Images exported in CS4 all blacks no matter what settings... help.

I currently have 105 officers in a stack of Photoshop CS4. No matter what settings I use, video codec, or what image format I select to export a video, photoshop export 105 pictures black white image. I'm really pretty darn tired of this, and the search on the Google/Adobe forum for "exported all black frames cs4/photoshop" doesn't bring anything.

Also, I tried the "export to files layers", but it takes 10-15 seconds to export every frame of 520 x 520 pixels! It copies then slowly removes 104 layers for each image, before it saves the image and is horribly slow. Is - this malfunction or just badly written? I do not know. Can't you just save each layer one by one instead of do this archaic process? I guess at the time where he finished this forum will probably not even a response, but this document is only 38MB and it shouldn't take 26 minutes to export images for a second 7 video. I have pretty bad to get just those executives ready to edit IN photoshop, and now I can't get other than this ridiculously slow method. So frustrating to have hours of roadblocks at every step of an animation which is going to be less than 1 MB, in the end.

What should I do?

Probably we are not talking about the same thing here. I, would have also taken that you actually talk video rendering. Export layers to files via the script is an entirely different thing. in this case, I would look for things like layers or the specific layer styles and belnding options be involved. I think also there is a bug in the script that sometimes prevents things from work. Some users have reported problems with this in the past. Forums to search might turn some clues...

  • Almost all cases no matter what programs run almost 100% of the CPU running.

Hey guys I have a problem I could use some help with.

    I have a Dell Studio 1555 laptop

Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64-bit

    4 GB of Ram

    Intel Duo Core T6500 @ 2.1 GHZ

I've had this laptop over a year now and it works perfectly but around a week ago, he went a little out of whack.

Basically, no matter what programs are running my CPU usage will be 90-100%, which makes the laptop almost impossible to use.

It comes and goes a bit, but for the majority of the time is around this margin. (for example I wrote that his party up to 10% once again, little about what I expected, but it will rocket upward again in a few minutes)

The strange thing is that it doesn't seem to be a program or .exe using all CPU. Sometimes odd things as Dell Dock (which must use almost nothing) use up to 40% and if that gets closed or temporarily fixed things like explorer.exe, svchost.exe or whatever happens to be executed at the moment when will start using more CPU and look back up to 100%.

Only, this started happening recently and I have no idea what made him... Any thoughts?

Thanks a lot for all the suggestions/help

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

  • Problems with CSS/Images accented export in CS4

    Platform Windows, CS4, 10.03 Fireworks

I installed CSS/Images improved export stuff, but I can't seem to make it work for the following scenario.

I have a rectangle rounded with a drop shadow and a header at the top content area Central and bottom footer. This is my layout of the desired target. Very very basic.

    1. I have to draw the rounded rectangle using the antiderivative of r - r and give it a drop shadow.
    2. Cut the top of the page header - assigned as a bkgd image.
    3. Cut a small Center for my dynamic content section and assign it as bkgd is repeat.
    4. Cut the foot of page down, assign as a bkgd image.

    fw1.png

    1. CSS export.

    fw2.png

The resulting HTML code is not what I expect. No matter what I do, in the Middle, repeating the area seems they are assigned as the background for the external div that is generated for the rounded rectangle as you can see here in the capture of the HTML resulting in IE 8.

    fw3.png

I follow the blogs on these techniques and this technique "tranche 3" is supposed to be supported and FW is supposed to understand what I'm trying to do, but I can't seem to make it work. Can you shed some light on it, or provide the steps to accomplish this quite simple example? I have attached the files PNG, HTML, and CSS resuting.

The article I am referencing in particular is located here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/fireworks/articles/standards_compliant_design_03.html and is titled, create web designs with Fireworks CS4 standards.

    Thank you

  • export to PDF as black dark black of 100 k

    Hey guys,.

I shook my brain for quite a long time on this issue, it is time to ask the wider community.

When I export a pdf file with any of my profiles for export, all blacks 100 k of overprint (black shade) are exported as CMYK. It's okay if it's a text or a graphic, the document as a whole is CMYK.

My BulletProof export profiles for 2 years, I use many printers so I always export using a very generic profile. Over the past two days, something happened with my settings and eveything I export has this problem. I paid on my settings and none of this has led me to a response.

My only solution is to convert my generic profile with numbers stored.

This makes the problem go away, but he's not answering the question of why he changed after all this time.

    Help.

Screenshot of the doc open in InDesign with selected text with a black shade selected:

Screenshot of the doc in Acrobat pro PES with uncontrolled black:

Thank you Dov, anything that makes sense.

You're right, I have no idea how he works long, generally the workflow was to convert all images specifically for the output profile then export however recently (in the last two days) I was linking the images of all kinds of profiles and conversion to export.

I think I have nailed the problem, working from what you suggested, I discovered that my color settings have been reset, so in fact, I was working a CMYK profile and export the PDF to another. Fix my intent profile to match my output profile has solved the problem. Export as expected.

Dov that you think I should still run into problems I had the chance to avoid?

  • Does not export the text in black

I use InDesign CS 3 and you have created a PDF file for a self published book which has the art of the color and the text. They require RGB files, so nothing is in CMYK mode.

I received the proof of the sample and it is great except that the text is not a pure black: he has shades of light color from one page to another (reddish black, greenish black, bluish black).

Is there a setting in preferences in InDesign, or maybe in the settings for exporting the file in PDF format that can remedy this? I had the preference of the "appearance of Black" value "output all blacks as Rich Black. Change to "Output all blacks accurately" fix it?

Thank you very much in advance for any help or advice you can offer.

    Zina,

I read your first posting and responses of others and yourself.

    (1) he would have no sense which 'they' (I guess that your printer or Publisher) requires RGB files. There is nothing about digital printing via PostScript or PDF which requires RGB or CMYK files. Reliable PDF print publishing process would dictate that you let your images in their original RGB color spaces with their profiles. The RIP process should automatically convert these images to CMYK using your RGB source profiles and printer CMYK destination profile. On the other hand, black text should never repeat never, be done in RGB, unless you try to achieve some special effects such as the so-called intense Black, generally 100 %K with some other color components. Rich black would generally not done for text other than for big screen type. Even sointense Black would be generally specified in CMYK mode to achieve some expected exact effect. So, either specify typical black text in RGB (255,255,255 generally) or output text components and images as a file PDF RGB is far from safe. A PDF file preserving the original colors is what you want and need.

    (2) the question of InDesign for Appearance of Black preference affects only the display on the screen and real non- peripheral PostScript printing. It has no effect whatsoever for printing to PostScript or PDF export devices.

    (3) you will need to have a good discussion with CSR your printer (customer service) or their expert pre-press as to what they do in their workflow. If you have them sent a PDF file with CMYK black text (i.e., 0,0,0,100%) and with the RGB RGB images with profles, you shouldn't be seeing the results that you did in the so-called evidence they sent you.

Proceed with caution, or you may find yourself with a costly mistake. Something is not quite right with what the printer ask to you or the printer does in its workflow with the PDF file, you provide.
