpi, the size of the image to reduce to about 8 x 6 inches, as I hope. But the image I see on the screen does not change. Thus, for example, when I open the image originally, it's 33% and the entire image is visible. After I change the resolution and the size of the image has changed accordingly, the image appears to be always the same and it remains at 33%. The image should not shrink on the screen because its size has been reduced? Or if she stays the same on the screen, the percentage should not change? I mean if the size of the document is now 8 x 6, it should be able to display at 100% and not to fill my whole screen... I'm so confused. Thank you...

    Gradded,

    The "Size of the Document" of the dialog box size of the Image is just to specify the size (in inches) that your document will be printed. The ppi adjustment has nothing to do with what is displayed on your monitor. Your monitor does not care something about PPI. The monitor contains a number of pixels and after you change this setting, ppp, the monitor will always be the same number of pixels.

    As long as you leave the box "Resampling" disabled, will not change the size of your image (pixel Dimensions). You won't see any change on your monitor. If you check "Resample", then the size (in pixels) of your image will change.

    I hope this helps.

  • Links NOT alert missing images and not in the links Panel

    Don't know if this is a consequence to move my files and account across to a new Mac Pro and re-configuration of hard disk locations where files image linked, but... I'm working on a document which lasted from systems - come finally to an end, and I write PDF printing and found this problem.

    InDesign CC 9.2.1 running on the Mavericks 10.9.2 NOT indicate images missing links in the links Panel. In fact it is not showing the image on the page is still in the document - it does not appear in the links Panel, although I can see the image on the page.

    I noticed this when there is evidence verifying a high-resolution PDF print, and the picture looked at low resolution. weird, but should not.  I went back to InDesign file to query the image, and found when I clicked it, it has not been highlighted in the links Panel - where I active warnings, IPR and other columns so I can quickly check problems. It was not at all here. InDesign seems to be blind to the image.  When I right click on images of rogue on the page I do not get the "Graphics" section at the bottom of the drop-down list as I do with images okay.  I guess because InDesign doesn't even know it's there?

    Basically, the image is visible on the page, but InDesign doesn't know...  What gives?  I'll have to go through a long document now by clicking on each image to verify it is showing in the links Panel, and then re-release of links each image that seems to be completely lost as much as InDesign is concerned not even knowing it's there.

    I have "reset all warning dialogs. Made no difference.

    I worry about what other files will do it for me now and how much time will be lost carefully checking validity of each image.

  • Why is the number of images in LR 5.3 not equal to the total number of images.

    Down at the bottom with tray slide in Lightroom, it lists the total number of images displayed, followed by the total number of images that is then followed buy the number of selected images. Once in one of my catalogs, it displays "all photographs 3872 of 3883 1 selected.  I have no filters on.  In the catalogue on the left side box, "All photographs" I selected.  So, why it only shows me 3883 3872?  How will I know what the 11 photographs are that it does not appear?

    I saw a previous post where someone was weird numbers in order to synchronize the folder and they used "Export as Catalog" and he cleaned the wobbly catalog.  Considering that you have only a few thousand files, it should go quickly if cut you everything in the export.  You can then load the new catalog and see if he deleted things upward.

  • Color picker out of gamut diferent alert warning of the range image? (CS5)

    I'm confused...

    I'm editing an sRGB image.  My custom proof condition is set to sRGB IEC, preserve numbers not controlled, BY intention or RC, PCBS. The range warning is enabled.

    I add some text and color using the text color picker tool. I have activate WARNING range in that and choose a color of the range e.g. #ff0000 off. I go back to the image and the text is * no * reported as being out-of-gamut.

    In fact * no. * color marked as OOG in the selector seems to be considered OOG, once I go back to the image with sRGB IEC selected, if they are when I select other devices to simulate.

    Why the disparity between the OOG WARNING image as well as the selector tool?  The tool uses another simulation device that I have chosen?  Who should I believe?

    Ian

    I guess the warning of the range Color Picker is against your workspace CMYK in the color settings.

    Kind regards

    Yes. Life cycle license are by smart device managed. See this page for a good overview:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/support/docs/cloud-systems-management/Prime...

    .. as well as this page:

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/cloud-systems-Managemen...

    .. who States:

    Life cycle license: allows access to all the features of the life cycle, which includes the configuration of the devices, image management software, basic health and performance monitoring, fault management, troubleshooting and customer visibility on the network. The license of the life cycle is based on the number of managed devices. Life cycle of the licenses are available in sizes from package of 25, 50, 100, 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000 and 15 000 devices and can be combined as needed to reach a total number of device under license.

    A device is uniquely identified through the assigned IP address and system object ID (SysOid). Routers, switches, light/unified access points and network first Cisco (NAMs) analysis Modules are charged on the number of licenses. If a switch stack is managed via a single IP address, it counts as a single device. A single frame will, however, be counted as multiple devices if the chassis is configured with several IP addresses. For example, a switch with several service cards, such as a firewall and so forth, or a stackable switch with an IP address assigned to each switch who is involved in the stack is considered multiple devices within the first Cisco Infrastructure. Cisco Wireless LAN controllers (WLCs), autonomous and peripheral access points third are not counted against the number of licenses.

    When you have more devices that licenses, you will receive the error see you and prevented from adding additional devices to your inventory.

    We see it more often when it is light (i.e. not independent) APs are added to a wireless controller. PI will not prevent the new APs to be added, they are managed under their association with the WLC. However, if you try to add a new switch it would prevent you to do until the deficit of licenses has been sent.
