  We have a user with a G1 450 ProBook, who notes that his mouse pointer will periodically move on the screen when she has no control of the pointer, requiring a reboot to fix the problem (it uses only the touchpad and does not use a mouse.)   You will need to reverse the clean boot, as it is either incidental compared to
  the real cause of the problem. What, where you try to fix initially using the cleanboot?

  You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If so you can try the configuration - control panel
  The Device Manager - graphics card - Double click on - driver tab - click the driver UPDATE - then
  Right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

  Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is
  CTRL + ALT + DEL and the processes tab find EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
  on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is reached
  by tapping F8 as you start several times.

  Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all patch is usually on a base hit or miss.
  That there is no information on a black screen as it is on a blue screen just adds to the

• Photo folder to move off the screen when I try to open

  When I open an image file I recorded on my desk, she opens off the screen on the right side.   You can insert and to scale an image of your choice, set its object Placement and dressing of your choice and then do a placeholder image. You save then this as a model. When you create a new document based on this template, any image that you copy/paste or drag/drop on this placeholder image will now have your preferences of positioning of the object and the skin. Other that that, you cannot change the default settings of v5.6.1 Pages.

  The "Touch pointer" section is where I thought that the problem can be caused.  At this stage it seems unlikely, however.

  More I think about this topic, it seems that it might be something in the software of Logitech.  You can check with them.  It does not make sense to me that Microsoft or HP would have software that causes this to happen.

• Windows 7, normal use - mouse freezes when you move around the screen

  Hi there I use Win7 since the RC1 of scene and found it rock solid, I'm now running Windows 7 Enterprise. I installed it on a Dell XPS 1710 and had few problems so far. When I start my computer and you move the mouse around the screen, the mouse "hangs" for a second or two, then moves, then crashes again. In even the startup sound I is unstable, as are MP3 when I play those. All these things worked * perfectly * until a lock suddenly toward the top of the computer having been on during a few hours, which was a new event. The computer haddnt overheating but since then this nervousness thing that happened.

  What I tried:

  Selective startup, without the elements of startup and services, without change.
  Search for new drivers for my card (Nvidia 7950GTX) gfx, no change.
  Shut down the computer to turn off this device to save power 'allow' in the option of USB hub root

  None of that helped him. The CPU spikes 16% at most when you the mosue blocking, I have a lot of RAM available. Occurs when I use the touchpad as well and even when I'm not running all programs - oh, I have a Microsoft Intelli Mouse 5 button.

  I recently created a Web site with a navigation bar on the top of the home screen. Just below the navigation bar, I placed a hero image that spans the entire width of the page. I want to make this image extends all along the visible page by the person accessing the page. This means when they visit the site, they will see only the bar of navigation and the image of hero. Then when they start to scroll down, more of the page will be revealed. I found a great example of this at www.orangedigital.com.au

  You can either use an image in the browser or the filling of the page or you can stretch the image vertically so that users get the option of scrolling the page on the image.

• CS5 - Tiny Images appear on the screen

  Don't know why, but my images have begun opening tiny - stamp-post (at best), on a square inch, regardless of the actual size of the file, most often 20 or 30 MB. Everytime I open an image that I have to manually zoom in to get a useful size. Any suggestions?

  James, you must disable the app framework in the window menu.

  I would recommend to recreate your preferences by pressing CMD + OPTION + SHIFT as soon as you click on the Photoshop icon in the dock to launch.

• Force the Image to fill the screen when the user resizes the window

  I use flex and actionscript to create a site of photographer and I want the bottom to display an image that completely covers the bottom without distortion.  I tried just an image tag and characterized by the width and height to 100%, but the problem comes when the screen looks wider than the photo.  Thus, the height is reduced to 100% and the width is something less.  I would have rather it evolve according to what is most important, that is, if the window is too wide, the photo with a width of 100% on the scale and let the excess off the screen.  In this way, the photo is still cover the screen and there is no background color of distractrating showing.

  I was counting on the use of actionscript to indicate the width and height of the image so that I can compare it to the height and width of the window, but it seems that you can not get the dimensions of the photo.  I use application.width and application.height, but I need a way to compare it to the photo.  Also, is there an eventlistener that I should use to monitor when the user resizes the window or image resizing will be done automatically?
